Excellent! ”
Amazing value for money. Neat and tidy, clean, quiet, parking available and very pleasant staff - what’s not to like? Also - if you fancy a great proper breakfast we thoroughly recommend Savvies cafe 2 minutes walk away.

Enjoyable stay”
I stayed here with a group of friends back in December and it was an enjoyable stay despite having hesitation due to previous low reviews. However, we never encountered any problems. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and was the same as the pictures. Plus there was running hot water. It was probably a 5 min walk to Archway station with a lot of shops nearby so it was very convenient. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Good for the money ”
Staff are excellent and very helpful. Unfortunately no WiFi as they were having some problems. No remote for TV. Place needs new furniture as most of it broken. Excellent location and plenty of amenities within walking distance

Excellent”
This is ideal if you are comfortable with the distance from the city. 20 minute Uber ride. Lots of facilities in the area. Secure parking available. Staff were great, I would suggest a few additional upgrades: Towel Radiator in the shower. Shower shelf Soap dish Empty bins daily Fix blinds to room Thank you x

Arrived and got sent away ”
Arrived to the hotel only to be told our room was closed for maintenance and it was fully booked so we were sent to an inferior hotel which was further away from the venue for our evening out and just not a good a room as we’d originally booked! Hugely disappointed in our experience of one night away in London we were looking forward to!

Good location, value for money but building is rather old”
We booked the loft. The location is good as it's walking distance to 2 train stations, good alternative to the expensive London hotels. However, the building is rather old and the pictures are not an accurate illustration. Our window's blind can't be fully lowered and we can feel the wind blowing inside although it's quite soft. Luckily, the window is pretty high and people from outside can't see inside. We reported to the reception who promised to fix it in the morning as we arrived in the evening. We had to make do by covering with some sofa pillows to block the wind. The next day before we left, the same guy in the reception again told us that it will get fixed. We're disappointed when that it's still not fixed in the evening when we returned. There's a different person in the reception who knew nothing and said he was not informed. Don't know where the communication breakdown was, but obviously our issue was not follow through!

Too much noise!!!”
I spent 4 nights with my family. During the first one, in the room close to ours there were a party (people screamed, loud music,...). In the morning the staff was really sorry and said :”you should have come to inform the porter so he could take care”. The last night, the same (young girls happy and noise). My husband went to the porter three times during the night. The first one he was even with headphone without hearing anything. In the morning the young and kind guy said that he was going to inform the manager...no call, no mail, no sorry! If you need to sleep, don’t go there!

There was insufficient hot water to shower every day and the problem existed long before I arrived. ”
The AC was not working - again an issue which had been ongoing some time

Seen bettter days”
Badly in need of some repairs. Curtains in room were damaged, extractor fans and Aircon were broken. The room itself is nice and had a Kitchen, but it wasnt exactly clean or recently painted. Its a very busy and noisy hotel which has been badly converted with virtually no sound proofing.. I was here for work and people were cooking dinner outside my toom at 0400. Ideal for a budget overnight stay.

Acceptable”
This hotel was in a nice location and had good reviews but it was one of the most unpleasant hotels I’ve stayed in, to the point where I left early. The room absolutely reeked of smoke and the staff were completely unhelpful. Basic necessities and furniture were missing or broken. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel in the future!

Spacious, convenient, clean and comfortable”
I used to live in this neighbourhood hence making me a bit biased and nostalgic. It's close to the archway tube (zone 2), convenient bus routes into the city and beyond, supermarkets and off lisences nearby, eateries etc... The room we got was a duplex with a double bed upstairs overlooking the common room with another bed and the kitchenette. It was catered to those with disabilities hence the massive bathroom. Unfortunately after showering, the whole bathroom floor would be soaked. Beds were comfy and there were power sockets galore. Would definitely come back to stay here when we're back in London.

The hotel had not been finished”
I chose the hotel thinking it was near Kings Cross, in fact it is in Islington which is some distance away. The hotel owners are still in the process of furnishing the hotel rooms. There were no bedside tables, no chair in the room. The room was clean, bed new and comfortable. The staff were friendly and told me that the hotel would have the missing furniture in the next week or so. I had a problem connecting to the internet which was a nuisance as I had work to do which required email access. The hotel is more designed as micro apartments or maisonette, there is a microwave oven and tiny sink which would be suitable for heating a meal and cleaning afterwards. here was a reasonable sized flat screen tv.

Very good”
Great location for the event I was participating in, but also directly opposite the high st so a good location for shops. The room was very clean and the space was vast which was good value for money (I had 2 floors together with kitchenette, living space and bedroom) - my only complaint was that it was very cold. Apart from the bathroom which had under floor heating.

Brand new and close to tube station”
These apartments are brand new. We had a few teething problems but the staff have been outstanding in correcting these. The bed was one if the best I have slept in. The apartment is very good value for money. It is a 2 minute walk to the tube station (northern line). I would recommend staying at these apartments. Great for a shopping and show weekend.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of a busy city”
It is a beautiful hotel which was an old school. It is still in the process of being renovated but the rooms are at a very high spec. It is certainly the best hotel in the area by far and is suprisingly very affordable. They do not do food, but there's so many cafes and restaurants around it isn't to much of a problem. The rooms come with microwaves too.

Good value for money, clean and recently renovated”
We were overall happy with our stay. The hotel has been recently renovated and is not completely finished. The rooms are very basic but clean. If you are a fussy hotel guest, I don't recommend you stay here. We were happy to commute into central London and so this suited our needs well. The staff really tried to help with all our requests, though there are definitely a few teething problems. We enjoyed some lovely meals nearby and can especially recommend the Sitara Indian restaurant close by. The location is quiet and the church bells next door are atmospheric.

Exceptional”
Clean spacious room with above average facilities and free parking in a fairly convenient area of London.

Very tired furniture”
Lovely building and room, but missing a trick with grotty old furniture and broken fixtures. You pay for what you get, so don’t expect your room to look like the one in the photo! The paintwork was fresh, but the carpet stained, drawers broken, furniture chipped. However the bed was comfy, and for 4 of us it was a great price and close to Archway tube station, only 15mins from Leicester Square.

Very clean room, nice staff, and good location.”
I really enjoyed my stay here. The receptionist was lovely and helpful, the room was exceptionally clean. This was a new hotel, so there was still some construction going on around the building, but we didn't mind.
