Traveler impressions of Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh)
There is not much to do there,,nice beach But no chairs or humbrella for the sun,,maybe if you go in a ressort they have,,But did not see any place yet like that place for the gentel people.
One of the most friendly coastal areas in Vietnam. Still relatively untouched by mass tourism, I would definitively recommend visiting Binh Dinh province!
many historical attractivenesses, but most of them away from city. would recommend travel with car and ask local to try local foods at each place you visit
If you are looking for culture/history and beaches....yes, it is. there are few Thap (Pagoda) within Quy Nhon.
although this city is fairly spread out we found it easy to find our way around. Its a bit off the beaten track for tourists , well worth the effort of getting there .
The Cham towers were very beautifully kept. The main pagoda is an impressive place. If you have the energy go for a walk to the far end of the beach (to the left as you look out to sea) and wander around the fishing harbour.
Get seafood along the beach. Go swimming. Buy a banh mi and people watch. Watch the fishermen. At night, look across Quy Nhon Bay and you will see thousands of fishing lights - a sight to see.
There are not so many private cars on thr roads here so it is easy to travel around. There are some very good and clear local cafes in town.
The bay and the beaches are very beautiful. There is a cham temple north of Quy Nhon which is nice to visit.
This is the small city but around location there are a lot of traditional villages and many infinite view !
This is not a tourist destination but that is the beauty of it we were the only tourists in hotel, no beggers no hawkers no hassle just a great place not spoilt by tourism food and drink for nothing amazing beach more resturants & bars you would need large beer 8000 meal 20000 we stayed here for 8 days & met one other guy from Holland & he agreed how good it was to not have tourists we left Nha Trang after 2 days a hell hole full of concrete & Russians found Quy Nhon it made our trip to Vietnam perfect
less touristic but worth to visit. quite relaxing with its characters found everywhere, and nice people to to get along with.
The place was lovely, pele friendly but didn't think there was much more to do than walk along the beach
The city is very calm and probably not worth a visit if you stay only two weeks in Vietnam. But if you have more time, it's a good break from all the too-touristy places (Hue, Hoi An) nearby.
Quy Nhon is a bit of a concrete town but the beach is a saving grace - very few westerners and no western food outlets apart from KFC in the one large supermarket we found and that was hardly digestable.
Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh)'s best hotels with breakfast

Pros : I like the design of hotel, room is big, bathroom is also big. Beach view is quite nice from zone 2. International breakfast is good Cons: location is far from Quy Nhon center , but close to Eo Gio and Ky Co . They also have free bus to city center. Restaurants at Eo Gio have free pick up and drop off at FLC when you want to have lunch or dinner at Eo Gio, Goo...

The tissue box chipping off a little bit on the bottom and we didn’t know about it and they try to find prove the we did it. But we were trying to rush out to the airport. I end up paying them in order for them to release up. I smashed the tissue box in front of them before I left.

Crown Retreat is situated north of Quy Nhon in a very quiet spot next to the beach. It's perfect for peace, quiet & total relaxation, esp after a fe hectic days in Saigon. We got an excellent deal which was real value for money. The chalets are spacious & clean, with very comfortable beds & good AC & strong wifi. The views from the Chalets on to the South Chine Sea are...

We stayed 4 nights at the Seagull Hotel in beautiful Quy Nhon, which is a gloriously spacious seaside resort, quite surprising for Vietnam. I would go there in preference to Nha Trang any time! The hotel is right on the beach, and a beautiful open, sandy beach it is! From the outside the Seagull is a fairly typical-looking highrise hotel but has quite a quirky atmosphe...

We loved the Life wellness resort in Quy Nhon. It is situated in a beautiful bay (water and beach much cleaner and nicer than on the beach strip in Quy Nhon). The resort is very well maintained (beach, garden, restaurant, pool). From the pool you can overlook the beach. By the way: from every room's shower you can overlook the beach as well (best shower I ever had!). T...

FLC Quy Nhon exceeded my expectation. It has amazing beach and great services (free pick up from villa to anywhere inside the resort, staffs are very friendly and helpful). What can be better: 1. Spa service is of premium charge, however, the quality of massage and support is not that great 2. FLC offers discount for credit card users (15% for Citibank), however it w...

1. This hotel has great views where you could basically see the whole city lies next to the beach. I could not get over the gorgeous decorations and wood furnitures. It gives you a very cozy yet fancy feels. The staffs were lovely as well, they were informative and lend me a portable charger 🤣 Not to mention the Karaoke rooms here! However, the hotel hasn’t provid...

I stayed at O.SIX in January and because of this the resort was completely empty. Me and my friend were the only guests. Despite this fact we still got lousy service. Our room was filled with ants and other insects. We got help with changing rooms but the new room also had ants. When we wanted to check out in advance after just one night the staff were not very helpful...

Well you get what you pay for, great hotel. The previous day we had a breakdown with our motorcyclrr. The staff ware very accomidating with moving our booking by one day (Nhuquinh was amazing.)
