Very nice staff, very helpful. Location is near to convenience stores, station, shopping. Very clean and nice hotel. Will definitely stay again when i come back to hakata.

The bed is quite large for a single room. Everything's clean and well equipped. Front desk service is very kind and professional. Only a little smell in the bathroom.

Family travel, 2 adults + 1 kid, I booked a small double bed room, feel smaller than those typical small hotels in Japan, just marginally enough to open my luggage, price fair, need to walk 10 min to Hakata station, not quite convenient if you are traveling with plenty belongings. Room cleansing / tidy service was excellent, not recommend to stay long.

Smile Hotel Hakata Ekimae is only several minutes walk from Hakata Station. You can find buses, subways and trains that can get you anywhere in Fukuoka and Kyushu. It's the best for those looking for a simple accommodation with an exceptional location. The staff members are very friendly. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage there first. The room size is standard, which means that some people might find it a bit too cozy. You probably cannot fully open your luggage without placing it on your bed. But this is not a big issue I reckon. It also has laundry facilities available. You can actually monitor the laundering machine from your room, so you don't need to stay next to it for the whole process.

It was the second stay at this hotel. It is located near HAKATA station. The room and the toilet is small but not too inconvinient to use. I think I will stay at this hotel when I visit Fukuoka again.

Newly opened hotel near JR Hakata!”
The hotel was fairly new when I visited last April 2017. It wasn't showing yet on Google street maps! It's a 10-minute walk from JR Hakata Station, but easy to find. Rooms are not too small and has everything a solo traveller needs. I didn't get the breakfast option since there is a convenience store across the street! I just buy their affordable onigiri or instant noodles and eat them at the room. Wifi is also available and fast. Facilities and rooms are new so I am very much happy with it. Staff are accommodating but they don't really speak English.

Near Hakata Station, affordadle and the breakfast is quite good. Would definitely stay there again when I'm back in Fukuoka.
