Best bang for your buck”
Extremely nice staff! I could not stress this enough but seriously the best. I had the best time in El Nido thanks to them. They were attentive and best of all had made my stay just that comfortable. I remember asking a staff if I could still join an island tour last minute and within less than 10 mins i was told that i could, they arrange for transportation as well for me to get there. Breakfast is also really good. Location wise it’s in the middle of town so you could just walk downtown. Rooms are very very clean and vary in prices too so if you want a cheaper room you could opt for that. The place also offer activities with the rest of the people staying so the place is perfect for those solo traveller. Honestly if its your first time in El Nido and a little unsure then Spin is the place to stay!!!

Perfect Hostel, Friendly Staff, Value for Money”
Most friendly and helpful staff. The place is great and the bamboo design at the lobby stairs is very instagrammable. It is always kept clean. The single bed is so comfy and it can actually fit two people. Great value for your money as they also offer free breakfast for your stay. Breakfast is simple but it has everything you need in the morning, Coffee, Tea, Egg, Rice, Bread, Butter, Jam and Pancake. They have free Wifi. And it is close to downtown. Around 5-10mins walk to tour boats. They have washing machine that you can use anytime. Spin Hostel feels like you are in your own home. I felt like the staff and other guests are my family. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back and stay here again.

Great staff, delicious breakfast, and comfy beds ”
I was staying in a single private room, and wow! It was incredible. The mattress was memory foam, and I haven’t slept so well in months! The bathroom was clean and the room itself was comfortable. No frills, but very nice. The breakfast was delicious! Pancakes, eggs, fruit, toast, and fresh juice, along with some local treats. I love how friendly and helpful the staff is, they really go above and beyond in cultivating a luxury hostel experience. My only issue is that the WiFi wasn’t super strong, though it’s El Nido, so good WiFi is hard to come by, but I did find better WiFi in town. Also, you had to reconnect every time you locked/unlocked your phone, which was quite annoying.

Cheap Good Place”
The place is fairly located near the town and bars. Accommodating staff. They even served me breakfast when I had to leave early to catch my ferry at 6 am. It was around 5 am when I had my breakfast and this is usually set-up and served at 6 am. Shared bathroom is clean and well-maintained. I was in a mixed room and the happens to be the only girl during my stay but guests (foreign guys) are respectful. So thankful for my first mixed-dorm stay experience. Wish I could've have shared contact details with the England guy 😉 haha. The room is spacious as well and the cabinets. Each bed is equipped with outlets so it's convenient to charge your phones. My stay is all good without problems.

Great Hostel, Good Fun”
Where do I start!! Well with the staff I'd like to thank Don, jessa,Mae,Kevin,Anne and Jerome for making my stay so welcoming and fun. You never stop laughing and caring for your guests. The breakfast is great good selection. Themed evenings fun especially the beer pong night and good BBQ night which gets the hostel interacting. I had a private room which was fine, cleaned daily. So a big thumbs up to all the staff at Spin El Nido won't forget you. Will stay when I'm back In the Philippines next and will spread the word to friends who travel to El Nido. Perfect for a solo traveller”
To summarise I planned to stay in El Nido for 4 nights and I ended up staying for 9!! Spin was amazing, I have never stayed in a hostel like this before. The facilities are first rate! Each bed, even the bunk beds, are queen size, not singles, every bed has 4 plug sockets, and the lockers in the room are big enough to fully unpack and still store your belongings; small details which I felt made a real difference. Outside of the bedrooms the communal spaces are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The lobby is more like a boutique hotel with the most impressive bamboo roof, and then the outside terrace is perfect for sunbathing and partying at night. In the communal spaces the hostel also organise at least one event per day which brings everyone together. While I was there there was BBQ night, Movie Night, Beer Pong Night, Bar Crawl Night, Games Night... the list goes on. Solo travelling can be a little intimidating, but spin removed all the anxiety! My stay at Spin was absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in El Nido - whether on a budget or not. Its location in town is perfect - slightly removed from the noise but still so convenient. The facilities are great, showers and toilets very clean and the overall vibe of the place is really cool and chilled out. The staff go the extra mile to help and it shows - throughout my stay they were so accommodating and friendly, and they create a real community atmosphere too. An absolute must and would 100% stay here again

Great Hostel”
I stayed here for 8 days in the female dorm and it’s really worth every penny. Very affordable place to stay in with buffet breakfast! The room is being cleaned everyday and staff are all friendly. I like how OC the room cleaners are because they really make sure to change the sheet, pillow case and blanket once the guest checked out. I witnessed this myself when the guy returned to our room after cleaning it when he confirmed that the other guest in our room already checked out. Simple things like that are very important and kudos to him for being attentive and doing his job very well. I mean, it’s hard to find employees like that who actually really care. There’s also a laundry area which is very helpful for backpackers like me who don’t bring too much clothes. They also have events every night like bbq night, margarita night, videoke night , etc. to make the evenings fun for their guests. Location is perfect as it is located in the town proper. The only thing I wish they would improve on would be the cleaning of bathrooms/toilets. I think it’s being cleaned once a day, but because there are a lot of people using the facility, it needs more cleaning than once a day. Overall, the place is decently clean with great ambiance.

The best hostel in El Nido”
Spin definitely gives you your money's worth. Their staff is very friendly and more than willing to help you book the activities you want to do, the rooms are clean and are being maintained throughout the day, they serve free buffet breakfast, host different activities every night and not to mention that they are located pretty close to the town proper as well as the beach. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to El Nido!

I had the most amazing stay at Spin Designer Hostel. Don, Mae and Arvie were such wonderful hosts. They really made our holiday unforgettable. They have a theme every night to keep you entertained including wild Pubcrawl nights...if you feel like having a good time or watching a film on movie Night to wind down. Breakfast is included with pancakes, eggs, Fruit and all kinds of breads etc. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. If ever you’re planning to head to El Nido make sure to stay here! Believe me, you will not regret it! Spin Designer is worth every penny!

I Would Definitely Stay At Spin Again!”
I was a bit scared since I was traveling alone for the first time in my home country but the experience was really good, and I'm glad I booked at Spin. From the rooms, bathroom and common area -- everything was clean. Plus points since it had free breakfast and the staff were extremely nice. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends!

Exceptional”
Not sure if this is a hostel or a cozy hotel. It gave me a piece of home in El Nido. I love all their staff especially the guards and the dude by the front desk (I forgot his name), really friendly, polite, and helpful. If you'd check as late as 12 midnight, that would be no problem. They have an open hotel design with lush greeneries that doesn't have a lot of mosquitoes. They have a patio/smoking area, an ironing area, and laundry area which is really important if you have an island hopping tour. Common places were also clean. I love how the private rooms have windows. Hot and cold shower/faucet works. WIFI is really good. I just wish their breakfast could have one more protein like a bacon or a hotdog. They could do it for an additional price perhaps? Sir Don checks on the guests regularly which was nice. Even though we had long checked out, they allowed us to stay by the lounge and use their facilities. I hope they expand to different tourist destinations. What's not to love here?

Best hostel I've stayed at. ”
This hostel was great, nice location walking distance to town, the best hotel / hostel breakfast I've had. Was really easy to meet people and the rooms was very spacious. Nice hot powerful showers, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if in el nido. My only complaint would be the loud music they had one night till 23.00 , a party night. But it was only the once. So can live with that. WiFi worked great too.

SUPERB HOSTEL”
I stayed here last february as a solo traveller. You’d be suprised how chic this hostel looks like, it’s more like a hotel more than a hostel actually. I only stayed for a week but SPIN felt like home. And the best part of staying here is their BREAKFAST!! I never actually thought i’d eat heavy breakfast everyday since it’s buffet style. Shoutout to Sir Dondon and the rest of the team! You guys are the best! Hope to see you again soon ☺️

Staff were accommodating and friendly. Rooms and CR are clean. I like their activities for their guests - Beer Pong, BBQ Party, Gender Bender etc. Well maintained place. Very homey feeling. Will definitely go back to this hostel.

We stayed for a week. Everything you need is here! Location, fast wifi, awesome rooms, dining and chill area, shared bathroom... They offer FREE delectable breakfast as well. But what stands out the most is the generosity and awesomeness of the staff. They took care of us very well. Kudos to Sir Don Don and Team Spin Designer. We will definitely be back!

This is one of the best place to stay in El Nido. Be it you’re a backpacker or traveling with a group. Exemplary service. Hostel manager, Don, will face and accomodate you himself. Stayed here again for the 2nd time. The lady at the reception immediately recognized me as a returning guest. The staff are nice and helpful. The common cr is clean and always dry. Doesn’t feel like a common toilet at all. Will stay here again and again and again

Everything is awesome! Rooms are clean, spacious and well lit. Bathrooms and toilets are clean and well maintained. Food is almost same every day. Hope they can showcase the Filipino food during breakfast.
