Suffocation problems”

By viewing the positive feedback i had made the booking with Sharia Rooms, Once we reach the room we made check-in and left the property, Once we back to take rest in the room we suffer from much suffocation as there is absence of windows in the rooms and the ventilation is not upto the level, After paying the full money we realise the issue and informed the property owner to arrange to solve the issue either by providing the small table fan, But owner of the property argued that none of the properties in kodaikanal don't have the fan facility and he asked me to pay the amount for the Purchase of table fan if i need which is quite strange. Finally my review for the property is 2/5 with below reasons. 1. Property located in the downhills, So it is difficult to load the luggages and drop to the room due to slippery way and no handrails in the stairs. 2. This property is Not suitable to stay with the small children and elder people due to following reasons. A. No windows available and not having proper ventilation which will leads to Suffocation. B. Due to slippering way to the property the guests will get tired and have to more caution while walking with the luggage stuffs. After explaining the suffocation problems to the owner, I had informed to him to arrange the refund where we make checkout on the first day itself, But he argued that he will refund only INR 1500 instead of INR 4500. Moreover he pay only the INR 1500. So my suggestion is it is more important to check the proper ventilation /Fan facilities in the property before making booking and paying the hard earned money to the properties which don't have the basic necessities.
