Excellent value hotel”
Booked as a late minute stay to go to the football with my husband. Nice easy 15-20 walk to Anfield from hotel. Beautiful old big building.Lovely big room, table and chairs and settee an added bonus. Very clean, tidy and well decorated. Didn't use the kitchen, but would be great for someone wanting a longer stay. Only very small minor points are the steps, which would be difficult for an elderly person, and traffic noise at the front, but then you are in Liverpool and not the countryside!! Overall was very pleasantly surprised and would certainly recommend.

I requested a large double bed but we got two single bed that was put together which made it very difficult as it keeps on moving. I almost fell in the middle of the bed as it moves. Otherwise the whole place is really clean. I don't know where to raise concern as there were no telephones to contact Beech Mount hotel regarding the issue about two single beds as the room I booked the photo showed a large double bed for a couple.

Good place to stay. ”
We had to go to the main hotel to pick the keys and codes which was of 10 min walk. Room we got was on top floor. It was clean and spacious with attached bathroom and kitchen alongside. The bad thing was that wifi was not working on top floor because router was on ground floor. And my children didn't want to compromise on this thing so we were moved to the Beech Mount Hotel ( the main hotel) . That family room was very good. Had no trouble. We enjoyed the stay. .

Shocking”
Terrible stay. No instructions received for accessing room (there is nobody on site, codes are needed to enter doors but not provided). Booked a triple room for 3 young girls and arrived to a twin room. Hotel manager would only offer us a single room in a hotel a 25 minute walk away- not suitable since we needed to stay together and keep safe. They wouldn't provide a mattress or a fold out bed or duvet so 1 of us could sleep comfortably on the floor. I ended up sleeping on the floor. Absolutely disgusting customer service, totally unacceptable. The hotel tried to blame agoda saying they sent a reservation for a double room only but agoda confirmed this was not the case. We travelled to Liverpool for a show for my birthday which we missed due to the mess up with the room. I would avoid this hotel like the plague!

Unable to access accommodation ”
Not informed by Agoda that we had to go to another address (beachmount hotel) to book into the accomadation that we had booked. So after passing the beachmount hotel and walking for 15 minutes to shiel suites only to find we could not get in. Number given by Agoda was wrong and unobtainable. After searching the internet to get a correct number to contact beachmount hotel was told had to walk 15 minutes back to where we started earlier. After moaning to staff at beachmount hotel they offered us a room there. Room at beachmount was adequate apart from working plugs for bedside lights. Tv useless and had to stand on a chair to plug kettle into only available socket that worked above a wardrobe. The staff were very good. Only other downside was me falling over on a wet cleaned floor that was not signed to say it was wet and slippery.

Was left scared after kids broke into suites”
Arrived Friday afternoon and by 7pm a group of around 30 kids broke into suites and partied all night long they kicked in front door and then kicked in 2 other room doors within the accommodation they then went to kick our door in but I went out to them. Rang staff at hotel that own the suites and they moved us to the hotel. Some of the staff went out of their way to help us and some didnt. They refunded my money but no amount of money can make up for the fact we were kept awake and kept hostage in our room all night incase they broke into our room. I had gone to Liverpool to watch them play I've been a fan since I was 8 and it was a life long dream that got ruined

on arrival we had to be told by strangers that you had to walk five minutes down the road of the hotel to get a key and code from manager as it was just a house divided into rooms with no staff there to greet you or no reception we walked into our room to find the care taker staying in it there were stains on top over the throwover on the bed, when we pulled back the quilt it looked like it had not been washed in months.the towels were black, the carpets were disgusting the drawers were full of broken and stake biscuits, the tea tray had spilt tea stains al over it, the room smelt awful, the toilet was full of feaces etc. we went to reception in the hotel and I do have to say the manager was absolutely disgusted he had no idea the care taker was living there he upgraded our room to one in the hotel for the same price and the room was great although we felt we should have had it for free to be honest. we will NEVER stay here again

the reception is in another hotel , about 800m away,no heating in the room in the beginning of October, luke warm waterin the shower , tv did not work. I called reception and was promised they would do something about the TV and heater - they never did. i was given wrong codes for front doors, so we couldnt enter the house for 20 min. To sum up : 3/10

The worst hotel in my life”
It is the worst and most terrible guesthouse that my family have ever stayed. All furnitures is old and the whole room is extremely dirty that we cannot walk without socks. No codes for open the room was sent to us and no receptionist over the hotel.We have tried so long to make many calls to the number on the sign outside the hotel under the very cold wind ourdoor. It is our worst stay night in Liverpool.

The apartment was clean and warm”
The inconvenience was that when we arrived at the given adress we found out that there were only the apartments and the reception was like 15 minutes walk distance, in a hotel. So we had to go there to do the check in.

dirty rooms! hard and bad beds! noo hotwater. Mold in kettle. half a centimeter with dust on the lamp thats hang over the bed. couple of peaople smoked canabis outside the hotel and walking with a joint behinde the ear. bad service. very unprofesional. The whole place is a shame for Liverpool as a City.

The room stank of stale cigarette smoke which was horrible and we couldn't get the shower to work but luckily there was a shared bathroom that we could use. There was also no reception and we went not told that we would have to call to get a code to the front door or our room. This was given to us when we called the main number but would have been good to know before we arrived in the dark trying to locate the reception!

doesn't tell you on website you have to go to the sister property to check in. On getting in the building the internal lighting wasn't working and we had to go upstairs in the dark. also the milks with the tea and coffee had gone off and were solid and unusable
