Great location, wonderful hotel, good athmosphere ”
We enjoyed our stay very much. Shared bathroom facilities, which made the price very good for the central location. The bathrooms were very clean and we never had to wait for other guest. Washing basin in the room which was very nice.

Excellent value ”
This was a great budget hotel to use as a base . We read the reviews so nothing was a surprise. The room was small, no lift, no kettle etc but we knew this beforehand and in no way negatively impacted our holiday. The room was clean, and we were on the top floor and it was really quiet. The room was serviced every day. The weather was really warm and so the room was a bit stuffy but that's not the fault of the owners. We bought a fan and we survived! We had a great holiday and would stay here again.

Centrally located hotel in a historical structure”
Very much enjoyed my stay here and loved the hotel’s historical feel and no-frills vibe. I had a nice top floor room that had everything I needed. The stairs were steep since it is an older building, but I had read other reviews beforehand and didn’t mind. Bathrooms were more than enough and pretty clean. The staff was also accommodating and helpful. Overall a great place to stay if you’re looking for a room to yourself in the middle of the city.

Smooth Operation”
Definitely had a great stay here. We came for the night from Cambridge and really enjoyed it. The location was ideal and the staff were really kind. The room was very clean and we were totally comfortable. Only two cons: 1 The room had a funny smell but it didn't knock the stay. 2 Our TV didn't work. We turned it on but no channels were available which was kind of a bummer with a toddler.

Great budget hotel”
Great value for money, very close to a Russell square tube and bus stop as well as King's Cross station. Room and shower were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it especially if you're on a budget.

Budget-priced, and though the room was small it was plenty big enough, comfy, and really warm - almost too warm! Nice clean bathrooms which were well fitted-out, and cleverly placed so shower rooms are not near the bedrooms.

Beautiful place with such friendly staff in a great location”
We came to stay just for 2 nights as we travelled around London and it was a great choice! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a good size for the short amount of time we were there. The facilities were always clean as well. The staff were some of the most friendly I’ve come across! The location was great with a lot of restaurants around and right by the Tube station. If we stay in London again we would probably look to stay here again :)

Great for a night”
While the staff was incredible and rooms up to date and clean, I asked for a large bed and no smoking room. While I’ve been to London several times and expected a smallish flat, I was shocked to find my bed the size of my cot at home and a room so small in one direction I could touch both opposite walls at the same time. The other inconvenience for many will be the toilets and showers are not in your room so you will have to stroll the hallway to use the facilities. That aside, it location is great, the rooms are clean and the staff is accommodating. For a solo traveler, it was great!

Lovely staff, clean room , Great location ”
We had an en-suite room with 1 double and 1 bunk bed for a girls weekend (4 adults) , room to put wkend bags under the bunk beds, double bed was comfortable and was told so were the bunks, very small shower/toilet pod , but manageable. Location fantastic short walk from Russell Square tube (3-5 mins) , quite on a night, a lovely cafe below hotel which we used for breakfast, food and service was lovely. Hotel stored our luggage ( no fee) for a few hrs on our last day, for the price for a girls wkend brilliant
