Great option if you want to be in Soho”
I’ve stayed here twice now, a few days each time. Perfect if you want to be in soho/short walk to shueng wan. Fairly priced. Clean. Tele has some English-speaking channels. I’ve also stayed at the Ritz (in TST). While the Ritz has amazing views (and high luxury) it’s not in as lively an area as Sharma.

Worst experience, period.”
Rooms came with 2 300ml bottles of water and wanted to charge me $10/bottle for the third bottle when it costs $16/bottle at 7/11 for 1 litre, housekeeping came into my room to check the status of the room when it isnt even time for checkout yet and the services are generally bad which was frustrating but yeah, worst staycation experience ever tbh.

Great serviced apartment in a great location”
One bedroom apartment was really generously sized, particularly by Hong Kong standards. The kitchen is extremely small, but everything else was roomy, with a lounge that could be closed off from the dining area, a really spacious bathroom with an amazing shower, and a good sized bedroom with lots of storage. Lower floors can feel a little gloomy. In addition, getting heavy luggage down to and/back up from the building is a little tricky as it's a very steep one way street where cars typically don't go. Location is amazing, about 20 metres down the hill (north) of Hollywood Road, close to all the bars and restaurants of both Central and Soho.

The way to go in HK”
Hong Kong is notorious for micro-sized hotel rooms or at least you'd have to give an arm and a leg for a properly sized room in the bigger chain hotels. IF you don't mind not having the typical hotel amenities or proper room service, then stay here. You will get an extremely spacious room at practically half the price. Although the hotel's location is comparatively obscure for first-time visitors to HK, its location is actually quite strategic with easy access to the SOHO restaurants and you can easily walk to HK Central. So if you need a cozy place to stay, I would recommend going staying at SOHO.

My first choice of staying in HongKong.”
Shama apartments will always be our first choice. It's fairly spacious compare with all the other hotels in HK. Few minutes walking downhill to central mtr station. When going back to hotel just take the escalator. It's so easy. Even when we have a baby in stroller to push around it's easy. A little market right downstairs. You can buy flowers, vegetables, meat, fruits, seafood. The Indian restaurant opposite of the apartment building is a must try. Especially the butter chicken.

My friends and I travel to HK at least once a year. Having stayed mostly in Causeway Bay, we were impressed by the size of the room in Shama Central and the friendly staff. They were extremely helpful and thoughtful. The hotel is situated mid-slope so it would be a pain lugging the luggages up/ down slope. However, the hotel staff assisted us and called for a taxi and bring our bags down (9 large luggages) all done with a smile. The hotel was also walking distance to many shops and yummy eateries/ restaurants. We will definitely be back again.

Nice Big Room which is rare in Hong Kong ”
This is a rare big room that you can find in Hong Kong. Although the location is a bit difficult to find if you are not a local, it is still situated in the middle of the city, which is only 10 minutes walk to LKF, the most popular nightlife area in Hong Kong.

comfortable,affordable central location”
We are a senior active couple on our first visit to HK. We wanted a clean, central location with some cooking facilities and Shama met our requirements. The apartments are located in a side street just off the fresh wet market , near the escalators ,v important if you like walking around, with plenty of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. We were upgraded from a studio to 1 bedroomed apartment but on the 3rd floor which was a concern because of the noise. However although busy the side street has minimal vehicle traffic and was therefore remarkably quiet for such a central location. the staff were very helpful and offered good practical advice. The only drawback to the place would be if you have lots of luggage as the location even by taxi requires some walking up and down some seriously steep streets. We would stay again.

Room was simple but complete. Location was relatively okay right in the middle of Central Hong Kong. 5-10 mins walk to LKF and central station.

Home away from home”
Great sized service apartment in the heart of Central. A few small blocks away from the escalators and close to LKF. Slightly older than the newer rash of service apartments that have opened up in the last 3-4 years but very well maintained and serviced. Can't beat the price for this size in HK!

What a great surprise”
We were only staying for one night. The location was wonderful - down it's own quiet street, close to everything. For hotels in central, the room was huge. If you have time, there is a great Peruvian restaurant for brunch right next door.

Bliss”
The one bedroom apartment I had on the 20th floor had miles of room, a great view and ...a bath. Everything was laid out to perfection, everything worked, the building was quiet but so handy to everything that you'd need eg supermarket. They fully deserve the score I've given

Good hotel but awkward to get to”
Great stay in large 2 room apartment. Great area for food of all kinds, bars and nice boutiques. Cannot get to hotel directly by cab or road. Need to walk down peel street to entrance. Staff will come and help if u call them but best to be aware. Reception staff just stare rather than ask if they can help. Not so friendly. Big bathroom. Air con smelly. Tried to fix it but had to have it on 19 degrees so it didn't smell bad. Too cold.
