I had only one night at this hostel, less than 12 hours as I had a super early checkout. If I ever travel to the UK again, this would be at the top of my list. I stayed at a 6 bed female dorm with an ensuite. The bathroom was clean, hot water fully functioning. A slight issue would be the size of the bunk bed; if you’re very tall, it might be uncomfortable. I hit my head several times climbing into the middle bunk, and I’m 5’2”. But all in all it was great for what I was looking for - few hours of rest with a clean bathroom :)

Great location and secure”
Easy check in and check out. Decent location and lockers for each person in the room (bring your own padlock or you can buy one from reception). Codes to access the rooms rather than a key so more secure. Didn't try the breakfast. Bathrooms were okay as well. Very happy as a solo female traveller.

Great Hostel”
Has everything you need. beds have curtains and are private. There was a bathroom in my room so only had to share with the dorm mates. Kitchen was clutch as well. Great location next to a bunch of bars and stuff in Camden.

Solo traveller”
I love staying in the Camden hostel!! So easy to get to and really cheap :) great rooms and a lovely venue/ My only issue here was the fact that the room was SOOO HOTTT argh I was up on the highest third bunk bed and was like a sauna :( they really should turn the heating off and gave me a right headache all the next day but had a great time other than that and will definitely be coming back again soon!!

I love this hostel!! Fab location and brilliant prices. I stayed two nights instead of just the usual one and really enjoyed my time in London. I did just find the room way too hot and stuffy so think the heating needs to be turned quite a bit down but otherwise its a fab place to stay!! Look forward to coming back soon :)

Familial and unforgetable”
The staff is incredibly nice, helpful. You feel like being part of the family (I've stayed 2 weeks). Internet was ok, location perfect (Camden is really a nice and safe area) and the bed was fine. Of course, it's not a 5 stars hotel but the people and memories you bring back with you are the most important and I will never forget my stay there.

Little adjustment”
Good and quiet hostel, but the shower head at the 43 room needs to be fixed, so things can be completed. No more chaka zulu positions to take his shower. Anyway, as I said quiet hostel and clean... Reagards, JCT

Cheap dorm, tiny corridors”
Understand its one of the cheapest dorms around in Central London. But the corridors were really tiny and its difficult to maneuver around with backpacks and luggages etc.

TIDY PLACE”
I have appreciated in the 44 room that the curtain rail was changed very nicely and moved the rusty wire. Good place to relax during my week end, keep going like that FOLKS. JCT

It’s ok for a couple of nights. But everything is just super small and tight. You can’t sit on the bed, in the room you can barely walk, only one small bathroom for the home room it’s not nearly enough. The common areas are good. And the location is good as well. I guess for the price it’s pretty okey what you get.

There is little plug in the room. The kitchen isn't really suitable for cooking. Breakfast was abundant. Good location, everything is easy to reach.

Definitely the worst of the Smart branch. I don't know how this place is open, everything is so narrow and it's a maze, it will take you 15 min find the exit. Rooms are horrible, beds size is just 1.80m!! Mattress are yoga mattress. Kitchen disgusting but at least they have. People weird, workers, old, not nice at all. No lockers!! Everything is clean but looks dirty.

ROAMING NOMAD @ SCI”
I have stayed at this hostel quite a few times. Its great for one or two night stays. In my opinion it needs more and better toilets and showers. It would be great if the kitchen was larger but we usually get on with it and its great to have a self catering kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. If the place is full the kitchen area can be squashed for breakfast. Otherwise, its a cool place with a cosy homely atmosphere, free tasty breakfast. It depends who else is in the building some travellers are friendly, chatty and considerate to other people but sometimes you can meet a rotten who is unfriendly, argumentative and inconsiderate!
