We stayed for two nights here and it was great. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We met NAT who helped us with further reservations and gave us a lot of good information. The breakfast is nice. The location is superb, surrounded by many restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

The night watchman was a really nice guy with impeccable english. The one thing you should be aware of is that it's really a hostel feel rather than a homestay. That's very minor but to me I enjoy the vietnamese home environment.

We loved this place, exceptional service from all the staff, very friendly atmosphere, comfy bed, hot showers, and simple yet tasty breakfast and cheap bike rental and they even sorted out transfers for us!

This place has been one of the best we have stayed at. The people working there are amazing and helped us with everything we needed, even booked a train ticket for us. We were in a private room which was very good and had a great price. The location is also amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Nice homestay and transport connection service”
Glad to stay with shark homestay. They have arranged motorbike rental and briefing on the attractions area to cover in Hue. This is good information for solo traveller like me.. They also connected me with the easy rider service which made my travel from hue to Hoi An journey more interesting. I continue to engage easy rider for my day tour to My Son... I will recommend above for solo traveler.

I stayed in a hostel dorm. I was there during the slower season so I was lucky and had the entire room to myself my first night. The owner was super nice and helpful. I forgot my shirt in the room after I left, and she even mailed it to Hanoi for me to pick up. :)

Overall a great hostel, the staff especiallyk9 were most helpful and friendly. Arrived really early at 6am and was allowed to check in early. The staff also immediately helped to book a city tour for the same day, which I really enjoyed. They also helped with booking a tour to the Dark Cave in Phong Nha as well as an easyrider trip from Hue to Da Nang - would highly recommend this, my guide Tau was the most thoughtful and made the ride a very pleasant one!

The hostel was clean, beds were decent, staff was really nice. Breakfast was nothing special, just okay. The one big negative was the blanket on your bed is literally as thin as a sheet...I froze. Other than that the stay was good.

Overall a good spot. Great location, everything was tidy and the air conditioning good. Staff are kind and helpful. Only thing to note is that the pictures are a bit deceiving - a bit more basic in real life.

Following are my unbiased opinion during my stay in the Shark Homestay: The staff was super friendly and helpful; the AC is awesome, bed is comfortable. The staff keep the homestay very clean. Motobike Rental is 150k in the city; I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone!

This hostel has everything you need for a backpacker, location is perfect and good breakfast is included. Rooms are ok for the price you pay. They welcome you with tea and a map to indicate the places you can visit. Also they offer buses and tours. I found really nice people in there!
