"The location was great and staff were great too. The rooms are small and basic which is to be expected in London but great location for the concert we were attending in Hyde Park. There is no air-conditioning which would be desirable in the hot summer evenings but we were provided with a fan. Not fantastic value for money as prices were raised due to the events on in Hyde Park but having said that it was clean and location was good so I would stay here again and would recommend it on that basis "

"Easy to find hotel and good location. Pleasantly surprised by the presence of a MAYBANK ATM machine in Lobby. I booked a Dbl Studio Room for that extra space which included a sofa and dining table and a kitchenette. Room was comfortable considering it was London. Few minutes walk to Bayswater and Queensway Tube stations, restaurants, pubs, cafes and shopping mall. Very convenient by bus or tube to shopping in Oxford and Bond Streets, Picadally and Harrods. Walking distance to Hyde Park and only a few stations away to Portobello Market and Westfield. For Asians visiting London, there are Chinese restaurants and even one Halal Chinese Restaurant managed by Malaysians called Noodle Oodle near Bayswater Station. Supermarkets and Pharmacies nearby as well Check-in is normally at 2.30pm and check-out at 12noon. So if you arrive in the morning, leave your luggage in Hotel and start exploring the area!"

"Excellent stay. Great Location. Shops just around the corner. So is Paddington underground. We walked to Hyde park so close again. Parking was £15/day so that's good value for central london. Good modern refurbished rooms. Ours was a triple so spacious for central london. Well thought out for space etc. Would go back."

The Capital Hotel, Apartments & Townhouse

"Our stay was good. The hotel offers good location for shopping. Harrods is about 50m away. Sloan St boutiques (most top brands) are from 5 min to 20 min walk.Train is near, just a few minutes walk. Taxis are plenty by Harrods or the hotel staff could help get one always. The hotel staffs are courteous and polite. Room a bit smallish but typical to UK and Europe sizes. Nothing to shout about the room but it has all necessary to provide for good stay i.e. mini bar, kettle for boiling water, glasses, toiletries, ironing board, even umbrella. The rooms has free internet access which is great for staying connected. The lobby is small but as the hotel is a small luxury boutique style, it is sufficiently effective. The elevator is not big, can fit about 4-5 people at one time. if you choose to have breakfast or coffee outside, there is Gran Cafe right in front of Harrods just 40m from hotel. The food is nice."

Assaha Hyde Park Apartments

"I think this place was a steal for the price I had to pay for it - something that even the gentleman at the reception admitted :-). The room is a bit small but cozy enough. The room was very well equipped - had a microwave and a kettle to boil water. The potable water tap was nicely marked. The bathroom was clean and nice. The real advantage is that this hotel is just about 50 yards from the Lancaster Gate tube station. One can just get out and stroll down the Hyde park towards Buckingham palace. Another couple of klicks and one can just walk down to Trafalgar square or to the London Eye. There were a few points that I noted that the hotel could improve upon: 1.) The heater is adjacent to the bed and does not heat the room as much as I had seen in other hotels. Its a bit slow to warm the room up. 2.) The heater being next to the bed can potentially either burn the bed mattresses or the person sleeping on it. 3.) The mattress was a spring based one which made it a bit more like a hammock to sleep on. 4.) The WiFi access is a bit flaky. It keeps getting disconnected every once a while and one needs to disconnect and reconnect the device to get the connection back."

Native Hyde Park

"GN Hyde Park is in a fantastic location. In between the Lancaster Gate and Paddington tube stations, moving around is easy. Hyde Park is a stone's throw away, and a short walk or a single tube stop in each direction will have you at either Bayswater for the fantastic food options, or Oxford St for the equally fantastic shopping options. The apartment itself is comfortable, we got the top floor single bedroom suite. Apartments are well appointed and executed. Complete kitchen facilities provided, with quality Bosch appliances. Very good choice for small families that require an extra bed. This place is highly recommended and we managed to get it at a very competitive price with Agoda's special deal, and the stay was very enjoyable."

Kensington Court ApartHotel

"We got a big room on first floor. Very practical with small kitchen, but you should not be too bothered about cleanliness. The beds were clean and the toilet, but the rest was not so clean (to say the least). It is a charming hotel in a quiet area, close to High Street Kensington tube station, good shopping street, restaurants and close to Hyde Park and Notting Hill. It's run by two distinguished elderly men. The hotel would be fantastic with some serious restoration (or at least good cleaning). With good cleaning and a bed matress on top of the string matress of the beds I would rate the hotel at least three stars. Wifi worked ok in the room. Small flatscreen TV with many channels, iron and iron board, hair drier. Thin walls, but other guests not noisy. "

Native Mayfair
Hyde Park,Hyde Park - View on map
"I travel to London on biz with my boyfriend and our baby, so I normally take a serviced apt for the space and kitchen facilities. Go Native Mayfair has been one of the best so far, with great central location (mins to restaurants in Mayfair and Oxford St, Selfridges, two tube stations) and Hyde Park. The apt was a little hard to find at first, but look out for the art gallery downstairs (featured in one of the pics) and that be a good guide. The rooms are serviced daily, kitchen was brand new and furniture was comfortable enough, although lacked all the soft furnishings shown in pics. Also, the toilet roll holder broke, as it was angled right behind the toilet seat, so that was a tad odd... I gave a 'satisfactory' mark for 'staff' as we didnt meet any at all throughout the stay, and we didnt have any reason to call them either."

"I enjoyed my stay in Hyde Park Apartments. I thought it would be located near Inverness Terrace but that was just the check-in area. It is located near Paddington station which serves the brown line. It requires one to walk to the tube station and although it is equidistant to three tube stations, it is by far no means near. Needs a 10 minute walk. That was the only gripe. The distance from the Tube, the convenience store and the main roads. But the amenities in the hotel were great. It was clean, the interiors were nicely furnished, Wifi worked well, beddings regularly changed, staff were polite. Basically, now that I am orientated as to its location, I would definitely come back."
