Can't beat the price”
This hotel is located steps from the Shin-Yokohama subway line (exit 7). It's positioned as well as the Grace and the Prince (if you're looking at those). It looks decent from the outside and, though a bit dated, it is nice inside. There's a restaurant on the top floor (the 14th) and a café in the lobby. There's a convenience store right behind the hotel and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were really good to us. They use a real key to open the door and you are encouraged to drop it off at the desk when you go out. The room size was good for the price but the bathroom was tiny. The only real complaint that I had was that the shower curtain smelled a bit musty. Not surprising, considering its mostly a sealed room. The price was so good for the area that we would stay here again, no question.

Easy access from Shin Yokohama.”
Very easy access to Shinkansen shin Yokohama station. I stayed there for a night to catch early morning Shinkansen. Great location. Staffs were friendly. Room were nice, clean and comfortable. Only negative was that the wall of the hotel were very thin so i heard my next door neighbors all night long. I am not a light sleeper but i woke up a few time from the noise. Still recommend for stay.

We've got 2 room in the 9th floor. Room quite big and clean, either bathroom. So many light makes the room bright, i like it. Never see Japan's room like that. The bad one is the AC, can't make warm in the room. Because the window's room can't hold the chill wind from outside get into the room. You have to always wear sweater if you are not in blanket. For environment, nearby Shin Yokohama station and there is subway next on the left hotel. About Breakfast, its really good because not just Japanese standard BF, but also have steam sup (contain of pork). I like it.

Great Location”
The hotel is literary across subway station and short walking distance to shin-yokohama station. It is also close to tourist places like ramen museum and parks. Moreso, staff were very accommodating and helpful.

The bed definitely needs to be replaced. However, the staff well made up for it. The location, 5 minutes away from the Shin-Yokohama Station, was a definite plus.

No Complaints!”
Very considerate staff! When we couldn't find our umbrella in the umbrella holder from the night before, and we figured we would just run to the convenience store across the street, the concierge ran after us and gave us an umbrella to take! It was very kind!

Great Location”
This hotel located above the subway station and 5 min from JR East station exit. The entrance of this hotel is facing the main street of Shin-Yokohama, In case it rains, taxi is waiting in front of the hotel. If you walk to the station, you easily catch the bullet trains. Also, the access to Haneda is so smooth. You only get on the limousine to the airport.

Nice hotel, breakfast dissapointing”
Hotel was good enough for 1 night. Little dated, walls seemed a little thin. Do not recommend breakfast as it is served at another hotel (manor house) a short walk away. We had to stand in a queue for 25 minutes. The restaurant there is probably too small to serve their own guests let alone other hotels. If you stay here do not select breakfast option there are close by restaurants that are a better option

There were no problem for my staying and experience was good generally except swimming pool which is not included in the room fee. And it was quite congested at the time of my stay.

I booked a non smoking room on Agoda but was given a smoking. The hotel staff claimed that a smoking was booked. The room carpet and wallpaper both had tears. The sofa material was synthetic. The fridge and sockets were not working when we arrived due to a broken fuse. Not at the deluxe room advertised and expected for HKD 3,000 plus a night. On the plus side we were allowed a late check out at no extra charge and the staff member who attended the broken fuse was polite and efficient.

wall thickness is thin and can hear neighbors noises, wall is dirty ”
small variation of breakfast can easily hear noise from outside, maybe window frame has some gap. windy day will be more noisy. wifi is not impossible to catch. front desk just excuse it due to many people using, unacceptable excuse. i have stayed many hotels by business, but this hotel is categorized poor level. i will not choose again. and never recommend if you want to get peaceful sleep

Great value for the money”
Great experience at Shinyokohama Kokusai. Friendly staff (who spoke English to me only after they realized I was a foreigner ... i didn't mind!).The hotel is extremely close to Shin-Yokohama and easy to find. Lots of food nearby. I didn't eat the food at the hotel myself, but it seemed pretty good from the smell. I would stay at this hotel again if I was looking to be in Yokohama area.

Clean, Compact, Efficient to transportation”
I spent one night here to avoid staying in central Tokyo after traveling from the Southern Japan using the Shinkansen trains on my way to Narita for a flight home. The hotel was very reasonably priced and the location and staff were great. The hotel was 1.5 blocks from Shinyokohama and the subway to Yokohama station for the Narita Express train was across the street. The Ramen Museum and many restaurants were very close by and there were multiple choices for breakfast, all very reasonably priced. The room was small, but used the space very efficiently.

This is a decent business hotel located barely 5 minutes from the shin-yokohama train station. That being said, amenities are focused with efficiency in mind. Room size is small as per typical urban Japanese setting, but nevertheless comfortable, even for two persons. Staff can speak some basic English and will try to assist requests from foreigners. Location is great for staying near to a Shinkansen station, but still capable of commuting within Yokohama city in general.
