"First ever hotel we stayed that goes an extra mile for their guests. Notable examples include: - good room/furniture layout. - proper designed kitchen (you don't bang your head when cooking). - laundry basket in the room (laundry use is free but you have to buy wash tablets or bring your own). - 24h complementary bar that offers tea, coffee, sparkling water and still water. - evening reception from Monday-Wednesday with free drinks and nibbles for people to social. Definitely our first choice next time to Newcastle."

Dream Apartments Quayside
City Center and Grainger Town,Newcastle-upon-Tyne - View on map
"Decent location for the quayside but this is a dated and really badly designed apartment block. We were kept awake by noise from the flat above until 4am. The apartment we stayed in was not like the photos online. I had to authorise £250 damage deposit on my card when we arrived. The walls are scuffed from lots of good times(!), there are iron and hair straightener marks on the carpet, the apartment is mainly corridor, windows are small and the rooms are grey so it feels dark. Fine for a group of friends partying but not great for a young family. We are a family of 4 but there are 3 chairs at the table and only 1 fork...and to add insult to injury parking is double the cost elsewhere locally. Not dreamy. I would not come again or recommend to a friend. "

"Although this property is not in the city centre, it’s only a £5 Uber from the centre. Free parking is also a bonus. I’ll definitely be returning"

"A must stay hotel. Great location for all pubs and restaurants in Newcastle City centre Near to the train station In the middle of an up and coming trendy area of the city Staff very helpful and friendly The rooms are on trend and smartly decorated and ours had two flat screen TVs, one in the living area and one in the bedroom and an Apple PC in the small office area all connected up to the web Kitchenette well equipped with everything you could need, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and sponges and tea towels supplied so no need to bring your own For an apart hotel the breakfast selection was just right, croissants, pain au chocolat and fruit. Free tea and coffee all day from the Rijo machine"

The Vermont ApartHotel
Quayside,Newcastle-upon-Tyne - View on map
"The "free parking" is about 3 blocks away and is not affiliated with the hotel in any way. It is free for anyone from 5pm to 8am. If you don't want to pay anything, you'll have to move the car by 8am. Or, if you want to leave it after 8am, you'll need to show up between 7-8 am to grab a ticket. I am uncertain if you can grab a ticket at night to avoid having to return before 8am. Another thing to be aware of is that the hotel is in a restricted zone (cabs only), so don't drive to the hotel first unless you are willing to risk being ticketed- go direct to the parking garage and pull your luggage back to the hotel.
