Ok...but budget means budget. ”

The hotel was just about adequate. I know realise that it is not a good idea to book ibis budget hotels because when they say budget that is what they mean. Very small rooms, a bed that we found uncomfortable even though it says on the key card that you can expect a good night's sleep. I feel that the room was hurriedly prepared because we had to remake the bed when we entered... Another annoying thing was that the air filter in the bathroom was completely clogged with dust and and other unmentionable things. TV on the wall with Freeview but half the channels were not working. Very small screen size. Half a bottle of three-in-one soap in the shower unit. Small bars of soap to wash your hands in the sink by the bed. No coffee and tea making facilities in the room at all. We did manage to rent a kettle for the 2-days with a small deposit and charge. Breakfast was ok but nothing special... continental style. Location for us, being from the north of England and knowing Manchester quite well, was good. Just a short walk to the Northern quarter. I do not blame the hotel totally for the fight that we were disappointed. Like I say after all the name implies budget accommodation. For a group of lads or girls or solo travellers that just want to enjoy the nightlife and crash in a bed the hotel is pretty reasonable. For a couple trying to enjoy a romantic couple of days away together? As we were? I'm afraid next time I would choose something else.

Very knowledgeable about location and very friendly , basically this hotel is great if your staying to watch a match but not very clean

Ridiculous design”

The bathroom had a completely see through glass door. No space to keep the towel or clothes inside. That would have been fine for a single room but not for a Triple room

Great value for money”

Overall, this hotel is perfect for budget travellers. However, be sure you'd be comfortable to be seen semi-naked by your travel companions. The door to the shower room is quite translucent (to almost transparent when the lights are on).

Lovely Stay ”

I really enjoyed the hotel & the staff was very friendly ...The place is highly secured , please carry your access card at all times or else you will be questioned by the security staff ....I was very happy with the location ...Manchester Piccadilly was not so far and outside the hotel they have a Tram station ....

Absolutely loved it”

Had no issue with it, beds where so comfortable and breakfast was great. Location was perfect very close to Manchester Piccadilly Station. Job well done. Looks very modern and classy. Definitely staying here again!

Good place to stay, Staff is friendly, room clean. You can get free croissant and cakes in the morning.

Excellent hotel”

Excellent service , helpful staff. Nice central location. Short walk from Manchester Piccadilly. Clean hotel. We booked a family room. Everything was good except the bathroom shower door which was literally transparent, which is kinda uncomfortable for a family stay. Rest everything was 5 star.

Good location near trams/bus links. Noisy room 5th floor late at night then 4am then again 7am not the best sleep

Looks like a hospital ”

Yes it was clean but that’s because everything was designed to be wipe-clean. Our room looked like a hospital room. Pretty central, but still a good 10-15 minute walk from Piccadilly, and you’d just expect more comfort for £130 a night. Will avoid in future!

Stop and go at ibis budget manchester”

Room is a bit small. If you just want to just rest for while, then it is fine. A bit out of way from main attractions.

Room and shower is too small for any comfort. Noise from busy road is a minus when we opened the window to let in some fresh air.

Pros: - Informative and friendly staff - Clean room - 10 min walk from Piccadilly station - Costa and Domino pizza underneath rooms which is useful - Wifi good - TV works perfectly - Hot and powerful shower Cons: - Not best walk to hotel from town especially for solo travellers- taxi highly advised - Room very small so if sharing must be comfortable with them - Shower opens directly into room so must be sharing with someone who you're happy to see you naked - Hardly any hangers for clothes Pretty good for a budget hotel and for 1 night stay. Wouldn't recommend for longer stays. Would stay if in Manchester for a night out again.

Not a safe area”

Definitely not a safe area around, the street is dirty. Hotel room is ok, bed is comfortable but if you stay close to the road you will hear traffic noisy, not recommend. No noisy from the bar

Great value for solo business traveler ”

Really good value, clean comfortable and with a decent breakfast. Very easily located to Manchester Piccadilly station
