Friendly hotel”

Spent 5 nights in this hotel. Satisfied for 100%. Friendly personnel (even some of them don't know English properly), they are always ready to help; clean room and facilities, everything you need was provided. Good and balanced Japanese breakfast in hotel's canteen. Coin laundry in hotel premises (3, 5 floors). Very good location, close to JR subway station Shinsuizenji (5min on foot). Чистые комната и санузел, всё необходимое предоставляется. Очень хороший т сбалансированный завтрак в японском стиле в столовой отеля на 1 этаже напротив ресепшена. Комната с монетной стиралкой и сушкой (3, 5 этажи). Очень выгодное расположение, рядом JR станция метро Shinsuizenji (5 мин пешком). Рекомендую.

Small hotel in convenient location”

small hotel located near suizenji park and close to the street car stop shin-suizenji-eki-mae. very friendly and helpful staff although english is not the language of their choice. unfortunately the hotel has very small rooms (although rooms in japan are not comparable to us sizes we felt the size was very small) and is pretty much run down. the hotel needs renovation; tapestry starts falling off the walls and we encountered 2 cockroaches (1 in the room and one in the bath tub).

OK. A/C doesn't work well, not good when hot.”

I dropped off my luggage early, which had no problems. However, later when I checked in and got to the room, the A/C was terrible. I went during mid-September, but it was still hot. Even when the A/C was full blast, it wasn't even slightly cold. It was those swamp-like coolers, not even an actual A/C. They definitely need to install them into the rooms, especially since they're a hotel. Why would you want to stay here if all you're going to do it continue to sweat once in your room? Don't come here during summer b/c you will suffer from the heat in the room. Room had very little lighting, so was kind of dark. The blanket was very low quality too, unfortunately. It felt like 2 thin sheets, and one thicker sheet, not even a blanket. One staff could speak English, so that was nice. And checking in and out was very fast too. Location is great for the sites in Kumamoto. It is far from JR Kumamoto station, but a few stops on the JR Line gets you there. The train only comes twice an hour, so you have to time it right. The fridge also wouldn't get cold, so my ice cream was melting! Overall, it was OK. They need to install actual A/C's and get a better fridge. The building look very old too, so not appealing to the eyes at all. Needs a new paint job.

Not the best business hotel I've ever stayed at...”

It's an old business hotel in the small city of Kumamoto, so it was cheap and located close to where I needed to go. However, it's close to the train tracks and a howling karaoke facility, both of which disturbed me, especially when I opened the window for some fresh air. The room had that "old hotel" smell despite the fact that it was clean -- well except for some stains on the carpet and stool. Breakfast was ready when I went down, and I don't mind a Japanese style breakfast, but I'm not super crazy about raw egg or natto (fermented soy beans), so I had to fill up on miso soup and the surprisingly over-soft (mushy?) rice. On the upside, the bed was comfortable, "unit bath" was clean, wifi worked great, and the front desk lady was friendly and recommended a couple of places to eat nearby.

I was in town for a seminar so I spent little time in the room It was small, but that's what I expected from a "business hotel". Best part was the breakfast buffet which prevented having to spend more money on food

I am pleased with my stay here. The place is clean and room is spacious for one person. Would come back here again.

Very near to city tram”

There was only one person who spoke English who was sometimes at the front desk so communication was very difficult. The breakfast included in our rate was Japanese-style so we had to adapt to eating salted fish, pickled cucumbers, rice and miso soup. There were also buns to be toasted. They very kindly brought us a plate of freshly cut fruit. The room was small and looked out on the railway tracks. The bathroom was small too but everything was clean.

A basic hotel ”

This is a very basic hotel with all standard amenities. Near to subway station and 7Eleven. It's located next to railway so it's quite noisy during railway operating hours. There's free welcome drink which is either beer or coffee. There's a shampoo bar which have varieties of shampoos for choosing.

Near to public transport ”

Very near to the Shinsuizenji tramline station and local JR Shinsuizenji station, within 5 minutes walking distance. Breakfast are nice served with Japanese style and Western style. The staffs are able to speak in simple English. The overall stay are nice!

宿泊前の問い合わせの時から感じが良いなぁ。と、思ってましたが、伺うとスタッフの連携の良さや配慮がとても良く、気持ち良く宿泊させてもらいました 次回、熊本に宿泊する時は行き先はどちらであろうとこのホテルが良いと思いました

部屋の問題もその都度、真摯に対応していただき、スタッフにはいつもあたたかいお声がけをいただきました。発泡酒ではない1日ワンドリンクのビールのサービスも気に入りましたし、貸し出していただけた枕も快眠を助けてくれました。やはり、テンピュールのマットレスは抜群に良いです！！また熊本滞在時には利用します。
