Excellent customer service from the moment we stepped in the premises until our departure. My 11 yr old son keeps on saying, he's Henann sick instead of homesick, lol. I couldn't remember the names of the two front desk personnel but they were awesome. I booked my reservation on line via Agoda and I think I got the best deal at below 100 USD /room/night (2 adults with 1 child) free breakfast included for two. Even when Bohol was experiencing long hours of blackouts due to recent earthquakes that hit Leyte. This resort made sure we have our electricity,ac and water going, which I'm sure everyone appreciates. Thank you Henann Resort in Bohol and we shall be back in the future Lordwilling.

Pyramid is approximately 80m away from the drop off area of Alona Beach, no direct access from main road but it is manageable. The room we got was a superior pool view room, loft type room with balcony so it is really chill. The rooms here can easily get fully booked because of their great staff and service, super clean property, great food at their restaurant and strategic location so make sure to book 6 months earlier if you can, we booked ours 8 months in advance. The pool is 7 feet deep, not suitable for non swimmers. Wifi is fast and free. No complimentary breakfast. In front of the property is where the fire dance performance happens every weekend nights yet the property is still quiet and safe. Bohol is generally safe, minimal to zero crime rate. Local neutered and vaccinated cats and dogs are friendly and welcomed well along the beach. No sun beds in front of the property as advertised in their photos. Will stay here again!

Their restaurant on the second floor serves some great Thai and Chinese cuisine. Breakfast is decent. Filipino sets are the best to order. Gym and pool are ideally located on the roof. Immigration office is across the street for anyone needing to extend their visa. It took less than an hour to get an extra 29 days. That saved us a trip to Dumaguete or Cebu. Staff is totally on point! This property is perfect for those entering or leaving Bohol. It is also ideal for those who need to decompress while planning their next move in the Philippines.

Villa de Gloria is approximately 10-15 minutes away from Tagbilaran City or 30-45 minutes from Alona beach by moped. Off the main road are a set of mild dirt roads (which are being converted to asphalt/concrete roads at a very fast pace) that lead up to the villa. It might not look like much from the outside, but it is an amazing place. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this the place to stay. The bungalows are situated around the pool and very roomy. The two bedroom also comes with 2 air conditioners (one for each room), satellite TV, wifi, and a kitchen. They are also very quiet if you want to relax. Made to order breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served on the patio area overlooking the ocean with views that rival Hawaii. The villa also offers cold drinks to order. 24 hour security also make this place very safe. A very nice place to slow down and relax, but also a great place to book activities. Ernie is very friendly and helpful. He always made time to stop by to see how we were doing and give us insight to Bohol. Everyone at the villa was unbelievably polite and friendly! The best service and hospitality I've ever encountered on my travels, especially Janet, thank you so much for everything!

It was our first time to travel to Bohol. I wanted to book 2 nights at Bohol Beach Club but the resort was full due to renovation. Dumaluan Beach Resort is just beside Bohol Beach Club and they share the same beautiful beach. My friend who recommended Dumaluan Beach rather than Alona Beach (where the nightlife is), was a genius. I got the Junior Presidential Suite at Dumaluan Beach Resort which was just perfect. Our room was a few steps from the beach and the restaurant. Though they serve many delicious dishes, the free breakfast buffet was simple and not comparable to the breakfast served when you stay in a hotel. The day tour and island tour offered by the resort were reasonable in price but I still managed to find a cheaper one outside the resort. The driver we hired for the day tour looked like the late Filipino actor Rudy Fernandez but with lots of tattoos and earrings. Though he looked tough and mean, he was a sweetheart, funny and a true family man. We enjoyed his tour. (Never judge a book by its cover.) The resort offers plenty of Aquatic Sports you can avail. The resort has a small dog named Goliath. The dog can swim and snorkel. If only I can share my video. At night, they have an excellent band playing good music, rock, bossa nova, jazz, classic old songs. What a way to unwind and drink up. The resort is 3 kilometers away from Alona Beach where all the bars and restaurants are located. 20 minutes away from the airport and Tagbilaran City. This place is just wonderful. If Bohol (Panglao Island) is like Boracay, Dumaluan Beach is a station 1 resort. Alona beach is like Puerto Galera. Tagbilaran City is like Kalibo, Aklan.

It s the first time to visit Philippine , I guess this country was dirty before but change my mindset after stayed in south palms , it was a wonderful hotel Although Bohol was a bit far away to Cebu , if you want to select Bohol , you should accept it s far location. I took the business class for speed boat and it s nice I request for the resort shuttle for 1st day pier to resort and last day resort to pier, and when you need to go alona beach , you better prepare a local driver contact because resort shuttle was a bit experience , such as double and triple price This resort enjoy a excellent beach view and was clean and tidy , I stayed in the sea view villa and the room was big and nice , just need to walk 30 seconds to restaurant and walk 10 secs to the pool ... I remember it s the most expensive room for couple Our plan which included breakfast and dinner which was a delicious buffet with different meal everyday, the waiter welcoming was polite with warm smile , they could remember my surname and my favour . There was one point that I don't like , but I guess happened for all hotel in Philippine, they need to charge all every minor thing , and I expected some of them should included in service because I paid a high price ~ E.g resort shuttle to pier , every washing service.... Etc Finally , resort had provided a nice travel tour plan , but the price was high such as double when compare with alona beach , you can reach alona at the first night and seek for local boat supplier with a lower price It s the truth , I finally took the resort boat because I need service , privacy , 1 to 1 guard service to my wife in the sea , the guard was from the diving centre in resort which is professional and he was able to swim in the sea with is on big wave , which the local boat supplier won't do it ( my wife can't swim well) That's why It s worth for me to pay a double price , it s for your reference Thanks

We stay in the hotel from 12 July to 17 July. We choose this hotel as per the picture show and indeed, what you see in the picture does not justify how beautiful the hotel is in real. This holiday if for me and my Bf's anniversary and the staff makes it extra special as they gave us a complimentary cake for our Anniversary celebration. This may seems to be a small things but it does makes a lot of difference. I can say that this hotel is one of the best hotel we have been to. They have the most friendly staff that speaks good English and room itself is well maintained room. If i remembered correctly there was a room service twice to maintained your room. Breakfast is great as well. If you are planning to get this hotel make sure you have it with breakfast as their BF is buffet style and they have lots of variety to choose from. Take note, their breakfast do change every day! The location is somehow located in western part of Panglao Island, I suggest you communicate with the hotel when you will be arriving as they have a pick up service from Airport to hotel which is 30-40 mins drive. Dinner is ok but i suggest you go somewhere that is way much cheaper than the hotel price. We rented a scooter as well to go around. Scooter is cheap PHP500 for a day and pretty much decent. Easiest way to go around the island and go to main city. I remembered that 2 days before we check out, typhoon hit Philippines. I am amazed how Bohol is not that much affected with the typhoon although it does rain but not heavy. After going around the area through scooter, realizing that rain will not going to stop soon, we decided to go back to hotel and stay. Initially thought it was boring but although we are stuck in the hotel, there are so many things to do, go to gym, play indoor sport, play playstation. All are provided. Overall, i am very happy that we choose Bellevue Hotel and will highly recommend it for Family and couples who want to have a great beach holiday in Bohol.

What are the odds of finding a little gem in the heart of Panglao? Should I say I am or we are so lucky to have stayed at Panglao?!!! Yes, indeed. Let me elaborate, when we arrived the hotel, we were greeted by the lovely frontdesk. When the following morning came, we were greated by their lovely staff in the cafeteria. When evening came, we were astonished at how everyone is helping each other to finish their own tasks. Not one employee has lashed their eyes on us, all of them were so happy in greeting guests. I don't know whats up with this hotel that made us so so welcome and if we'd come back, we'd definitely stay with Greenfields. Thank you for the warmth, the happy memories and thank you to each one of your employees. From Manila to Bohol, THANK YOU GREENFIELDS.

Everything about this accommodation is excellent - from the shuttle service, resort maintenance to the staff’s hospitality. The location may not be beach front but this makes the resort far from all the noise and tourists. The pool and jacuzzi is always perfect for a dip. Since there are limited rooms, the place never felt crowded. The only downside was the two instances where we were not informed ahead of time that our initial order was not available. It took more than 20 minutes before the cook advised the server. The server should be made aware of the dishes not available for the day. Nonetheless, anything we got to order from the restaurant was delicious.

The hotel provided quality, personalized and friendly service but the hotel building need some improvements. For the money though, you're getting your bang for the buck. But then again, you get what you pay for. My first visit to the Philippines was over 2 years ago when the best resorts were the old strip on Alona Beach and which is why I chose this hotel that was fairly new, aesthetically pleasing, close to the dive shop we were booked with (Sinchun Divers) and what I thought was good for the price (relative to the older resorts on Alona Beach). I was shocked to find Bohol Island very developed since my last visit with improved streets and an awesome new resort called Hennan. Which by the way, (Hennan) is a great bargain to have a 5 star hotel for only $109 p/night. Had I known Bohol was this developed with brand new resorts at a fraction price what you'd pay in California, I would've booked it! South Beach Hotel is still good for the price. If you're looking for a clean place to sleep with decent service and don't need the amenities of a resort, this place is good for you. PROS: 1) You receive personalized service because this is a small hotel with only 8 rooms. It almost feels like a beach condo with hotel service. 2) Employees are very nice and friendly and their efforts to service you is so courteous enough to make you feel guilty. 3) The building is constantly being cleaned. 4) location to the beach and beach view 5) free shuttle service to Alona Beach 6) Good aesthetic. 7) you definitely get the bang for the buck. CONS: 1) water pressure in the building is bad. Didn't like standing in the shower with shampoo in your hair. 2) building construction is below standard. The structural and foundational built is weak (cracks in the walls and loose floor tiles) but the hotel invested on aesthetics. 3) other than their breakfast, their food and drinks are pretty bad. Don't expect a decent cocktail. 4) shower drain is bad

Pros. The owner are on hands with our needs and very accomodating and helpful. It was our 2nd.time to stayed in Conradas Place and its really amazing how the staff and owner is really lovely couple. Gave as every lil thing they cud possibly offer. Love the place quite away from the busy and noisy street, bed was great, everything in room works perfectly..and u feel safe with people around u..keep it up specially the toilet keep it away from any molds and dew Con.- its juz few walked from main street if ur not a walker person...but like us we love to walked at night. Surely u will love the place if u come to bohol try to visit and stayed to experience the peaceful ambiance. Thanks to all the staff and to Ms.Conradas and husband..surely will missed ur place.

The Good: 1. Location - As our final night's stay in Bohol, we've decided to book a room with Ocean Suites Boutique Hotel Bohol as it is more convenient to get to the airport from there than other hotels located in nearby Panglao Island. Ocean Suites is located just next to the Blood Compact Monument, and is overlooking Bohol Sea. 2. Room - We booked a spacious Premiere Ocean Suites, which is just next to the... 3. FREAKIN' INFINITY POOL!!! 4. Free transfer to/from the airport / seaport - This is available upon request. Just confirm your arrival or departure date and time with the friendly and playful receptionist team. 5. Friendly staff - They are everywhere! The Bad: 1. The annoying shower - It takes a minute or two for the water heater to respond, so I ended up scalding myself. No need to worry since everything was still under control. 2. No elevators - A word of advice... Better pack several small bags or suitcases when staying here. I brought along a big suitcase with all of our things in there and regretted it. I would recommend Ocean Suites to my travelling friends.

Was set to book at a different property after reading online reviews and decided to switch to B&B’s and on the site I was looking at Alona 42 came up, it looked like a hotel but was somehow listed incorrectly. Anyways it had great reviews and I booked it and oh how I’M GLAD I DID!!!! First off it is in a quiet area and only a very cheap ride to the central part of town (3 minutes). I stayed in their smallest (which was wonderful) to their top of the line apartment (an absolute bargain), the rooms are bright, clean, well appointed and very near the restaurant and office for any needs. The prices of everything were among the best I’ve ever seen. The free breakfast is on a menu so you actually have a choice which is better than the usual buffet line. The entire staff is extremely warm and accommodating. Now for the best, I had the pleasure of being almost “personally” taken care of by their one “person” show Gina whom almost runs the show, bar tends, takes food orders, arranges transportation, sets up dat trips etc etc! Gina is one of the few Filipinos I’ve met whom has been around the world and can give an “honest” opinion of all things PH and she didn’t steer me wrong in my stay at Alona 42, in my thirty years of world travel I have yet to encounter hospitality on this level, almost like a personal concierge!!!!

We loved our stay at the hotel. It’s walking distance to the beach and to the Center but unlike other hotels near the beach, the atmosphere in this hotel resort was quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the pool more than the actual beach especially the jacuzzi which was so inviting. Breakfast was also good! Will choose this hotel again if ever I get the chance to be back

I've been to Bohol several times in the past few years and I always choose to stay close to Alona Beach because it has that good balance of both relaxation, peace (with a gorgeous white sand beach), and a bit of fun and activity (not TOO quiet, boring or empty). The Amorita Resort is by far the best resort I've stayed at in Bohol - and I can say it could be one of the best in the Philippines as well. The layout, design and architecture of the resort on the cliff is like no other. The views are breathtaking and access to the white beach is just a few steps away via a secure staircase. The infinity pools are gorgeous and the decks offer a very nice place to get some sun for the day. The rooms are gorgeous. Industrial designed modern lofts that have minimalist fixtures and lavish bathrooms, and a huge balcony facing the garden view. The minibar is well stocked, free, and is replenished everyday. Food is definitely also a highlight, from the breakfast buffet to the ala carte specials (try the grilled pork chops!), while the bar offers a great buy-one-take-one happy hour deal from 3-7pm. There are many things to see and do on the resort itself (it's huge) like exploring the hidden cove, multiple infinity pools, table tennis, viewing decks, biking, and hammock spots to name a few. And the staff is very well-trained, helpful, and pleasant - they even leave you personalised notes each day in your room. I can go on more about this resort, but in the end, it's definitely worth the expense. I leave the rest to your experience. Highly recommended.

I decided to book at this resort because of its price. For a beachfront resort, it is very cheap. This is such a value for money. I saw a lot of reviews about the issue with the right of way. We decided to take the Dumaluan Beach entrance and it was not far at all. I understand that with baggage and all it could be hard to walk on the beach, but you can always ask for assistance from the staff. I'm 4 months pregnant and it was a quick 5 minute leisure walk for me. The room is okay, again for the price you shouldn't expect anything more. Didn't get the chance to try their food, we always go to Bohol Beach Club for the breakfast buffet (500/head). The beachfront is amazing, though not very good for swimming because the water is shallow. But it's very relaxing to stay and just relax the whole day on the beach chairs.

My wife and I were ambivalent about booking a room at such a nice resort during our two week voyage around the Philippines, but as we checked in and were escorted to our rooms, all of our anxiety peeled off like the ripe bananas they give every night. For what we paid (approx $275)/night, I expected a reasonably sized room, with a nice view of the beach, and a nice bed. What we got was a bungalow with a hot tub under palm trees, a great view, and a bathroom with windows that look out into a little nursery of plants and trees - nothing beats showering while looking at trees rather than tiles. Oh and a complimentary 30-min massage, and access to snorkeling and kayak gear. One thing that I would say was less than par - or maybe even just par - was the buffet food (but hey, also free!), which ranged from not-so-pleasant to meh. That was mitigated by the beautiful views from their dining area out to the open sea and the rest of beautiful Bohol, but it has to be said. But don't worry, take a 20-minute drive to the Bee Farm for lunch and you'll be a happy camper. Everyone working at the resort was very accommodating, willing to be flexible with us about tour plans too. Overall, I'm telling everyone and their mothers to try and come out here, and now I'm telling you! Go go go!!!

First off, having experienced roughing it out on most budget stay-ins...this is by far surprisingly a good, comfy place to snuck yourself into after a very hectic countryside travel adventures. Conveniently hidden in a residential community and near the ICM, airport, and the ferry station, this is a gem when you're going in and around in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. Breakfast is basic but good as it is included in your stay. Suffice it to say, we aer very happy at our stay :) nice interiors, sounds, and a water dispenser for those staying in the hotel is a nice touch. Only minor cons would only be about cleanliness as when we got there, we arrived earlier or the previous tenant checked out late, that the place was cleaned in a rush. Also, the place isn't fairly known, so i would suggest one directional signage from the main street would be an nice addition. But overall, we highly recommend this for the affordability, no-hassle helpful and quick service, for those needed some quiet comforts from the countryside adventures.

Arrived in tagbilaran by ferry and before even getting off we look out into the city and saw a building that was higher than the others. Had a hunch that it was the Belian hotel but wasn't sure. We were thinking that if it was that, then we had scored because it was very close to the port. As we exited the port, it became clear that it was the hotel! So that was good. It is a walking distance , however, like anywhere in the Philippines, you get tricycle drivers who would persist in taking you somewhere. And since it was hot and we were tired, we did ride the tricycle. Also saved us from having to carry out luggages. First impression of the hotel - very clean and modern. Especially for something in the province! They provided welcome drinks and the staff were very polite and helpful - we hadn't been to Bohol before and they were helpful in giving us directions and tours. Room was very clean too and so was the bathroom. They were both very spacious for two people. I requested for a late checkout over the phone as we were running late coming back from panglao island. But they were strict on this because they were apparently booked out. Came back to the hotel and we couldn't access the room with our key even with our luggages still inside. Had to go back to reception to ask for the key to be resetted. It was understandable that they couldn't let us check out late because it's booked for after but I would have appreciated it if they tried to understand that we only needed an extra 15 mins since we were to catch a ferry right after anyway. Instead she turned me down straight away. Also there were heaps of people who checked out even later than us. It was a very pleasant stay and good value for money. Another plus is they actually have a free shuttle service to the port so we were able to avail that. Just disappointing that we hadn't known when we arrived and had to spend money on a tricycle.

We had a very nice stay at this resort and would return anytime! We liked everything from the airport welcome to the departure so we highly recommend it. We stayed for 6 nights and had free private transport from the airport offered by the hotel but the regular price for the transport is also fair. The hotel is about half an hour ride from the airport. The resort is quiet and sparkling clean, rooms are huge, lovely and very well equipped (description on their website is very accurate). They also provide pool towels that can be changed whenever you wish. We had room #1 which was the best room in the resort for us (because of the location, right at the pool!) but as far as I could see the rest of the rooms were just as nice. The “infinity”-pool was perfect size, cleaned regularly with a good water temperature (the pool is important as you cannot enter the sea because of the algae), the beach chairs are freely available, the bar has everything you might want and Rey makes very good cocktails! The restaurant has a very varied menu and their cooks are good! For the 7 days with 2 people we never ordered the same thing twice and we didn’t find anything we didn’t like. We did not even get to the pizza/pasta section but we bet those were just as good. Don't even get me started on the beautiful sunsets... We also went in tours arranged by the hotel (Wonders of Bohol tour and Island hopping/Dolphin watching) and everything was smooth and nice at a decent price. This is a perfect place in Bohol, away from the crowds and the noise but still close if you wish to visit Alona Beach. Thank you Rey, Charlie and the rest of the blue-gang for the wonderful stay!

This is the first time for me to write a review ever. Usually I don't care but I feel that this hotel really deserve it. The staff were more than supportive. We asked to move to another cottage with better view and we were transferred there with ease even that it seemed bigger and better from the inside. the hotel has the best view to enjoy especially the pool. You could just relaxed there and enjoy the place. It also only have few cottages (around 5) which give it a sense of privacy . The staff were more than helping and you would feel like at home. Patti (I hope I spelled it right) has welcomed us in the morning with a warm smile and gave us suggestions about where to go. We then went in a tour afterwards with her brother Sunny to chocolate hills ,the zip-line and we had our lunch at the floating restaurant. The next day went to the other side of the hotel towards the beach. We visited the caves and the fireflies. We also accompanied Sunny to the roosters fight. It was crazy and fun and very crowded. Sunny is a great guy and very welcoming. He is very friendly, more than helpful, has good backgrounds and very honest. He is someone who you could trust and I would miss his company. Since we really enjoyed it , we extended our stay to another day so we stayed there for 3 days in total. They gave us a big discount without us even asking. This really shows the kind of people you are dealing with. If I come back to Bohol, I would definitely stay at this hotel. I will miss the place and more importantly the people there. To all the staff of the hotel, thank you for making my vacation to Philippine more beautiful.

Perfect place. Very good food, well presented and reasonably priced. Great happy hour for cocktails - 2.5 hours free flow for 450 pesos. And they taste good! Buffet breakfast is a good choice to start the day. The hotel looks brand new everywhere. This is a place to relax. Awesome beach and it is cleaned every day which was nice to see. The first 100 meters are very very shallow. A nice touch is that they put cookies on the bed each night. They are wrapped however, it still attracts ants and one out of three nights the pillows had around 30-50 ants when we came back. Renting diving or snorkeling kit is very expensive. Better bring your own. A 20 minutes free glass-bottom boat tour is included when you are a hotel guest. It is good to take it so you know where to snorkel or dive. We first went to Balicasag Island which has a great reef (see my other review). After seeing the Bohol Beach Club reef from the boat I didn't bother to snorkel here. Just enjoy the beach it self. Crystal clear water. Booking tours at the hotel is also expensive. It is much better to book a day sightseeing trip in Bohol at Alona beach. The day trips usually stop for a 1 hour river cruise including lunch, this cruise costs 1000 pesos. This is a complete waste of time and money. There is nothing to see from the boat and the food on this boat was the worst I ever had in the Philippines. Tourist trap. The Filipinos on the boat seem to have enjoyed themselves much more than I did.

Really enjoyed out stay at Positano! Highly recommend. Staff went above and beyond to accomodate for us and were super friendly. Location is perfect, Alona Beach and the town centre is a simple 5 minute walk if that- away from the hustle of Alona Beach but still very close. The ladies at the front desk organised our countryside tour, scooter rental and transport to and from the city-Everything and anything we needed! All arrived at reception and they insisted on carrying our bags. Cold water was bought to us every time we arrived back to our room! Place was super clean and room was serviced daily. Breakfast was exactly what we wanted and cheap. Bacon eggs and fresh fruits. Discount at local Italian restaurants also a plus and security every night at the gates. Felt very safe and comfortable! Cant not fault Positano in particular the staff- AWESOME stay :-)

We had a great time here! This was our first time visiting the Philippines and we stayed in all sorts of other places before Cliffside. And, we have to say that this was by far the best place we have stayed in. The location is fantastic, the staff is very very friendly, there is a pool table and pool to relax in and the ocean is steps away. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and want a chance to have some solitude. I would give Cliffside Resort 10 stars if I could, an awesome stay we will come back!

I came as a solo backpacker with the intention of only staying one night but loved the environment so much i stood 6. Ken is a great dude and was so helpful with giving information about bohol, and lyn is a sweet and beautiful receptionist / bartender . If your on the fence about this place dont be its amazing just book it . I plan on visiting the Philippines again in the future and when i come back this is where im staying . 10 out of 10 .
