Good location but older hotel”
I went during Sakura season and every other hotel is booked. It was a good priced budget hotel and it's about 15 minutes walk to Hirosaki Castle park. There's no bells or whistles but it served its purpose for a place to stay so I can see the what I came for.

Puts a big ‘Smile’ on our faces! ”
Located about a 15 mins walk from the Hirosaki train station is this comfy hotel that offers us a great value stay - daily breakfasts (egg station, salmon sashimi or smoked duck, tasty curry seafood rice & tons of other Japanese food options), a spacious Twin bedroom with softer beds, reasonable prices and 8-10 mins walk to the Castle & Park. Opposite the Hotel is also a Nakasan Mall with outlet clothes on the 4th & 5th floor perpetually at 20-50% sales, a supermarket & a small food court at the basement - great for shopping & dinning. Or stroll 10 mins to the Bus Terminal, Food market （perfect for sashimi & grilled fish) and the big Ito Yokado Mall. All in all, a perfect Hotel for our 3 nights stay!

Smile puts a smile on you”
Great enthusiastic service from staff, they are willing to try to help even when the request can be out of the norm. From one side of the hotel you can see Mount Iwaki and Hirosaki Castle. It is as clean as it can get, with odour removal equipment at customer discretion. Breakfast buffet was the best breakfast I had in Japan, and I was there for a week.

located in the heart of Hirosaki, Room is the biggest I ever have in Japan. Breakfast is good, more and tasty. Staff is nice, parking is not onsite but just three minute away.

Location is in the middle between JR Hirosaki station and the Hirosaki park. About 15mins walk. Room is not big but their bed is comfortable.

We were there 5 nights and found the morning staff couldn't do enough for us they treated us really well and spoke a little English. Over all we liked the size of our room and it was very clean with a great breakfast and breakfast was just a little diffident everyday which we thought was great having that little bit of variety .

a little bit far from JR station”
need 10-15 mins walk from JR station, and the front desk at 2nd floor, you need bring baggage to 2 nd floor checkin. the launday room is on 3rd floor next to guest room, so it has close time.

Its far from Hirosaki Station and a walk from Hirosaki Castle. Facilities are middling. Overall a rather mediocre location.

Good hotel with kind hospitality”
The room is clean and neat. The staff is all friendly, especially when the staff says heart-warming “itterasshai” after you return your tray for breakfast and are about to leave the restaurant. I stayed there for 2 nights and they offer to change the bath towel, face towel, room cloth, and bath mat and empty your trash without entering your room (you’ll need to put the used one in front of your room on the corridor and they will put the new one at the same place). This service is very helpful and nice for me. The hotel is located relatively close to the Hirosaki Castle but still need to walk about 15 min to reach the castle’s entrance. It is a bit far from Hirosaki station, around 20 min walk, but you can easily ride a taxi if you arrive late.

A little old”
Staff was very friendly and gave us the biggest corner room. The room was old but clean. The bed was memory foam, which I liked but my partner didn't like that she couldn't jump in.

Good value, clean and comfortable”
Perfect for a single traveler, the room was small, but didn't feel cramped. Good water pressure (and unlike a hotel I stayed at in Shinagawa, the water didn't shut off after 30 seconds). The staff was unfailingly pleasant. I did not have breakfast. I slept well on the foam mattress. Room temperature was fine. Google Maps got me lost walking from the station but basically, it's a flat terrain, 15-20 minute walk (Turn right as you leave the main gate, look for the Toyoko Inn and turn right on the main boulevard. Follow that for about 10 minutes, you'll see a Yoshinoya. Just past Yoshinoya you'll see an intersection with a gas station and a red-brick post office. Turn left. Walk another 5 minutes or so, turn right at the Welcia drug store and you'll see Smile Hotel on your left). Incidentally, there is a huge supermarket in the basement of the Ito-Yokado department store. From the hotel, it's a short talk to Hirosaki Castle Park, which should be visited during cherry blossom season, it's absolutely breathtaking.

とてもよかったです”
シングルルームを予約したのですが、レディースシングルにしていただけました。女性向けアメニティーがシングルよりも揃っているとのことでしたが、その通りで、とても快適に過ごすことができました。低反発マットレスと枕は初めてだったのですが、よく眠ることが出来ました。駅からのバス亭も近く、弘前城にも歩いて行ける距離で便利でした。
