There was also a sewage backup smell coming from the toilet which was rectified quickly by their cleaning staff with a lot of scented cleaning products but came back a bit by the morning. We initially were given room 403 and realized it came without the 2nd bed/sofa bed we had paid for - and were given the reason that it was because there was only 2 of us staying in the room. After a chat with the front desk, they agreed to move us to a room with the sofa bed and moved us the next morning. 803 has a better layout and the sofa was useful for an extra workstation and spot to read and chill from. And bonus to have no toilet smell issues with the new room. WiFi speeds were fantastic 100+Mbps and the TV selection wasn't too shabby either. The area has tons of great street food and fantastic restaurants like Sadhu for an amazing vegetarian buffet and La Badiane and their great lunch set. The train station across the street can keep light sleepers awake with the announcements and chimes, and expectedly louder on lower floors. The lobby is a great place to grab a drink, play some foosball, beer pong, or down some deliveries or snacks. There's even a common kitchen with a microwave and laundry (pay-per-use) on site. Overall a great stay, very clean, and kudos to their team for being attentive and accommodating.

A surprise found - great experience”
clean and very cool room with all you need for a short stay (and maybe long too), the check-in was a bit weird in the beginning but I love the quietness and the privacy of this location. The bar even opened my wine bottle and gave me pairs of glasses , overall it's a great stay! Will come back when got chance

Amazing hotel in Hanoi”
Best bang for your buck. I have traveled all over the world, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This hotel has been the best sleep abroad I have ever had. Mattress pillows black out blinds are amazing. Gym is everything you really need. There is self service laundry at a cheap price and excellent WiFi. There's also a communal kitchenette, I have used it several times to heat up food. My only request would be a kettle in the room to prepare coffee quick. But other than that an excellent stay. Would recommend and would stay again.

Very unique setup”
Booked here as it was in the main road and will be easy access to public transport. The hotel setup was quite unique with a modern reception. Overall is fine just that due to the location, the street is always busy and horn will be audible anytime during the night. So if you are those who prefer quite stay and can be easily disturb by vehicle and train noise in the middle of the night, this hotel is not recommended to you, otherwise, all is fine.

We stayed here for a night while we waited for or train to Da Nang. The hotel is pretty much opposite the train station which made it very convenient. It is central to the old quarters so everything else is within walking distance. The hotel looks relatively new. It is clean and the rooms, while small, are well formed. The hotel has a kitchen so that you are able to cook your own food (there is no restaurant). However, its close proximity to lots of places to eat didn’t make this a problem. There is also a laundry to be able to wash clothes. Recommend a room on the higher floors for a great view of Hanoi.

This place was perfect! It was my first time in Vietnam and honestly, the traffic and constant honking in a still developing city was very overwhelming. But this hotel made me forget about that. It’s new and extremely clean. I really loved the laundry room. Staff was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great Hotel Just 15 Minute Walk From Town”
Sojo is an amazing modern hotel with great facilities and rooms. I loved the modern e-room with the purple lighting in the bathroom. All the lighting in the room was very well thought out and great to use. All the plugs were able to fit any international fitting, so no need for an adapter. The hotel is located right in front of the train station and only a 15 minute walk from the main part of town. Staff were helpful and when I missed my flight can came a day late were even willing to shift my booking to accommodate for this. I would highly recommend staying here.

A street across the train station, recommended if you’re catching the train early the next day. It’s a little far from everywhere else but you can book grab easily. Night view from hotel is amazing, there are automated blinds you can control. Room is cosy and clean, there are usb ports for charging. TV works as well. Apparently there is an app for the hotel but not sure how to use it

This hotel is great for family or business. The room is clean with a firm mattress. The lobby has a cafe/bar with a foosball table and some other board games. Breakfast is not fancy but good. They serve real coffee as well. Highly recommended!

Overall it is a good hotel for its price however it is lacking in some areas. The staff was very kind and helpful when I was trying to check in and realized I forgot my passport on the plane so they helped me call the airline to locate it. No luck with the airline but someone did send me an email later to let me know they found it and it’s at the airport lost and found. Phew. Thank you to the check in girl for assisting me though. The room was small and cute. Not enough space in the room for two large luggages and two carry-on luggage as this was our last stop in Vietnam before going back yo Canada. We often had to hop over each other inside the small room. The purple LED light in the shower was cool but we didn’t like it so we always had it off. The automatic shades were a cool touch next to the floor bed concept. The toiletries were lacking. They only had toothbrush and shower cap… no Qtips, razor etc. shampoo and shower gel is provided in the shower. The hotel location is right across the train station which is convenient for those commuting via the train and the infamous train cafe is minutes away too. Everywhere else is a bit of a walk but we rented a motorcycle which was 8 mins away from the hotel. We definitely have stayed in better hotels within the best points of interests as well as restaurants surrounding them. I wouldn’t stay here again. I prefer to be closer to food and cafes and more central.

Pros: Near to Train stations, can have some food at the restaurant and play some table games, before crossing the road to the station to catch a train to Sapa...etc. Coin Laundry. Clean room. Breakfast are good . Con: slightly far from the heart of old quater, but still within walking distant.

The hotel facilities are very new and clean. The rooms are large and have a beautiful view. But the most beautiful thing about this hotel is the staff, especially Ngoc and Thuy, they are friendly and patient. HR manager should raise their salaries.
