Paradise hidden ”
Absolute paradise, not a thing out of place and Milo the owner and all the staff could not do enough to make your stay perfect. Each morning to the point of having someone sweeping leaves away from the side of the pool. Making sure your glass is topped up at lunch. Pre-buying foods we fancied to eat for lunch and dinner! Archie let us know in the morning what was for our next meal, I requested chicken and was presentes with an amazing dish. Annie's husband the trike driver stayed with us for hours one day and asked we pay him what we thought rather than naming a price. He stayed with us to make sure we were ok in the city, took us to a tattooist when we asked. Apparently the hotel had asked to make sure we were ok so kudos to them again. The pool is immaculate and the rooms are amazing. The most comfortable huge pillows!! The whole building is artwork. When we are back in Luzon we will definitely stay nowhere other than Siama. Missing you all already!

Remote But I like It!”
Siama Hotel is a 2-hour drive from Donsol. It's not easy to go there but for me it's worth it. I love how remote the place is. If you just want to relax, do nothing, and be close to nature, then this is the place to be! It's perfect for staycations. My only issue is that the towels don't smell good. I also found a comforter in the cabinet which smells like it has been there for years.

Wonderfully Designed, Poor Service”
Siama Hotel's initial draw-in is its modern Filipino aesthetic, impeccably implemented down to the details. With my expectations set (mostly influenced by design and cost), I was ready to just sit back and relax especially after a long, long 15 hour drive from Manila. However, I found the hotel quite lacking in hospitality. Sense of Arrival We were greeted by awkward hosts, with lukewarm buko juice. It was so hot and humid. I respect the designer's choice not to place AC, but comfort should have been a consideration. Sweating and tired, we were invited towards the reception counter whereupon seating, was immediately welcomed by the receptionist with the "House Rules". It was not the most pleasant of welcomes, checking in and being told off on all the restrictions. It felt more like a briefing for camp than a welcome to a weekend getaway! For the duration of the stay, it loomed over us. My dad, especially, who couldn't get over it. The tone for the rest of our stay very restrictive (bawal yan, bawal to). I mean, I get having rules but it would have been enough to have it printed in the hotel room welcome packet and not blurted off to you upon checking in. Missed Luggage One of our paper bags went missing on the first day. We were the only ones checking in at the time, and no one bothered to ask if it was ours. We only got it on the last day. It had our beach gear. :( Hotel Rooms No kettle, no complimentary water. No landline connecting the the reception. No cell signal. Going into our room, it smelled like someone already used the toilet. Later that night, we'd figure out that it was the smell of the tap water. It was horrible (we stayed in room 304)! According to the staff, it wasn't normal. Nobody was able to take a bath on Day 1. Staff Staff were very friendly, but a bit awkward. They were accommodating, but didn't follow through on our requests (towels, tissue paper, wrong orders at the restaurant). I later learned that these partic

Relaxing Hotel with Friendly Staff”
Very nice and relaxing hotel, rooms with great view of the swimming pool! Good and friendly staff, food were nice too. Only down side is no television and fridge in the room. And a little far from city centre

Excellent”
The building and decor is fantastic, We loved the pool and the architecture. We though noted the hotel sometimes has odd "rules", such as the 50% discount on under 7yr olds for food is limited to the buffet, even when there is no buffet on offer; despite paying for the room a considerable amount the request for the room to be sprayed for mosquitos was responded to with the request we purchase the offered bug spray (to the credit of staff this was overruled and they simply sprayed the room). No TV or WiFi in the rooms sounds great, but if you do need to 'dip in to technology' the wifi or your own mobile data is restricted in the lobby due to the concrete walls. The menu was limited, perhaps as it was low season and there were just three guest groups, including us, Service was though friendly, warm and supportive, and the venue is beautiful.

almost a perfect getaway place...”
It was my second time at Siama and I noticed some areas wherein they needed to improve on. First, we had young kids with us and they wanted a TV in the room; there was also no table to write on and some of the plugs were not working. Second, there was an old, sort of laundry room at the foot of the stairs near our room, with dirty linens and stuff that had been abandoned and was kind of creepy! Third, the spa which was supposed to be in a bamboo cabins that was advertised online was not operational and the pedicab with rattan sidecar was not available either! It was a little disappointing but, overall it wasn't such a bad stay. And, I hope they will fix the things that would make it even more of a fun place to stay!

Nature and nature and nature”
The room is very simple. No TV, no WiFi, no radio, no dehydrator. It’s only the sound of nature, wind, raining, and birdsong. Very nice layout cation for relaxing. While we can use WiFi in the lobby, so can use with eating dinner. Hospitality from staffs were very nice. But facilities of room should be improved more too meet to the price. They are old and damaged little. But my schedule staying was very nice opportunity, so I will stay again when I have a business trip to Sorgongon area.

Tranquil eco hotel”
I recommend this place if you want to relax or take a "retreat" from city life. Note that rooms neither have wifi nor tv. Imho, the rooms are quite pricey.

Peaceful Place”
We stayed here for 4 days while visiting relatives and friends. The lack of TV and wifi and ohter distractions in the rooms.....in deference to serenity and quiet.....was a welcomed benefit. This is a place made for relaxation and contemplation, not noisey diversions (which you can have plenty of if you just stay home). Staff were excellent and attentive withouth being at all intrustive. We would defintely recommend the place and would be pleased to stay again. The challenge is in finding it, but once there you will appreciate the relative isolation from the hum of town.

Boutique hotel that can live up to the hype”
Recommended if you love designer interiors and architecture. Rooms were great and so were the swimming pool. Food was great too! They serve you full course meals on a per batch basis since there are not always many guests. Only downside is that it is far from everything but not an issue if you just want to have staycation.

Perfect design!”
What i love in this resort are the interior design and the pool... the ambience feels like you are in a Bali or Phuket resort. The food that they serve are simple dishes but well-prepared tastefully. The drawbacks are no available tv and wifi inside the rooms. They should already be included with the pricey rate per room. If they add more amenities, the rate for the value of money may increase... . But overall, the place is still recommendable..

Nice interiors but lots of room for improvement ”
Generally overpriced for the full experience. Diana’s main strength is its beautiful interiors and approschable staff. However, the following points can improve: 1) barely any signal from both major providers, which is out of their hands, but the least they can provide given that is wifi. There is no wifi in rooms. Wifi is in the lobby only but very slow, despite the fact that there are barely any people. 2) food options are limited and small for the price especially if you don’t eat seafood like us. There is a corkage if u wanna bring food in. 3) they charge for everything - food corkage, towel rental, etc. 4) they have ZERO contacts on tours and rentals, transfers etc that are reasonably priced. The ones they offer are so much more expensive than finding yourself (example. Tour was 10k pesos vs 5k I paid when I found my own van and tour guide. scooter rental was 3k vs what I found at 700 pesos) 5) lots of insects even in the rooms (ants everywhere) 6) no tv in room

Do Not Stay Here”
Unfortunately my 1000 plus words review about this place wont fit here. My birthday was almost ruined because of this hotel. Sorsogon is a beautiful place but don’t stay in this hotel. It’s a huge waste of money. Your inconsistency with your service and how your staff treated me and my guests from the time we arrived until we started dropping names of connections and one of my guests contacting one of your staff is a shame to Sorsogon! Train your staff properly or just close! This place doesn’t deserve to charge their guests more than 8000 pesos because first of all they don’t even have a proper wifi in the vicinity, no tv and fridge in the rooms and they don’t even have an intercon. We had to freakin walk back to the reception everytime we need something. And here’s worse, they only have a receptionist until 10pm. When we arrived in our room, there were no hand towels and bath mats. We were given two towels that looks brownish already. Unbelievable.

Meh, nothing exceptional, over priced for such an underwhelming experience. Pool is nice though. Would I stay here again? No. I just don't feel like staying here is worth my hard earned money.

Serene, calm but costly”
Tranquil with forest fern all over. Clean, spacious room and courteous staff. My only concern was food was too pricey with an additional 12% vat and 10% service charge. They could have included it in their price list to avoid surprises. A 22% add up is just too much. Also the walkway to the pool area at night is a bit dark. More lighting is needed.

Very nice architecture and interior design. Place is very peaceful with very little crowds. Ideal for a peaceful getaway. Only recommendation is to improve on the breakfast but everything else is okay.

Retreat from the busy city”
The place is very quiet and serene. Wifi signal is very weak so you're really forced to just relax, read a book, and be one with nature. The place is surrounded with trees and you hear the sound of the water dripping from the pool so it's really very relaxing. Their food was the highlight!
