One friend told me when he arrived here he thought he'd arrived in heaven. He was pretty much right. Beautiful complex on a wonderful site, kind and fantastically helpful staff. Great winning pool and the food at the reef and the beach bar was second to none. A fantastic stay and I'll be back as soon as I can

We are returning guests and booked this time via Agoda (booking.com) an 2 bedroom apartment, low floor and view to the Golf court. There are maybe not thousands of them, so we had to wait till normal check in time. But all kids had been put into the childcare so no bad feelings about waiting at the beach with cool drinks. The late check out was appreciated and made up the waiting time at check in. Always reoccurring at Deva is misinformation between staff members. Only one thing bothered me really this time. The price for the unit was some 61.000 cfp. At the end of Agodas booking procedure stood a final of 63.000 cfp. Then it was stated that in this new price would be gov. tax included and at the resort would again one time service charge be billed. That already made me grumpy. At the resort it became a bit ridiculous at check out when they wanted to ad not one but 2 taxes again. So from announced 61.000 cfp it became on check out 65.700cfp ! I refused and the bill was corrected.

Not to Sheraton standard”
Pro's: Beautiful location. Lovely staff. Sand bar for lunch is great. Suggest booking. Con's: Wifi very very patchy. Took four calls trying to log in to then be told it was not working - no timeframe on when it would be.. Not enough staff, waiting 50 minutes after ordering lunch to then be told they'd run out of the menu item I'd ordered. No room service or minibar. Bring snacks. (Full size fridge & good small kitchen in room) Not enough staff at the pool - drinks took 45 minutes from ordering. At one point there was a 40 minute wait for a pool towel.. The Restaurant did not have an a la carte option for dinner - was buffet every night. Buffet was excessively expensive and not great. Limited salads and it's hardly reasonable to pay 9900XPF for my children to eat mac and cheese and frites.. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. Staff did their best but management had obviously not planned well enough for adequate staffing over the peak holiday period.

The beach is not nice and full of sea grass. There is not much to do and you could only stay 1-2 nights otherwise you would be very bored. The hotel itself is very overpriced for what you get. from both the hotel and room itself as also the restaurant. It doesn't even have a barista coffee for breakfast. The food buffet was overrun by birds and too disgusting therefore to eat. The location itself was remote but fine and the hotel in general nice but again, compared to others very overpriced.

Perfect place for R&R”
I loved the friendliness of the staff, they really made us welcome during our stay - especially the pool staff who were so busy over the weekend! Te bungalows were beautiful and golf course world class but there isn't a whole lot to do aside from golf and lie by the pool which was fine by us. The whole environment was very tranquil, it was perfect for us as a grown up family who desperately needed some rest and relaxation. The beach however was not very swimable which was the only major downside.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights over Christmas. The room was large and spacious with a lovely verandah. The pool is large and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was nice however servings were on the small size for the price. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Séjour agréable mais pas à la hauteur d'un hôtel de luxe ”
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au Sheraton de Deva. Le cadre est magnifique cependant certains points mériteraient d'être améliorés au vu des tarifs proposés par l'hôtel et de l’image donnée par le Sheraton. La chambre : - L'adapteur de la bouilloire HS la rendant inutilisable - La TV ne fonctionnait pas - Dans la douche le savon pour le corps était vide - De nombreuses taches sur les tissus des mobiliers - Ménage approximative (de la poussière) - Le nouveau testament dans le tiroir du bureau. Un oubli du précédent client ? - Pas de sèche-cheveux - Le deck de la terrasse + palissade mériteraient un bon coup de lasure. Nous avons apprécié les buffets du pdj. Salle de réception agréable mais si on s'attarde un peu sur les détails; nous pouvons apercevoir de nombreuses traces de défections d'oiseaux, de la poussière sur le dessus de la machine à café, pas ou plus de jus de fruit frais, etc. Concernant, le buffet du dîner. Nous nous sommes présentés aux alentours de 18:45, n'ayant pas réservé on nous demande de revenir à 20:00 pour le deuxième service. Ce qui est tout à fait compréhensif. Cependant, déception : 20:45 plus de dessert. Le personnel est globalement agréable mais nous avons l'impression que celui n'a pas été formé à la hauteur du service que nous nous attendons à avoir dans un hôtel dit de luxe. Quelques exemples : - Le service des boissons : commander une Margarita à la piscine et être servi dans un verre type verre à eau en pastique. Grosse déception. Commander un bon whisky, celui-ci n’est pas servi dans un verre à whisky et nous est servi avec un verre de coca. Ce n’est pas grand-chose, il suffit de demander au client comment il souhaite boire son whisky … - Se rendre à la réception afin d’avoir les horaires d’ouverture du spa. Pas de réponse, on nous donne simplement le dépliant du spa que nous devons feuilleter. Quand on insiste en demandant simplement à connaître les horaires on nous répond « je ne sais pas » Nous pouvons tout à fait

Accueil plus que limite aucunes informations nous ont été données. Aucun cocktail de bienvenue contrairement aux autres hôtels que nous avons pu faire et de catégorie inférieure ! L hôtel est en travaux cela nous a pas été dis lors de la réservation, top pour le calme... Beaucoup de coupure internet. L'équipement cuisine euh kitchenette laisse vraiment à désirer. Honnêtement nous ne reviendrons pas ! Les prix des boissons et repas à l'hôtel sont plus que cher .
