Location was good, with plenty of restaurants and shops around, plus a few cultural attractions, and it wasn't far from Kamakura, where you'd naturally want to go if staying in the area. The few times we interacted with staff they were polite and helpful. The rooms were typical Japanese - relatively small, but the bathroom was very good size, and everything was comfortable. Booked last minute and thus had to take a smoking room, but while the floor smelled bad, the room itself didn't. Overall was very happy with my stay.

It’s a perfect to place to stay if you want to be away from metropolitan Tokyo and have some peace for a while. Location is great, close to several traffic lines. There are restaurants and convenient stores nearby, and a 24-hour laudatory. Room is quiet and cozy, gets enough space for a solo traveler. Would highly recommend.

Budget stay in convenient location”
I had a day trip in Kamakura then have a night here as the next day on the way to Lake Kawaguchi. This hotel is surrounded by foods and convenient store, also a grocery and a liquor mall. The parking facility is not free, it cost 1000yen per night but still cheaper than outside.

Breakfast was not like the pic”
Room was small but clean. The service of staff was fine although I had to parking at another premise 4 mins away on foot. Breakfast was so different with the picture. But overall it was ok.

I had a great 2 nights stay here. The room service was awesome despite I didn't ask for room service, they left new change of towels and bathrobes for us! There's a wide range of toiletries at the lobby for hotel stayers if we want to have them.

Room is small as we knew, the twin-bed is enough for us to sleep on, but difficult to open 2 luggage at same time. The room is clean, since we just make a transit at this hotel for one night and drive to Nagoya, no major concern, overall is a nice stay.

Quiet surroundings in a small town”
The hotel is quiet in surroundings and easily accessible from railway station. The breakfast selection is not so much and there is a distortion on the picture shown on food. Though the selection is so limited, it could make you full.

We have stayed at this hotel chain in Tokyo too, and it is great,although the rooms are not big (as one would imagine in Japan), they are still clean, bright and airy and give the feeling of space. The bathrooms have evrything you need including a bath and a funky toilet. The staff are very friendly and will help you with what ever you need. On check in you are offer a little bag with toiletries and there are free bath sponges, bath salts, soaps and teas available at reception for you to take every day. Complimetary coffee is also available form 3pm till midnight every day. The hotel is around the corner form the Shonodai station so there is no need to get a taxi on arrival. The restaurant, cafes within the area are great but it is not a shopping area.

nice hotel, quieter surroundings”
this is the second comment as i booked an extra night as my plans changed. until now i was very happy with the hotel and services. we were told that our room was already booked so we had to move rooms. fair enough. they only had a smoking room or a twin that was a little bit bigger (the normal rooms are boxes but it seems to japanese standard). we were not happy with new room, horrible stale smoke smell. we ask politely if there was any other option and this was our 4th or 5th night. they could have given us the twin room or pay a little but more but the answer was 'no' or take the twin room which was surprisingly double the price. this was a great shame as i would have gladly recommended this hotel to others, but for me... these moments when in need is what real service is about, unfortunately this time they failed.
