Pros: Free Airport Transfer, Superb food: Crispy pata, Baconsilog, Sinigang na hipon, Lechon Kawali. Nice and Clean Swimming Pool. Peace and quiet place. Friendly Staff and Owners. Cons: None for us. We never enjoyed the beach front of Alona. So it's okay even if Veraneante Resort is far from the beach front.

Quite Haven In Bohol”

The place is picture-perfect with lots of trees and some flowering plants. We like it that they have a rustic, native theme for their resort. Staff were attentive and we had such a pleasant stay. The free breakfast and free ride to and from the airport/seaport were great bonus!

We were 6 and we got just 1 room, the staffs accommodated us really nicely! The room was okay for us, the free shuttle from and to the port is really helpful! They also offer free shuttle going to Alona beach. The hotel is kinda far from everything but they compensated it really well with the shuttle services. I liked their breakfast and their food is really good. The swimming pool is really nice. The only problem that we had with this hotel is the weak pressure of water at the comfort room, but other than that, this hotel is perfect!

The resort is simply great! Though it is not along beach area, they have a free service with very friendly driver who will bring you back and forth from the resort. The pool and jacuzzi pool are heated which make it enticing to swim 👍🏽. The staff are all accommodating. The food are delicious. They offer tours at your own convenience and a free pick up from either port or airport. Over all, our experience are fastastic that we had extended to three nights! We will definitely be back!

Great staff and service in new boutique resort”

Booked through Agoda and didn't realize that the resort would have picked us up at the airport. Took a trike to the resort for 300 pesos. The resort is located in the small township of Looc. The driver had to ask directions to find it. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly with a welcome gift and drink and check in was superb. They genuine friendliness and concern for our comfort continued throughout the week. It is away from the beach, bars, and restaurants. We didn't realize how far away it was but they had a free shuttle at 5pm that went to the beach. Beautifully landscaped resort that is quite new. Room didn't have kettle which was unfortunate. Booked our dolphin watching trip through them instead of through the many hawkers on the beach. They accompanied us and made a wonderful lunch as well. If you are looking for a remote setting with great staff - Veraneante Resort is perfect.

Excellent customer service”

My family enjoyed our bohol trip because of this resort. Staffs are very friendly and always give their best smile everytime we request for anything especially we have 2 kids and 1 infant with us (toast a bread even kitchen is already closed because kids are hungry). Shuttle service are on time and drivers always greet you everytime you take a ride. Highly recommended and all worth it to the value of our money.

The place is good, the room is clean and spacious enough for us. The staff are very helpful and nice. The food in the restaurant is also good. Although, the resort is far from Alona beach, it is near Momo beach, a smaller beach. Overall, we have a nice stay.

Loved their pool and how courteous the staff is. Ms Wynna was also very helpful. One needs to take a shuttle to Alona beach but that's okay since they have a nice pool and the hotel is walking distance (500m) to another beach: Momo Beach

We had a great experience with the resort. It was quiet and exactly what we needed. We stayed here for 6 days and would love to come back. The owners were at hand to ensure that we were settled and comfortable. I would definitely recommend the resort to my family and friends.

My Very Pleasant stay at Veraneante Resort”

It was very pleasant being picked up from the airport by their Van with their security as well. The food was very nice (need to add a little bit on servings) A real value for money specially if your on a tight budget. This is a backpackers heaven. It was well priced without compromising the quality of service. Definitely recommendable.

Unforgettable honeymoon in paradise”

We spent a week at this wonderful resort and it just wasn't enough. Wynna and the team at Veraneante say that what they lack in beachfront access, they aim to make up for in excellent service, and that they surely do. However they offer free shuttle each afternoon to Alona Beach, and offer a range of tours and activities. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere will win the hearts of all guests from the moment the arrive, and will most likely have you coming back for more. We miss our 2nd home. We will be back as soon as time permits! Thank you!

The most relaxing holiday I have had. Being far enough out of town for peace.but being able to hire a scooter to add to the experience. And the free shuttle bus even night between 5 and 9 is also a real treat.some nights it was good just to stay at the resort poolside.the food was fantastic and the staff treated me as family.The mirrors in the bathroom were for short people placed quite low .and it would be nice to have complimentary water. They were the only two issues I had.But overall it was a lovely experience and I will definitely return if i am down that way again

Totally relaxing”

We were picked-up from the airport in the resorts minibus which took about 30 mins. It is certainly in a remote area but set within it's own beautiful gardens. We were met by Wynna and her staff who informed us we were the only guests! Nice for us but a shame for them. We arrived in Bohol after the earthquake and just after the typhoon; consequently other tourists were cancelling bookings in Bohol! A result of the typoon was that Bohol had no electricity but Veraneante has its own generator allowing its pool to be operational and the ac in the room. The resort is quite new and very well maintained and we could not have wished for better accommodation. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. The resort ran a bus to Alona Beach but as we were the only guests were given use as and when we wished to go to Alona Beach restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was so relaxing. Can recommend the interior trip offered. Good value.

Best staff of any hotel I found on Agoda. Would recommend hotel to anyone. Location not the best; but most locations off the beach not the best; and this is better hotel then competitors by far. I recommend this hotel highly; and as to location; if you want seclusion and close enough to beach; guess hotel's would be great location. Bartender knows excellent joke

Very tranquil location with caring staff”

WE were welcomed in a very friendly manner and made to feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who are all young, professional and with very good english skills. It is unfair to pick out anyone for an excellency award as they all deserve one, however Wynna went out of her way to walk us to a site she thought we would enjoy. Thanks Wynna. I spoke to the owner. The father and uncle of the staff. His philosophy is punctuality and service. We have stayed all over the world in five star accomodation and this was one of the nicest experiences we have had as a couple on holiday

After the complimentary airport pickup, we arrived at the beautiful Veraneante Resort. Just 7 huts around a large swimming pool in a beautiful and peaceful garden. Rooms are simple but have good aircon and a hot shower. The resort is quite far away from the noisy Alona beach, but first of all the resort provides free shuttle service, and second, there is a quiet beach within walking distance from Veraneante. Wifi in the lobby and the nearby rooms is OK. The resort is owned and managed by a local family that go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They have a real 'can-do' attitude and seem to be enjoying their jobs. Would love to go back!

This resort is situated in a quiet part of the island. So relaxing and you can hear birds singing when you wake up in the morning. They offer a free shuttle service to and from Tagbilaran City. They also offer a free drop off and pick up to the famous Alona Beach (noontime only). Their pool is well-maintained but it lacks some pool lights at night. There are only 8 rooms in the resort so this is the best place to stay if you want silence, privacy and relaxation. Their staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Only few choices for breakfast though. They took a picture of us before we checked out. Sir Robert also took us in Hinagdanan Cave for a quick tour. The hotel's room rate is very reasonable and I'll surely come back when I visit Bohol again soon.

Small family run hotel”

My sister and I loved this place, we've travelled the world and the service here is unparalleled. The staff know lots about the area and attractions and are always willing to help with a smile on their faces. Breakfast is made to order with any item off the breakfast menu and at the time you want. They also offer a free shuttle service daily into alona beach and back or at the time you choose for P250. Wi-fi available in the restaurant and always has a pretty good connection. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday on this beautiful island!

Excellent quiet resort”

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The resort only has 8 little cottages and a fairly large pool. Because it is so small and family owned/operated it offers a very personalized touch. We were there over valentines day and the resort gave us flowers and chocolates and put on a special dinner with a band. The resort is about 10 minute drive from Alona and they offer a free shuttle, the only problem is you have to pre arrange because the shuttle might be in town picking up/dropping off other guests at the pier or airport. If you book on Agoda make sure you contact the hotel and they will pick you up from the airport or pier for free, this will save you about 600 peso and a lot of hassle! Excellent quiet getaway, perfect for couples who want to relax.

Was welcomed like family airport or boat pier pick up for free very quiet quaint lovely resort with beautifully maintained landscape unfortunately no beach at the resort but Alona beach is just a free van ride away what this place lacks in the live beach it makes up for in hospitality.
