Best Kitchen”
Our week-long stay here was great. The kitchen is by far the best I've ever seen in any hostel. They have a food processor, blenders, two gas stoves, good knives, a wok, and many pots. Our shower had a full glass enclosure with good pressure and lots of hot water. There's a nice outside spot to hangout with furniture and a yard. The location is excellent. We enjoyed everything. Thanks!

Good hostel, good location, WiFi will it's Albanian..! Staff friendly & dogs as well..! Good bike rentals or bike parking if you bring your own 😂😂. Sedjest restaurant was very good local food good price, hostel kitchen is well stocked, rooms clean & privicy curtains, they do there best to keeping place clean at all times ask if you see anything wrong please inform them asap so they can tend to it..! Good value nice story as well how & why hostel came about

Hospitality and atmosphere.”
This hostel is in a great location with a great ethos. The owner and staff are very helpful, they'll help you on your next step and while you're in Skhodra, and generous. The food was delicious and the house itself was warm and inviting. It really felt like a minicommunity, was hard to leave. A great meeting of fellow travelers as well. There are animals and you can rent bikes. The owner speaks perfect English and was really great in general.

lovely little hostel. location very close to the bus stops and to lots of bars and restaurants. the staff are so helpful it really makes you feel very welcome. anything you need they will help you with. i hired a bicycle and rode around the lake for 15km. was amazing views and lovely ride. would come back here for sure.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Amazing staff, warm, friendly and helpful. Fantastic homemade breakfast. Great location. (Though it's right in the centre you don't feel like being in the city.) Good atmosphere, very social place and it's easy to meet other people. And last but not least, they have 4 cute dogs to cuddle and play with. Highly recommended :-)

A Great Backpackets”
Mi Casa Es Tu Casa is exactly what a backpacker or budget traveller would want, basics for cooking, a safe place to sleep, friendly staff, great atmosphere and comfy common areas (that were full but never too busy). They helped arrange all kinds of tours, guest houses, etc and were very knowledgeable about the local area. They are also partners / involved with local charities and socially conscious, which is a very nice touch. There is no parking on sight, but it is available in the streets, and Shkoder has a very safe vibe to it. It all depends on when you arrive as to finding a space. Right around lunch is a nightmare, but it seemed much freer in the later afternoon and evening. I would recommend Mi Casa es Tu Casa for anyone looking for a positive backpacker/hostel experience dead in the middle of the historic part of Shkoder.

great staff, terrible bed”
The lady at reception was bubbly, welcoming and helped us arrange transport to valbonne and recommended great accommodation there. Couldn't fault her. However we'd paid for one night in a private double which wasn't cheap. Our bus was very early the next morning so we needed a good rest. But the bed was horribly uncomfortable- the springs had broken so badly that there was a large dip in the middle. My partner and I therefore barely slept at all. Maybe dorms are better.
