Stay with style and comfortability at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel ”
My son and I had an excellent time staying at St. Pancras Hotel during our trip in London. We had a warm and friendly welcome by the door man, receptionist and all the staffs we met. The hotel assigned a very clean, nicely decorated room on the high floor for us. We had great convenient to travel around the inner city of London on foot on the sunshiny day, while we can choose to travel by bus or subway or even taxi on the rainy day. We highly recommended this hotel for all travelers (solo, couples, family or even businessman).

Lovely!”
Gabriele was fantastic and exceeded all our expectations- thank you. One small thing, we would like to have dined in other reastaurants as we were limited to just the Hanson restaurant for breakfast and evening meals. We do understand that our stay was just after 19th July when lockdown restrictions were lifted.

Book for convenience”
Ideal for early Eurostar travel. Rooms large and comfortable. Staff excellent. Deep pockets required for the original restored hotel accommodation , newer extension within London budget expectations.

The hotel was not set up as I expected. The staff were however exceptional in helping with a personal problem which developed

on the decline..”
Stayed here many times over the years, this was first time felt it is very over-priced/not value for money. There are obvious signs of cost and quality cutting, while the price has increased, presumably based on past reputation. Also staff attitudes are not what they used to be - however Marriot are managing them, on a tight 'corporate ethos' rein it seems, they have lost the confident, 'autonomous' vibe that used to be there, which it apart from local/London rivals. I won't be using this hotel again unless it is much, much cheaper..and friendly again!

Poor service, unsafe”
Watch out for the central location - it’s noisy and at times even unsafe! The experience is certainly not helped by the poor service we received, evident when the porter dropped our luggage and spoilt a lock right before we were departing for the airport. Accidents happen, but we were much more upset at the attitude the staff displayed, as they attempted to shirk responsibility for the incident. Until now, we have not heard anything about compensation.

Everything is Good but the Staff”
St Pancras Renaissance London is really well located just connected by the train station - very convenient to go anywhere around London. The price was also very friendly for this big chain hotel. Even though the building is very old, the room is big and not just the room but everywhere in the hotel is very clean. I love the spa even more. If you go to London for traveling, I recommend you to get a spa or massage, even the short one. Although, I was very disappointed with the staff. We had a very early check-out due to our early international flight. And they charged us double just because they can't find the right paperwork during our check-out time. So we got charged by Agoda, then by the hotel with of course higher price because the use the hotel rate straight away. Thank God it was resolved by super helpful Agoda team, and we got our refund by the next 8 weeks.

Good enjoyable stay”
Centrally located where we could travel around the city using the subway. The subway is just below the St Pancras Station. Decent food can be found within and nearby the train station. Am glad to have known St Pancras hotel.

A stay in Kings Cross”
What a brilliant hotel and priced right for the business traveler. I am so glad that I found it and that it was so convenient to Kings Cross station for my ride out to Cambridge. I will be back on my next trip.

Great service and location”
The location of the hotel was perfect as it was close to the very centre of London. The room was ok but the window was a little small to get enough sunlights. There are many guests but as the receptionists were quick and friendly, it was a great stay overall.

Stunning Service in a Stunning Hotel”
At every stage the staff were perfect. The right blend of welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic without being in your face. The hotel is in a wonderful building that has been elegantly adapted from its original Victorian railway station to a functioning hotel. I had paid for an upgrade to a room in the old part of the building. I didn't see the room I had originally booked and to be honest I would have been SO disappointed to be anywhere other than the old part of the building..so I guess, check this out if that's what you are expecting.

Grand building right next to the Eurostar terminal”
Comfortable and relatively spacious room, but a disappointing view (on a wall). Good breakfast and professional staff. The main plus is the proximity to the Eurostar terminal (there is a direct connection from the hotel). Well connected to London public transportation as well.

Good stay, room very small for price. Location very good, easy access to London, transport and international train station.

Bad Customer Setvice at a 5 star London hotel”
The rooms and the entire ambience is spectacular. This has beautiful ceiling and it remains one of old London hotels. Its weird that you have to walk through the lobby to get to the gym. Not well planned if you ask but its okay as the gym though not big is sufficiently equipped. Location is good and its central London This is the end of a good experience. The staff were slow and unresponsive to customers needs. So I complained to the duty manager about it but whilst she said action will be taken nothing happened. So I complained to the hotel group the Manager in charge of the premises wrote an email to me saying I dont understand what you are saying. How rude of him!!!!! Then when I made a request for my invoice to be sent via email they sent me the invoice of another guest. No apologies was made. I will advise guests that to avoid this hotel as they are not kind to business travelers whom they think are not of a certain standard.

St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel”
Not a 5 Star experience. The restaurant was fully booked and we had to take dinner at a very small and low table in the crowded and noisy bar. The food at best was mediocre and grossly overpriced ( £68 for one course each, 1 glass of wine and 2 beers). Breakfast was also scheduled to be taken in the bar so we declined it and eat elsewhere. The gents washroom floor (off the coffee shop) was awash with urine and needed cleaning. The room en suite was only supplied with one small piece of soap for the bath, shower and basin for 2 people, and shower/bath gel bottle was half empty not having been replaced after the last room occupant. In the morning an envelope was pushed under the room door in which was an invoice for the full amount of the stay (less food, drink and minibar). I was invited to sign it,return it to Reception and my credit card would be charged. (so allowing a fast departure !!) However since I had already prepaid I was not impressed to be asked to pay again !! This is extremely poor administration. After checking out I requested to speak with the duty manager. I told her of my concerns, gave her a written copy after which she turned on her heel and returned to her office WITHOUT COMMENT. AS one can imagine I was even less impressed with this 5(??) Star Hotel

Beautiful hotel. Basic room”
You can experience most of the unique charm of this hotel by going for a drink at the Booking Office and wandering around the parts of the hotel open to the public. Yes, the pool and spa and charming but £400 p/night for a basic room with absolutely no view makes the value questionable. Pros: Great location, beautiful hotel. Gym and spa facilities are first class and very clean. Extremely well trained and polite staff Good breakfast Good concierge services. Cons Not many decent extras in the room: a Nespresso machine. 2 biscuits and two bottles of water per day. Where are the little interesting extras that make your stay unique and personal? For £400 I expect more. Housekeeping is lax - requested sheet change. Wasn’t done. Corridors often have room service plates left out all day. Basic room is an ok size but absolutely no view. More like a decent Premier Inn than a 5 star hotel.
