Big hotel, many guests, quite noisy, caters to Chinese tour groups, to local packaged tour groups, group seminars, etc. Nice lobby with beautiful fish tanks. Courteous and friendly staff

This is a larger hotel than it appears from the highway. Everything that you need except a pool. Decent restuarant with free breakfast. Less than 2 km from largest mall in town. Far from airport but convenient to the dive spots south of town. Easy to get arpund Duma on trikes (or rent a scooter). Staff and management helpful.

Only stayed the one night but was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is nicely situated with plenty of transportation into town. The room was very clean and very comfortable. One suggestion. You provide cups and a kettle but it would be nice to have some coffee sachets to go with them. Many thanks

I have always stayed at Southview every-time my boyfriend and I would visit Dumaguete. You could say, I am a patron Because of many reasons such as a clean place, spacious room, breakfast included, parking. Came to a point that I already know the difference between the standard and the deluxe. I booked through Agoda a deluxe room, and they gave me a standard one.

I really love staying at Southview. If you want to get the best value for your money, stay here. They have very comfortable beds and pillows and comforters. I really wish they could have cleaned the floor properly because it feels so icky and slimmy. AC was also cold after few hours. When I entered the room, it was really hot. But value for money with getting a room that looks really good, stay here

The room is a bit small, but the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean, only drawback is, it has an overhead shower, no hand-held shower is provided; so, it's difficult if you don't want to wet your hair. Breakfast is satisfactory. Advantage is the big parking space.

This really has to do with our current reservation. For some reason the property is not billing our credit card promptly and the price on the booking doesn't reflect the final cost. Our reservation which should have cost $56 ends up almost $65. I was already aware of the Php1,000 refundable deposit, but Php500 fee is absurd. They also aren't responding to my e-mails. This property used to be a consistent 5 stars rating by us. They have definitely gone downhill.

Was a bit noisy when people were walking to their rooms and with some kareoke going too loud for me. bit of a walk to the mall 25 30 minutes good exercise or get a pedicab. some days wi fi would work next it wouldnt small room, had to get them to come 3 times too fix and then replace the safe. It was ok just a little bit out from the city
