Ramada by Wyndham Oldbury Birmingham
Oldbury,Oldbury - View on map
"2 days of constant noise. The first night was someone with a loud TV and despite complaining to reception it continued until early hours. The second night a couple fighting, doors banging and lots of screaming. Complained several times to reception but again this continued until the morning. I have stayed at this hotel many times and it's been brilliant. However my last 2 night stay has to be the worst experience in a hotel ever. I stay in hotels a o lot due to my work and do choose the Ramada Oldbury quite often. Having complained several times on both nights I would have expected the staff to deal with both issues. It was this failure by the staff that was really disappointing and a real let down. Will I return to the Ramada Oldbury? That will depend on the response, if any from the Management team to my complaint."

"100% recommended. Everything is really clean. Spacious rooms. Clean shower, towels etc... Staff 100%. I asked for a particular restaurant at the reception and not only he printed and guided me the address but he also printed the menu of the restaurant for us! 100% helpful staff. Breakfast EXCELLENT! Nice English breakfast, cereal, fruit, pastries etc.. Parking NO problem at all. :) "

ibis Styles Birmingham Oldbury

"I spend probably about 100 days a year staying in hotels round the world for work - the best and the worst - so when I go home to Oldbury to see my mum, I don't expect much. It's an industrial town in the Black Country. However, Ibis Styles is far better than you'd expect. Decor is quirky and interestimg and focused on Black Country history. The rooms are a good size, well decorated, clean, eco friendly and no phone - you contact reception by Wassapp! The gym is good for this type of hotel. Breakfast is a buffet in the cool dining room, restaurant not bad and the bar stays open late and is nicely decorated. Staff are great. Customer service is excellent. It is located at J2 of the M5. It is next to an Aldi and opposite an Asda. Good for me as I stoxk up on stuff to take back overseas. However other may appreciate the Black Country Museum nearby, Bham about 6 miles away and access to anywhere on the M5 and M6. So, a real gem in a bit of a dump. Welxome to Oldbury LOL!"
