"Very nice hotel with really helpful staff. Our room had a fireplace (gas) which gave it a nice flair. Room was comfortable and warm. Facilities like swimming pool, fitness room, billiards (pool) table etc avail. Its only a short car-ride to the lake and the rest of town, basically easy access to all. Really enjoyed staying at Big Bear Chateau, really liked Big-Bear Lake too."

"If you’re in need of a simple yet clean and very accessible place to stay when adventuring up on the mountain, this is your place to stay. Very clean and very organized room, plenty of space in my king size bed with fireplace and large bathroom. Not the highest of quality items in the room but when all you need is a place to rest, dry off the wet snowy clothes, this is the place to go. Dead center of Big Bear within stone throw of plenty of restaurants, shopping and snow resorts. Will definitely try to stay here again. "
