Great hospitality, beautiful beach, quiet ambience”
We stayed for 3 nights in Sepon. It was big, clean and far from city centre. They have all necessary facilities (swimming pool, gym, spa etc) that allowed us to spend most of our time there. The Cua Viet beach near the resort was beautiful and quiet. Staffs in Sepon are incredibly friendly and helpful. They came to chat with us always. They even offered free fishing trip and free coach service to us. The deputy sales manager, Thoc Uyen, was very friendly and showed excellent hospitality. I would say the staff's service was the highlight of this resort. The only disappointing thing was the spa/ massage. We received only 30 min service while it claimed to be 50 min at first. The attitude of the massage staff was rude. We were disappointed about this incident. The spa/ massage service does not match this 4-star resort which everything else was perfect. I would say Sepon has excellent value for price. It is a good choice to to enjoy quiet and relaxing holidays.

Bizarre Grand Budapest-like experience”
This was the most bizarre place we stayed at in Vietnam and we loved the strange experience Billed as a 4-star resort, but the entire place was in disrepair. Ie. The walls were beat up and in need of painting; the pool was beautiful, but had a pool bar that looked like it had been abandoned for years. Upon check in, you were taken to your room in an electric shuttle (of which they had several), saving you maybe 150 ft of walking, as the facility wasn't that large. Only maybe one out of dozens of their enthusiastic staff spoke *any* English, which isn't a problem in itself (we are in Vietnam, after all), except the facility looked like it was designed to cater to English-speaking guests. The menus, room information, signs, etc, were all in English. The room information booklets were very thorough and offered many non-existent services like banking, multiple pools, multiple restaurants and even dress codes... The beach was massive, *incredible*, and completely empty of people.

Dong Ha - Cua Viet is a planned beach community that failed. Numerous other hotels and this one are desperately seeking business (note time of stay) with very low occupancy. This translates to very low budget for even basic maintenance. So much of the place is in disrepair and needed a lot of work. First room had broken sink, multiple shades were broken and AC was weak. Room two was a bit better but the shower leaked and would not stop. Room three was acceptable, nothing to write home about but at least everything operated properly. Cua Viet was completely desolate so in an odd way, the entire beach was private due to lack of all beachgoers. Would never stay here, even for free. That said I do feel badly for the owner as it is very clear the place is financially suffering.

This is a very large resort across the road from the beach. The resort has nice grounds and room was nice. Its a bit out of the way but if your travels put you in this area end of day then this is a good option.

worth it when booking online. I was the only guest which was a bit spooky but overall nice. The place is kinda falling appart and will probably shut down soon. The pool was nice and huge, restaurant had good food for a OK price. the donside - it was a bit moldy, especially he ‘gym’ which only consists of a couple of broken machines

Ort der Ruhe”
Das Hotel befindet sich nicht direkt am Strand. Der Starnd wirrkte nicht gerade einladend. Hotel hat einen tollen, grossen Pool. Zimmer sind grosszügig mit 2 Klimaanlagen. Kaum Gäste, deshalb wirkte das Hotel trotz Hochsaison etwas ausgestorben. Frühstück sehr bescheiden, a la Carte.

The only choice. ”
Room was big. But a little old (only 3-4 year olds but looks worst than that) . We were there for Tet . So it was cold , rainy and no guest. Not much to say for service ( they need to be trained a bit more how to service Tourist ) . The breakfast were good.But i think I wouldn’t choose to stay there next time .

Sehr saubere Zimmer , Personal sehr nett und bemüht. Die Anlage selbst wird aber nicht gewartet. Die Härte war der Fitnessraum: von oben bis unten grasgrüne Schimmelwände. Wir dachten erst es sei Tapete.

Mooi hotel, ver buiten het centrum ”
Voordelen: mooi zwembad. Ligt aan de zee, dus perfect bij mooi weer. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en probeert alles te regelen voor je, maar het is wel aan de prijs. Nadelen: de ligging is ver buiten het centrum van Dong Ha. We wilden een scooter regelen via hen voor de vinh moc tunnels, maar die hadden ze niet meer en het beste wat ze konden doen was een scooter via buren regelen voor 300.000 dong. Dat vonden wij erg prijzig. Verder was de kamer prima, maar erg klein en liep er een kakkerlak rond.

현지인들을 위한 숙소네요. 직원들은 다 영어 못 하고요, 숙소 내 수영장은 동네방네 사람들이 다 와서 함께하는 곳인거 같구요. 조식도 다 현지인을 위한 메뉴이며 리조트에서 판매하는 음식들도 다 현지식이에여 피자 파스트 샌드위치 이런거 없습니다. 방안에 개미들이 줄지어 살고 있고 해가 많이 들어 더운편이이요. 에어컨에 선풍기도 있지만 해가 쎈것도 있겠지만 에어컨이 오래되서... 더웠던 숙소는 처음이에요. 주변에 마땅이 갈 곳이 없어서 선택지가 없다는게 참 안타깝네요.
