One of the Best”
The place is very quiet and relaxing. Everything that you need for an ideal vacation is in Solina. All staff are very friendly. Rooms, pool, restaurant, surrounding - everything are clean. I love their pool jacuzzi. Their hawaiian pizza is the best i have tasted so far because tje mozzarella cheese is sooo generous. Trees and plants are all over. Room rates are very reasonable vis a vis the amenities and service. They are using metal straw for their drinks in the restaurant which is good for the environment. Staying in Solina will complete your Gigantes Island getaway. Highly recommended. The long travel from Manila is worth it.

Kitchen organization need to be improved, food menu not completed when i was there, lacking in resto service knowledge some staff, need to organize services in restaurant ( per station ), kitchen supplies should be anticipated, install a walk in storage to avoid shortages in meat and vegetables, breakfast preparation is an excellent. service for food should be not beyond 15 mins. Chef should be well knowledge.

Great facilities, wonderful staff, value for money”
We really enjoyed our stay! The facilities were beautiful, the cabin rooms were spacious and comfortable and the overall ambiance is peaceful and relaxing. Staff were attentive and helpful, they anticipate your needs which is very commendable. The food at the restaurant were delicious, we really enjoyed the baked scallops. Serving size were good for 2-3 people so great value for money. Overall this resort is a little on the pricy side but I feel its GREAT value for money and well worth it because the prices were NOT unreasonably exorbitant which is typical for other resorts in the Philippines with facilities like Solina's. Please keep it that way :)

Staff are very courteous and attends to our needs immediately, very very nice pool, the beach was beautiful especially during sunsets but with some jellyfish swimming around the water. I booked 2 rooms (queen room with spa bath and queen villa) both rooms were great, very nice and clean. The only problem was the AC in our room which is the queen villa, it doesn’t function well (so basically we slept with our AC on a fan mode). But all in all Solina is a great place to stay when in Carles👏

Relaxing. Great for a family get away. Resort staff are accommodating, hospitable, kind and super duper nice. Food; yummiest(thank you for the experience, Chef!) , reasonably priced and fresh. Must try: sinigang, pancit, seafood platter, pizza and fried chicken. Breakfast buffet: malunggay pandesal, dried seafoods, kamote tops juice, perfect scrambled eggs Rooms: Clean and comfortable. We had the Queen and King Villa. Came with free breakfast, 4 for Queen and 3 for King. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Solina!

My cousin held her destination wedding reception in Solina and we (my parents and I) stayed overnight to fully enjoy the event. We've been to Carles before but this our first stay in the resort and we are extremely satisfied! From the time we entered the premises until we checked out, exceptional professionalism was best displayed. The staff during check in (Mark) and check out were quick and efficient, our reliable van and golfcart chauffeurs were polite and always smiling, the personnel in Angga Restaurant were very approachable (apologies but I can only recall Myra and Joy but this applies to everyone). The food was delicious and hearty and my Mother and I especially loved the pancakes! The villa we stayed in was spacious and furnished accordingly; it was such a delight opening the balcony doors and enjoying the relaxing view ofthe bonsai garden. We shall be back with my brother's family.

Had a 3 day vacation at Solina coming from dinagyang festival in Iloilo. I would have skipped Iloilo entirely had I known what was waiting for me in Solina... I booked everything at Solina, pick up, driver, island hopping etc.. we were treated like royalties.. nothing negative I can think off. April from the Manila office is the most accommodating and understanding easy to talk to booking person you can ever have. The food at the Angga Restaurant was the best... well 1 comment coming from my millennial kids... WiFi could be better. Chris(driver) Angelo (tour guide island hopping) and the rest of the staff on site are all awesome. I promise to comeback again in 2 years... best vacation ever.

It’s already my 3rd time in Solina Beach and Nature Resort and it never disappoint me. I keep on coming back because I really enjoy my stay from free water activities like paddle board and kayak, cinematic shoreline with sunset, wide and grandeur pool, delicious buffet breakfast, clean, spacious and ig-worthy room-design and most off all its customer-friendly staffs! I would like to commend Sir Mark in the reception area. He’s so approachable. He assisted me from my reservation and answer my queries. Kudos!

After a flight and a long drive from Iloilo City, Solina is the saving grace of that long travel time. It was worth the investment since the journey is tiring. The place is super clean and beautiful. There’s a beach and a pool to relax in. The food is good and the price is affordable considering we are in a resort. The breakfast buffet was a feast too. Totally worth it to stay in when you’re visiting Higantes.

Top Resort”
We arrived at the resort around 8:30 am and was given welcome drinks as we checked in. Upon inquiry the front desk personnel gave us a number for their Islas de Gigantes tour tie up. When we got back around 4pm we took a golf cart driven by their staff going to our cabin and was impressed by the facilities around the resort. Walked down to the pool and beach area and found the place very pleasant. Pool water was warm and calming. Dinner came and we scanned the menu and found it very affordable. We then booked a massage for 2 and was very happy and satisfied with our therapists. I would recommend this resort to my friends and would love to come back again in the near future.

The staff were so welcoming and they always did their best to assist and grant their guests needs. Would like to specially recommend Mark of Front Desk and Mabel of the Restaurant. The place was clean and looked relatively new. The beds are comfortable. The only thing that caught our attention was the garbage in the shore. But, i believe those came from other places and were just washed over. Other than that, it was perfect!

The place was clean all throughout our stay, the staff are friendly and their sisig, scallops and bam-i are perfect! The room is clean and what I appreciate most is them being environment friendly because they have containers for their shower gel, shampoo and lotion! Stayed at a cabin(queen). Room is clean and tidy. Sheets are very comfy and smells good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food at angga restaurant is sumptuous and worth your money. Pool is warm, you can dip even if it’s raining. Only downside is the road going in the resort. Overall solina is a great place to stay for relaxation.

I'm so glad to discover this resort! We got a cabin tent which is good for 5 pax - perfect for my family. The room had comfy beds and clean bathroom. Service was great too! For the resort facilities, I love that the pool wasn't cold! I was able to enjoy the pool any time of the day.

I love every inch of this place! It’s surrounded by so many trees and plants and so near the ocean. Our cabin tent is filled with so much sunlight in the morning and is very unique yet comfortable. Their breakfast is also something to look forward to. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends going in to Carles/Ilo-Ilo.

By far it is the best in the province. Very classy but worth the buck. Nothing fancy about the resort but the complete with the essentials of comfort. Great place as homebase for your gigantes experience. And not too mention that they have an excellent breakfast buffet. Will definitely be back.

Solina resort is such a wonderful place. The staff has been very accomodating, the food was great, the beach and swimming pool were wonderful and clean. The children love the pool area and playground. The room was tidy too. Highly recommended resort! Surely will come back for a much longer stay:)

Although we only stayed for just 01 night, we had a great time staying at this place. Rooms were definitely one of a kind. The ambiance was so good, wide variety of the buffet breakfast, facilities and amenities was well maintained, staffs was all courteous and helpful. A little bit of CONS: set-up at the room was incomplete. We had to request for tissue and coffee sachets. Shower rooms at the pool area needs to be improve. We were actually excited for the bon fire but the marshmallows that time was not available. Nevertheless, this property has the branding at its finest!

I'm so happy I was able to experience Solina. Everything was just perfect. My mom and my aunt loved the place so much and they can't wait to come back. Wifi is slow, staff tend to get shy but they're super nice and accommodating so I guess with more training they'd be world class already. The place is amazing and you can do lots of things and get in touch with nature which I really loved. I'd definitely come back here even as a solo traveler. Still can't get over how the place was more than what I expected.

Top-notch services that wont burn your wallet”
Great value for money! Loved the details of this resort; they really thought of the guest's experience, from the services to the amenities. Our room (Balay Reyna) offered a relaxing view of the sea. We stayed two nights and my parents had a great time. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet too. Pros - the list is long. All staff are well-trained; they offer room services; there's a towel at the pool area; view of the sea; clean facilities; complementary coffee and water, slippers, robes; shuttle services; and they can arrange the island hopping package for you. Cons - flies at the restaurant and some of the food we had for dinner and lunch were served cold. Maybe they could use glass walls for the resto to keep the flies at bay. The pool is also only 4ft deep -- safe for kids but too chill for adults.
