Amazing service with lovely surroundings. ”
The ride from the airport to Sta Monica was about 20 minutes through a van with some traffic jam. It went through the downtown areas and the only proper mall on the island. The service of the hotel staff’s was very nice, you can enquire for all the information you need and they are very helpful. We stayed here for one night and had a very good experience. There were a lot of options in the breakfast buffet, with various kinds of meat.

Sta. Monica is a nice, calm and relaxing place to stay especially with couple or family for that matter. It was easy to locate, transportation was convenient. Friendly staff. Cleanliness and close to the beach are plus factors.

I really liked Sta Monica because of their very friendly and efficient staff. The only problem I encountered which I have raised already was BED BUGS! They should really do something about it. I have sent them a message via FB. I love the resort but the bed bugs really ruined it for me, my daughter and some of our other family members.

The location is incorrect on several hotel booking websites and on google maps, it's somewhat out of the city. The reason for booking this hotel is because we had both medical and visa appointments in Dumagete city. The hotel, as a good will gesture happily provided transport to/from the appointments which was a big help. There isn't much to do in the evening, and the resort is somewhat remote. The menu is pretty good, but for more than a few nights stay you'd want to venture 20/30 minutes to town. Hotel restaurant is a strange big space, perhaps because there are so few guests. The entire resort was clean with the expection of the pool, some surface debris which cannot be helped but the floor of the pool looked grubby. The beach was dirty, and cordoned off by a rope wall, pretty from a distance but certainly no beach club and not somewhere I'd opt for, even over the grubby pool. The staff were lovely and attentive, friendly and helpful, huge 5* to all of them.

Hello Agoda, This is Tony Kawakami St.Monica Beach club is good view,But very far from town.All staff are very friendly. But there beer is so expensive(80 Pesos) even I compare other hotel is around 50 to 65 pesos. They do not have good restaurant and they do not know how to cook,I told them tell your owner that better close the restaurant.I got big problem with them regarding WiFi network problems and I could not download my emails.But they did hard and soul to fix my problem,After two day's later I did download my all emails,I cannot give on time answer to my client.For me I will never stay that kind of hotel.Hope this information would better help to Agoda... We enjoyed our staycation here...the staff were helpful & attentive to the needs of their guests though i was surprised that they charged us on the hotel/airport shuttle when it was stated that they offer free shuttle ( accdg to them its free when you booked directly to them😕). The rooms were clean and they have comfy beds but internet was so slow & poor.

The place needs maintenance. Room smelt damp and musty. Room was clean though and nice bed and linen etc. While staff were pretty inefficient they were lovely. Ready smile and helpful. Hotel is OK but needs fixing it they are pitching it at that price point.

Relaxing place”
Sad to say we only spend few hours but it could have been a relaxing getaway... I do hope they will find a way to control mosquitos and the cleanliness in the rooms. Have more massues on peak days and availability of the kitchen even until 12mn.. Overall it was ok

This hotel is old. Please sell it to someone that has the money to keep it maibtained. At dinner time we waited more than an hour. After 50 minutes we got up to ask where our dinner was. No one came to let us know it would take long. Then when we went to the bar, it was the same waiter from the restaurant. That’s why he never came to tell us our food would take long. He’s doing 2 jobs at the same time. Some of the staff also lives on the property. Overall everyone was nice but this hotel is in need of a major overhaul. Other than the location and friendliness of the staff, I would not recommend staying here.
