Great beachside location”
My reason for coming to Donsol was to swim with the whale sharks and to scuba dive. Shoreline is close walking distance to the offices for both, which was great for me when carrying my scuba equipment. The manager, , was friendly and professional. The room was clean and the air-conditioner worked fine. The fresh fish served at the on-site restaurant was simply wonderful. To be honest, the only drawback is that the walls between the rooms are paper-thin, and you know what that can mean...

when i booked, i had no idea what to expect which is always a good thing when you book at a place located in a remote area. to my surprise, for the amount i paid, i found the basic accommodation very acceptable. the room was clean, had its own bathroom (though the hot shower was not working which i didn't mind), spacious, well located. the resort is situated right on the beach and is walking distance to the tourist center where you register and board the boat for the whale shark interaction tour. i really enjoyed watching the sunset from the resort. meals cooked in the restaurant are good and inexpensive. overall, i really enjoyed my stay in the resort.

Friendly stuff ”
Our goal was to see butangding and taste Bicol express there and that's exactly what happened. There is local home feeling around shoreline resort. Table on front of beach is great place to chill before you get after whale sharks. It's just 2 min. beach-walk to tourist-center!

this resort just 2 mins steps to tourist office. but it's a little bit far to central town. however, take tri-cycle to central takes 3 mins. the owner is a nice guys, view is good. food also good. recommend to stay

A bit overvalue for "tired" resort”
On our arrival as our bathroom in the room was broken (as we were told) we were kindly transferred to the nearest accommodation. For the next overnight we came back at the shoreline. That was not very convenient to do but as for it we were suggested AC room instead of FAN. Thanks to Luise. Anyway all in all - rooms are out dated a bit. For this value of money can be found more comfort accommodation.

Great location, lovely staff end beautifull rooms”
really loved my stay here. i had chosen to stay close to the visitor information centre, because i was here just for the diving and whalesharks. the room was great, comfy bed and very clean. was invited to join the staff for a bday party they were having and joined them for a karaoke night. there is nothing to do at night really, but if you'd wanted to, you can take a tricycle to the centre. when i was there, it was dead there too though. just relax and kick back

This resort just 2 mins steps to Tourist office. But it's a little bit far to central town. however, take Tri-cycle to Central takes 3 mins. the owner is a nice guys, view is good. Food also good. recommend to stay and i think the price for travelling and island hopping from the owner is good!

It is a small one. The room is basic but it is very clean. SHower and air-con. The owner is nice. The hotel is 100m away from the tourist center. Good for money.

Depends on the room you get”
the first room they gave us was terrible. ants on the floor, on the walls, the air conditioner didn't work, and it had a grungy smell. i was actually very happy the ac stopped working because it meant i could ask for a different room (and if they couldn't give me one, i would have asked for my money back and splurged for a better hotel). the second room they gave us was smaller but soooo much better. it was much cleaner, much more appealing to the eye and if we had gotten that room at first, i would definitely be recommending this hotel.

rooms were ok but outside ambience was not nice at all compared to other hotels that charged a little more. further the walk in rate was much better than the agoda rate. profile photos include those from a nicer neighbouring property.

Resort near the Whale Shark Watching Center”
five minutes walking distance to the whale shark watching center. there is no internet or wifi near the hotel. after whale shark watching there is nothing to do nearby. around 20minutes walk to the town, where you can find shops and internet. the room was nice, good for two, always warm water and clean.

Wanted to check out early”
The place felt a bit dirty to me. There were ants all over the walls in the bathroom. They would die in the water from the shower so the floor was just covered in dead ants. Really gross.

DO NOT STAY HERE”
Firstly it's a rip off, this little thatched hut with no electricity is not worth as much as they charged, it was so bad that I immediately checked out without a refund ! There are chickens all over the place which in the morning would be one huge alarm clock. I waited 1 hour for someone at the front desk to finally show up. There was really nothing good at all about this place and I really advise people not to go there unless you looking for the cheapest place to stay, even then this place is way over priced and should not charge more than $5 a night as I've stayed in better run down surfer camps

Es un hotel cerca de la playa , la habitacion cabaña basica , agua caliente , no TV , lo mas decepcionante no dispone de ningun tipo de mobiliario para poner ropa o equipage y ni tan solo de algun gancho para colgar la ropa , en 3 dias no cambiaron en ningun momento las sabanas ni las toallas , hay otros hoteles cerca de este a precios similares con mas prestaciones y mejor calidad que este.
