I was looking for a place to stay that wouldn't be expensive because this was a relatively long solo tour about art and architecture. Most important for me was the cleanliness of the place. I didn't plan to go out late nor to watch TV at the room. This was the first time I ever booked a place with no bathroom in suite and this was not a problem at all. The bathroom was always vacant and very clean. My room window faced the canal. The staff members were all very welcoming and polite.It is near p.Roma yet not too near. I would surely recommend staying at the place. המקום מתאים למי שמגיע לטיול רציני באתרים של העיר המדהימה הזו . כמו כן הוא מתאים למי שפתוח ומכבד את בני כל הדתות (היה פסלון של ישו מעל המיטה).

Very clean, super nice staff”
This was a great place to stay! I think the nuns still own it, and it was such a cute building (with a canal on one side and a little courtyard on the other). It was in a quiet area close to the train station and they held my bag for me on the day I checked out, which was very kind. Everyone was super nice and the room was warm and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay”
This is a place run by a religious group. everything is clean and tidy. A fabulous court yard with a very care garden. Excelent for little kids and to read and meditate. People are very friendly. Breakfast is strictly betteen their hrs... so wake up early...

Very simple rooms, no frills, spotlessly clean, very nice staff and great breakfast. Great location. Excellent value. We will choose to stay here when next in Venice.

For that price absolutely top. The breakfast could still be improved: not a single fruit or a soya alternative for those who do not eat animal profucts - only sugar and sugar products with milk. Still, considering thst most other hotels do not serve anything at all it was good

Lovely stay at Casa Caburlotto”
About 10mins walk from the bus/train station. We had a lovely one night stay here, the place was easy to find and the staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was quite delicious with a decent variety. The rooms are slightly small, especially the bathroom but okay for a day or two stay. We walked everywhere from here, but there is a vaporetto stop nearby. St. Mark Square is about 25mins walking distance. Overall a good place with very kind and courteous staff. Would recommend.

If you get a good deal go for it”
This was the best deal available to me at the time, and I am quite satisfied with what I received. The single room was nice and clean, and the outside bathroom was roomy and acceptable. The room was an acceptable size for a solo traveler with a small suit case (and would have probably fit a large suitcase too). Be warned however that this is a bare-bones kind of hotel, without any extra comfort or luxury, but I loved the down to earth, old time charm about it. Be warned that this is Venice you will have to drag your suitcase over several bridges to get to the hotel (although it was not nearly as bad if you had a hotel closer to other attractions and further from train station, which was only a couple of bridges away).

Definitely a good value for the money. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the garden beautiful. Air conditioning in the room runs well and efficiently. The room I rented was small but tidy, very good for a short stay. Breakfast is simple but filling and a good way to start the day. Not much by way of soap and bath gel but that wasn't an issue with me.

Different But Very Good”
Great value. Great location. Even a good breakfast. This is definitely a different type of place to stay though. Religious artifacts everywhere. Everything is dated including the one TV I saw. Really nice garden to hang out. Would stay here again.

Perfect place to end our 2 weeks in Italy. We stayed 2 nights. Rooms are spartan, but clean, have A/C, and breakfast is good. Very close to bus station and vaporetto stop. Easy walk from airport bus drop-off. We used internal courtyard for picnic lunch break and evening wine. Small supermarket 2 blocks over had anything we needed.

Simple, clean and tidy”
This place is value for money if you dont mindle simple living. Very chill and friendly ambiance. As monastery, they provide simple breakfast and there is curfew 12- 6am (anyway there is nothing much to do at night in venice, so its ok). located just 10-15mnts walk from terminal, 5mnts walk to restaurants, 10mnts walk to plaza and 10mnts walk to groceries stores.
