This place is in a great location, near Food Market with lots of stalls, near Lee Jong Seob Street and Gallery, within walking distance to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, Saeyeingno bridge and Saesom Island sightseeing walk and Olle trails #6 and 7 are nearby. The staff are very polite, speak English well and are very professional. The rooms were clean, great water pressure and rooms have plenty of storage, fridge, washing machine and hair dryer.

Walkable to restaurants, beaches, tourist attractions, and bus lines -- but also in a smaller town that has lots of charm. I recommend spending a little extra for the ocean view room.

They’ve turned officetel rooms as hotel rooms. The room would benefit from a chair as it was hard to eat in the room. The building is fairly new so it was clean. If they opened the rooftop area it would have been much better but it would depend on the lockdown levels I suppose.

This is a budget hotel. So I didn’t expect much. But the bed. Was so hard. It was like sleeping on the floor. Even the pillows were uncomfortable. If you like hard beds go for it. But beware. I am not exaggerating when I say this bed was hard.

Depends on your Budget”
I had a free room upgrade (not sure why), though I am not complaining. For the price I paid, this hotel is definitely worth it, and it is conveniently accessible to many marts and streets for me to walk around in the day or even at night. However, I am extremely particular on the hygiene and cleanliness of my sleeping environment, which unfortunately this hotel does not meet my expectations. I cannot complain for its price, so I would recommend this to travellers who are really on a budget and does not mind some cleanliness issues (e.g. used toothbrush stuck in a drawer, yellowish floors, slightly dirty towels - which was not replaced during the room-making services, stains, etc). There were not much facilities nor view in the room, and it can be a little creepy at night while alone.

Basic hotel without the basic amenities ”
Pro: Good location near to good restaurants and the sea. Cons: The room looked clean at first but we were shocked to find a pair of dirty socks left in the cupboard and poop spots in the toilet bowl. There was no chair to sit on and a deposit was required when we requested for a chair.

Very disappointing. I paid for a Premier Ocean View room and asked for a room high up. I could barely see the ocean from my room over the buildings. Only high up rooms with a proper ocean view should be advertised as ocean view rooms. I basically paid extra for nothing. Also no removable toiletries in the room feels cheap.

Nice cozy and comfortable with complete facilities, but the staff dont speak english, had a hard time to communicate basic conversation. Luckily 1 staff was able to speak, and helpful, thanks to him. Overall strategic location as well.

Problematic SUV parking”
We rented an SUV and hence were not allowed to park inside their hotel due to limited parking lots/height restrictions (?). The receptionist told us to park on the side, along the street for free but the road was narrow & we had problems finding a lot. In the end, we realise there was a shared OUTDOOR PARKING SPACE for Shinshin hotel guests with SUVs with an attendant. They shd have pointed us directly there instead. Maybe things got lost in translation.

Too many Shinshin”
Car navigation cannot find the hotel and we end up at the wrong shinshin location.. when ask for direction on the car navigation address, staff point to a diff Shinshin hotel and say its correct.. ended up driving to another wrong Shinshin.. took 3 hrs of ding donging before finally getting to the right one after using the phone number as location finding.
