We had some trouble communicating to the staff in English but managed to finally let them understand what we need and all was well. I misunderstood that the room I booked has shower room from the photos I see. When I checked in, they told me the shower room is only for Deluxe type. Not for the standard twin I booked. As I have to topped up alot more, I decided to leave it. Love the infinity footbath. Feels so serene sitting there but the water was only warm. Good selection from breakfast buffet but too troublesome having to wear gloves each time. The room is very spacious and comfortable but no view.

Very good service and good view”
Seems it has just been renovated, the lobby is very modern and new but the rooms are still old . The view is good, we could have the foot onsen outside and see the sunset simultaneously. The service is very good. It was my birthday, my sister-in-law was looking for a birthday cake but they can't offer. One of their staffs drove her to the cake shop to buy one . As the cake shop needed 2 hours to prepare, the staff help to picked up the cake from the shop 2 hours after . These impressed us a lot.

High hopes but a little disappointed...”
We had some really high hopes for this hotel as it was one of nicer hotels of our holiday (we’re staying in 6 hotels in total) but we were actually most disappointed with this one. The lobby looks really pretty and modern but once you’re up in the guest room floors, the building is quite old. The room is genuinely quite big and clean but our bathroom had a horrible and strong ‘damp, urine’ smell. We sprayed air freshener which covered it a bit but the next day after cleaning , the smell returned, it was really off putting and ruined our stay quite a bit! Also, the first night we had a problem with our hot water... and when we phoned, we were told we had to actually wait 5 minutes for the hot water.. which is quite inconvenient! The hotel is quite big, which means there were more people using the spa, compared to our other hotel stays, it was the most crowded which ruined the ‘relaxing’ atmosphere. The footbath was great and so was the cafe, the breads are really tasty! The location was convenient and close to the sightseeing locations if you’re driving. Overall, it was ok but I’m not sure we would recommend or come back as we really are quite disappointed!

I have to pay extra 6600yen for upgrade to non smoking room”
I booked a standard room and They gave me a very smoky room ( I felt dizzy) and I want to change to non smoking room. The staff said there is no “stander non smoking room”, so I have to pay extra 6600yen for upgrading. I have no choice only pay but at least the room with very good view and much bigger than old one. The money I paid worth it but I still hope you can notice “standard room only smoking room in this hotel”.

We stayed for 2 nights. One is at standard and the other night is deluxe. The standard room very old and outdated. And it was very disappointed. The deluxe room with Seaview was very nice and worth money. The onsen is very nice too.

Disappointed about the Hotel after Renovation. I will never come back. The western style destroy it.”
I have been to Seamore many times before the renovation. This is my first time to go there after the renovation. Before the renovation, the onsen was perfect facing the ocean in the front. There is nothing that blocks my view. Second, dinner was perfect. It was traditional Japanese dinner. Girls must love it. After renovation. The place of the previous onsen becomes somewhere people kinda wash their foot. It is not onsen anymore. For the onsen part, it becomes western style .....onsen (not Japanese style anymore). For the onsen view now, it is ridiculous. I am not in front of the ocean anymore. The pillar will be in front of you. Your horizon of the onsen is very narrow. The view was very wide before renovation. The tower on the right will block your view. For the dinner, they try to introduce Western style food. It is buffet. How can you image that you will eat fries and pizza in Onsen Hotel? The food tasted bad. There is no space for me to write about dinner. Too bad.

Worst experience ever. Do not go there”
Apparently only rude people who never went in good hôtel are selected to work there. Shame on the hotel's manager . When we arrived nobody wanted to take care of our checking. Nobody said Irashaimase welcome or just Hello!. A staff member told us that the check-in is at 2:00 I made her repeat to be sure it's 2:00, but when we came back at 2:00 another staff told us that it was 3:00 so we have wasted our time waiting in the lobby while we could enjoy the city. The first staff didn't apologize. Then the men from from the Onsen wanted us to pay the Onsen we told him that we are guess he laughed and said that we have to pay anyway. When we ask to the front desk to solve this issue the staff refused to call his colleagues and just kept repeating that the Onsen is free for guest. By the way the staff we did the check-in was aggressive and disrespectful while we tried to be calme and polite. The room was dirty and so old!! Only few rooms are renovated. Only cold water in the bathroom so no shower was possible in the room. The only good things in this hotel are public parts so you do not need to stay to enjoy it (terrace /french backery / onsen) by the way the hotel was crowded of people who are not guest.. to conclude if you are looking for omotenachi do not go there!

Good stay at hotel Seamore ”
We had a good time at hotel Seamore. Location is closed to the cliff and the rock formation sigtseeing area. It only 15mins to 30mins walk. Also we walked to the Shirahama beach. Great breakfast and dinner buffet. I gave credit to staff Ricky. He booked taxi and restaurant for us. Thank you.

Old but nice hotel”
The hotel is there I guess at least 20-30 years so the facility is a bit old-fashion. Staff overall can speak English. I accidentally booked a room for two while I am single. Since it was hard to refund, they decide to give me a better room instead and I am fine with that (My mistake anyway). The room was like 80m sq large for myself. I was totally surprised. Come to think about it can fit two people, is a reasonable price. Ocean view was excellent. Nothing more that you can ask for. And since I like Onsen very much, the hotel has its very own large Onsens including the outdoor one which also has ocean view. I can't count how much time I spent on there and it is open 24/7. I guess this is the most famous part of the hotel. Other than that, hotel was a bit far to the main street, it takes about at least 20 mins walk to there or you can wait the bus which comes every 30 mins. Just one additional information that on this very hotel, there is a small onsen just right downhill by the hotel. For 300yen, you can enjoy the onsen literally next to the ocean. And that was one of the highlights in this town. It was raining all the time during my stay, so no comment on the white beach. But I will come back one day definitely. Also, I got the very traditional Japanese meal for dinner. It was also unforgettable.

A delightful stay”
We paid for a seaview room but got upgraded to an enormous luxurious suite with breathtaking seaview, especially sunset. The room was so nice that I decided to spend more time in the room instead of other parts of the hotel. Dinner was Kaiseki style in a nostalgic elegant seaside dinning room, and table was filled with a few dishes at a time. We were a bit confused but the waiter didn't speak much English and didn't tell us which to start first. I was wondering why we had so many sashimi dishes, and asked the waiter when small stone pots were placed on our table. By the time he explained one of the raw seafood dish was supposed to be cooked in the stone pot, my husband had already ate half of that dish, thinking it was sashimi. I would suggest the hotel to print out a card in English/ Chinese with explanation for overseas guests so that we could enjoy and appreciate the chef's thoughtfulness and efforts. Breakfast in buffet style was pretty standard. The outdoor onsen within the hotel has nice view, however the bridge to the lookout tower can see everything at the open onsen. The gift shop offers a wide selection of souvenirs and lots of free tasting of cookies and snacks, and we ended up buying a few things home. It's a pity that WiFi is only available in the lobby but not in the rooms. Nevertheless, we are very pleased with our stay and overall this hotel has exceeded our expectation. Those who appreciate nostalgic interior designs in the 60's/70's will probably like this place.

Fun hotel for kids ! ”
We stayed two nights June 8-9th in the corner suite. Very spacious room for a family of 4! Two full sized beds , and two twin size futons on tatami mat. Lovely balcony, with breathtaking views of the ocean! Room has mini fridge, large TV, closet space, tub and shower. Bonus is that rooms comes with free phone to use for internet, and calls to US, Japan, and throughout Asia! Facilities are nice and most of the hotel and rooms have been remodeled. Note that the swimming pool is ONLY open during Summer , which I think for Japan is July and part of August? There’s a fun family game area on the 2nd floor which includes table tennis, pool tables, kids play area, music room, golf simulator , and fooz ball until 10pm. On the 3rf floor there is a karaoke room, and drinking/smoking room. Of course not to mention the onsens on the basement floor. Washers and dryers are available, too. A once a day (around 10am) free Shuttle from hotel to multiple stops is available. Dinner buffet selection ok.
