I came to Nam Dinh for a 1d/1n research outing as I do 150+ times a year in Vietnam. Check in begins on the 5th floor which is also where the action is (they have a full bar and some food service options during the day). Life Pro Tip: This hotel uses great technology to save energy. When you leave the room, the hotel automatically deactivates the power sockets in the room. (1) If you need to keep charging your laptop, phone, or Airpods, you'll have to use the power socket behind the mini-fridge. (2) The internet also seems to have its own agenda for disconnecting and forcing users to re-authenticate - suggest you avoid it and continue use of your 3G/4G or personal hotspot. Overall the hotel has an upscale hostel vibe. Good community and food options. Good and committed customer service team (although my reception and initial contact with the hotel could only be described as a bit rough around the edges.) It was nice to meet Mr. Phuong, the general manager who is highly affable and cares greatly about the customer experience. Indeed if not for him, my review might have been a bit more scathing. Will be interested in returning to this hotel in the future.

i had a relaxing stay at sojo nam dinh hotel.. they should definitely improve the check-in process.. i found it slower than an average check-in even though it was my second stay at sojo hotels.. apart from that everything was quite good..

So to start this review, I am from America, belonging to a large Vietnamese club. I am taking a year off to travel from cities to cities in Vietnam, to learn about my roots, culture and heritage. This trip has been pioneering for those in America who are interested in traveling to Vietnam, post COVID. The government has done a terrific job of ease of reentry. OVERALL: SOJO Hotel in Nam Dinh is a great top notch hotel. I picked because it is within price range and have read the reviews. The only difference between this hotel and the $100+ per night hotel is the price. Otherwise, everything is pretty much the same. I also picked this hotel because this was the week of my birthday so I wanted to be close to my mom's home town. SERVICE: When I arrived, I was greeted by the Assistant Manager. Very nice gentlemen and made all attempts to accommodate my needs within reasons. The next day, I was greeted by the hotel manager himself and he was extremely gracious and very considerate as well as friendly. The receptionists also helped me book taxis that are in reasonable prices. So be sure to tip them because they saved me a lot money on my sight seeing trips. In addition to my surprise, the staff at this hotel also greeted and wished me for my birthday which took me by surprise. ROOM: The room is very modern. Everything is extremely clean for someone who is a germaphobe like myself. As a habit, I usually examine the sheets and towels. I was not able to find stains which is an indications of the cleanness of the hotel. Same goes for the shower and toilet. I was also lucky that the bed is very firm. Nothing seems to be broken. The view of the entire city was amazing with one big huge window. FACILITIES: They have washing machines and dryers. This is very convenient for someone who is moving from cities to cities. In addition, they have a gym (dumbbells, benching, military press and cardio) although the local gyms are only 20-30k. SURROUNDINGS: If you w

I stayed at SoJo Nam Dinh for 10 days for my baking classes. It was amazing experience to stay there. The staffs I remember their name included Nga, Thu and Nam are very helpful and frendly to accommodate my need. My room is cleaned every day by great house keeper and the clothes washing machine service is a big plus for who stay there in long periods. That is an wonderful experience staying at SoJo. Hope they have more variety of breakfast choice.

Nice and clean with full of equipments. Problem is breakfasts are expensive but very poor. So I recommend you all to have breakfast outside. This city is a heaven of foods so be free to explore. The staffs were so annoying when they insisted setting up the application themselves on my phone which I could do myself. And they were also unprofessional to ask the guests to remember their names and leave a good feedback for those names.
