I'd come back here”
Excellent value for money although construction noise on north side might bother some people. Stayed two weeks, switched rooms after a few days to one with a better shower. Good bed, wifi, tv channels, etc. Breakfasts were the best so far of the 4 hotels I've stayed at so far in this area. Can order omelets, etc., from the kitchen staff. As with all hotels, things go better if you tip the services. And oh yes, this hotel is guest friendly. Would recommend to friends and I'll definitely be back.

Hotel is clean and good located. The coffe is the only good thing at the breakfast buffet. If i go to vietnam i expect fresh baguetts for breakfast but only toast. Fried eggs are overcooked and cold. Most items are for chinese customer

Location is good. Many Japanese restaurant nearby. The room has aged slightly. Some of the bedside lights is not working. WiFi is strong. Aircon very cold. I like the big jacuzzi bathtub in my bathroom. The only CONS is the occasion sound of horning by motorcycle from the streets. But U cant escape from it in Vietnam. Would stay here again if come to HCM.

First Stay at this Hotel!”
Hotel is located around major attractions in HCMC, but needs to be renovated since the air condition generates a lot noisy. At night, it hardly got sleep with that noise.

What a dump!! Internet doesn’t work in rooms. No hot water. Reception refused to change my tv which didn’t work. Used as a day hotel for men with “ guest” girls!!!! Do not stay here

Excellent Service”
The hotel staff was great! The bell men at the entrance were really friendly, they had a ready smile & would assist us in anyway they can. They would check out the taxi meter before we pay the driver to make sure that were not cheated & they would help us bring your stuff without expecting any tip. We noticed this because they did not linger after helping or bringing us the adapter & weighing scale (yes we were quite a demanding group ;-) They just politely brought the things & said thank you. Special mention to Dung, the Front Desk Manager, who went out of his way to assist us book a free & easy city tour on our first day. For USD100 all 9 of us had one van bring us to the key tourist spots in the city & to anywhere else we wanted to go. Our driver did not speak much English so every time we needed someone to explain things to him, he would call Dung on his mobile & ask us to talk to him & he would then in turn translate. It was value added service to the max! Thru this we managed to tour the city in just half a day, have dinner at Jollibee, have a blast of shopping at the Ben Than night market & conveniently brought back to our hotel by 10pm. The next day we booked a guided tour with lunch for Cu Chi Tunnel & Cao Dai Temple for USD252, again with the help of Dung. The room was just the right size, very clean & well furnished. There was even a safety deposit box in the closet (free of charge) which I have never experienced in the previous countries that I've visited. The bathroom was nice & very clean. They also have 3 internet terminals at the lobby & serve you water while surfing. Overall i give them a 100% rating for a job well done. For those who are thinking of going to Ho Chi Minh on a budget, Sophia Hotel is the best place to be. Just visit their website below for more details.

I have been stayed in Sophia Hotel for a few times and I enjoyed my stay in Sophia.Although is 3 stars hotel but the quality of the hotel like 4/5 stars.The most important is I felt like sleep at home. The breakfast is delicious. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. They smile all the time. Speak good English.Around here just open coffee bean. Suitable for people who want to relax and enjoy their coffee. Sophia is located at the city so just a few min walking distance then can reach the central of the city.There have a lot of shopping centre. I will highly recommend my friends and family stay in Sophia Hotel. Price is reasonable. Service in Sophia overall to me is 10 points. For the next trip to Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh I definitely will choose Sophia again..Is really worth it and enjoy so much in Sophia Hotel

Sophia - Great Hotel!”
We really enjoyed our stay at Sophia Hotel! It is not located very near the City Center but we only had to take a 2-minute cab ride. Location is good because it's more quiet and not too crowded compared to other streets in Ho Chi Minh City. We absolutely found the staff very helpful and very kind. They can speak and understand English so we didn't have a hard time. You can also book tours in the hotel without any hassle. The tour van will pick you up and drop you off in the hotel. I would recommend Sophia Hotel to all travelers in Ho Chi Minh City

1-week fun trip”
The location of this hotel is indeed excellent. It's in close walking distance of the central shopping area. Good restaurants and pups are just around the corner (so no need to eat in the hotel). Also the club "Apocalypse Now" less then 10 minutes walk away. The return trip might take longer, though ^.~ WiFi is really helpful and working well. The money for value ration is exactly what we where looking for. My other two friends think the same and probably next time we come to Ho Chi Minh City we're going to check in the Sophia Hotel again. You really can't do anything wrong.^^ Have a nice stay, Andreas
