We stayed for the weekend. The signs passed the border of UAE/Oman about the Resort was not sufficient, I think they should add more signs so guests won't get lost. We didn't fortunately, however, once we reached the unpaved road, we started thinking, maybe we are lost, until we saw the Arrival Lounge. From there we were taken care of, private 4WD to the reception of the resort, stress-free & fast check-in then escorted to our beachfront villa. The villa was okay, I just wished they provided dividers between the bathroom & the bedroom. The private pool was a bliss & the beach was just surreal. What I love about the Beachfront villa that we had was it has a gate that you can close if you want a complete privacy while being in the pool. The 'Sense on the Edge' restaurant is a must! The view is magnificent! worth every cent, quite expensive for a fine-dining experience considering I've been to many and haven't paid as much as I've paid in this resort, even when I was in the Maldives. The food was not so amazing, the presentation was great. The whole experience we had was just an unforgettable one, I will come back in this resort. I loved every second I was here. We really enjoyed our stay in six senses zighy bay. Everything was perfect, rooms, food, location. The weather was also fine. There are 2 points I would like to add, the prices of the villa and food was really expensive. The other thing was about the activities, you have to book in advance (4 hours in advance was not enough) or you will find it fully booked.

Beautiful and relaxing”
We stayed at Six Senses Zighy Bay for 3 nights. The drive there is great with an impressive view onto the resort when you are crossing the mountains. A 4WD car is definitely recommended if you want to drive yourself across the mountain, however you can also park your car at the bottom of the mountain and a hotel car will bring you across. A sports car might have difficulties reaching the bottom of the mountain though. We had a beach villa which offers a lot of privacy, but also has a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is beautiful, surrounded by the mountains and you can see many crabs walking on the beach from the water digging their little holes and building their "tents". I did see someone cleaning the beach, however he did a poor job as plastic bags and engine oil bottles were still there afterwards, which besides that it distracts from the beauty can be harmful to the environment. More attention should definitely be paid to cleaning the beach. I furthermore pointed out to the butler a few cotton buds lying around in the sand at the bottom of our villa, when we checked into the room. I also mentioned this a day later to the guy cleaning the beach, however when we left (after 3 nights) the cotton buds were still there. A small annoyance, but unexpected of a 5 star hotel. The pool is great and the villa, although very simple in many ways, is super comfy. Amazing bed and the fact that you can choose from a large pillow menu is a nice touch. The bathroom is fine with a rain shower, however we never used it as we only used the outdoor shower! The shower gel/shampoo etc provided smells delicious (Note that you can chose the smell from a menu as well) In terms of cleanliness, the room was very clean. The breakfast is great and room service is of high quality. The only thing we found disappointing was the restaurant Sense on the Edge.

I have been to other six senses or (formerly Soneva) hotels and was pleasantly surprised to be transported out of the UAE so close from Dubai. It is really a breath of fresh air, the villas are impeccable, the spas is extraordinary. The room service is as I remembered in Soneva, fantastic!

A nice resort in a spectacular location”
This is a very nice hotel and the location is really spectacular. Nevertheless I feel they somewhat overrely on the great location and are a little complacent in their service. A few points I would note as follows: Positives: - smooth transportation service from Dubai - great private pool in every villa (water temperature could have been kept a little bit cooler) - spectacular view from the Sense on the Edge restaurant (make sure to go before it is completely dark) Some slightly negative impressions: - pre-arrival correspondence is fairly poor and not very helpful. I felt the same about another Six Senses property I stayed at earlier in the year but the e-mail responses are very slow, questions are often not properly addressed, information provided is sometimes wrong/inconsistent and you don't get the impression that they want to really help you plan your stay - the food is not bad but quite average considering how much they play this up - diving is good but not world-class. Visibility is very poor and dive sites are quite far. It is a nice activity while there but I would not recommend travelling here is this is the main purpose

Wonderful stay enjoyed by my family. A dream weekend. However, being a six Senses the food was not great. Also the rooms lacked detail and were not cleaned very well.hotel. Our toilet was not cleaned for the four days we were there.a The villas themselves were lovely but for the amount of money we pay I would expect more.the bathroom amenities were not refilled from the last guest. No shower cap just empty wrapper in the basket. No slippers which you really need because of all the sand. These small things should be a given for this hotel.

Amazing weekend”
Our stay was perfect. Getting through the border went seamlessly. We rang for the guy to come with our passes and he was there within minutes. We arrived to breathtaking views, friendly staff and a gorgeous room. We can't describe how amazing our stay was. It was quiet, relaxed and just lovely. The food was fab, reasonably priced and wasn't faddy small plates of fanciness...it was proper food, nice portions and a good selection. The breakfast buffet was awesome with something for literally everyone. We left feeling relaxed and stuffed!! The room was lovely. Comfy bed, soft sheets, gorgeous outdoor area. Just an amazing weekend and can't wait to come back!

what I saw in the hotel was more than my expectation ..i reserved pool villa it was so nice ... I will really recommend this hotel to my friends . the staff were so kind the five us a very nice simple gift as a memory for the hotel ..i like it the only negative think was the cost of the food ...but u think this is because of there location it was nice trip thank you

It was a near perfect weekend. Starting with the beautiful landscape in and around the hotel followed by the room / villa down to the offered services. The only disappointing fact are the value for service ratio and the "forced" business outfit (smart casual) for their best restaurant.

Piece of tranquility”
Really is a unique piece of tranquility in the dessert. Paragliding in was a fabulous way to check in! Villa was stunning, especially in the evening when the candles around the pool were lit. We celebrated a birthday and the friendly staff brought us a cake! The only critism were noisy children in the villa next door, suggest for hotel to group families in villas close together. Lovely night away.

We had a wonderful time, brilliant hotel, as described. Very private. Staff very attentive and can order breakfast to villas which was nice. Excursions and extras were quite pricey so we did not do many. Very difficult to get to by car
