Staying at Shimizu Ryokan was a very nice experience. The owner and staffs are super kind, friendly and helpful, the environment is quiet with beautiful nature, the room is traditional Japanese style and super large, traditional Japanese food is tasty. Public hot spring is very unique and the private one is also nice. Though the location is a bit far from the town, the van transfer service at Yunohira station is very convenient. We enjoyed everything here. This is the best hotel experience I ever have. Highly recommend!

Unique Cave Onsen Experience”

This onsen is located in a secluded area 20 minutes drive from the main town Yufuin, a place where you find peace and quietness next to the flowing river with a unique cave onsen experience and enjoy the very hospitable and kind host in a traditional ryokan.

Staff were very friendly, the ryokan was located in a very peaceful and quiet area. Onsen was one of the best I've ever been. Cave onsen was spacious and water quality very good, highly recommend to anyone looking for a healing and relaxation stay

Everything of the hotel including the food are super nice, it’s one of the best accommodation I have ever stayed. The host was very nice that offering us pick up and drop off service (the location is a bit inconvenience if you haven’t got your own car). Would definitely recommend this place to family or couple ( the cave hot spring is so awesome! )

Good place to relax (癒し) and enjoy Japan living style”

Innkeepers are very friendly and well with English and Korean. Environment is quiet peaceful and no much complicate devices, therefore you can enjoy Japan life culture and relax. Meals are delicious and with fresh ingredient. Here do more COVID-19 preventions and therefore we are reassured (安心感) Hot spring is recommended to enjoy. Environment and water are very clean. Private room is available to pre-reserved.

The onsen in the cave was a wonderful experience! The room was huge and had a nice view over the river. The food was plentiful and fresh and some dishes very adventurous! The staff were so warm, kind and helpful.

素晴らしい洞窟温泉”

送迎から親切なおもてなしが始まっており、部屋は古いながらもとても清潔でとても居心地が良かったです。 ご飯も近隣の素材を使用したものが多くとても美味しく、ご飯会場の暖炉のゆったりとした雰囲気もありとても居心地が良かったです。 何より素晴らしかったのが温泉で、洞窟温泉は洗い場も暖かく灯りが幻想的でした。 熱くなってきたら露天風呂へ向かいまた落ち着いたら洞窟温泉とずっと入っていたくなる温泉でした。 もともと洞窟温泉に惹かれて予約をしたのですが、想像していた以上に素敵で由布院から足を伸ばすことにして良かったです。 落ち着いた雰囲気で温泉を楽しみたい人にオススメです。

旅館位於小川旁, 景色很美, 職員非常熱心, 而且老闆英語很好. 膳食無論食品和用餐地點也恰到好處, 令人覺得舒適 室外溫泉是小小的, 而且沒有景色, 比較普通, 但室內的大洞穴溫泉剛非常有趣, 而且很大 湯平不如由布丸般熱鬧, 而且交通沒那麼方便(旅館亦有車站接送, 今次我們是自駕所以沒問題), 但如果喜歡遠離繁喧想享受寧靜溫泉時刻, 會很推薦這旅館

·可以預約接駁，老闆很堅持自己要幫你拿行李，覺得很不好意思⋯真的是太貼心了！ ·房間很寬敞很溫馨，冬天有熱暖爐，共用溫泉也很棒，尤其是洞穴溫泉很讓人印象深刻。 ·用餐前記得先去溫泉街逛逛，還可以先跟旅館買溫泉券（旅館可刷卡）。 ·晚餐可預約用餐時段，用晚膳時女將還會一一解說每道菜，餐點都是當季新鮮食材，超級貼心👍🏻食物都很好吃😋 如果想到比較沒有人潮的地方渡假，這裡很推薦！
