Stansted lodge Hotel is my go to place when I have an early flight, my room was clean , bed comfortable, clean fresh linen, tea coffee supplied, I had a good night's sleep so my very early start was tolerable

Excellent airport stopover”
As the name suggests the property is not suitable for anything but an airport stopover at Stansted, but highly suitable for that purpose. Clean, with helpful and friendly staff and much bigger than standard hotel rooms.

Brilliant little place that suited my needs very well. For the price you would expect it to be a lot worse but honestly I was very pleasantly surprised at the standards here: very welcoming and helpful staff despite the late hour, comfy and well made-up bed, and good facilities (good WIFI, well-supplied bathroom and living area ). If I had to look for a downside it would be the distance to the airport as I had trouble getting to the hotel in the night and had to take an expensive taxi. In reality I'm sure there are cheaper options than a taxi to get there and in the daytime there is a bus that stops right outside the hotel and takes you directly to the airport. All in all, the Stansted Airport Lodge is perfect for a quick stopover whilst travelling!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Just a few minutes via taxi from the airport. Huge rooms. Great for exhausted travellers or those weigh early flights. Only downside is there aren’t many shops in the immediate area , aside from that everything‘s great.

Close to AirPort, which was nice as me and my friend had to get up real early. Separate bathroom and room which was great when travelling with your friend. Large comfy rooms. Ok bed. A bit “outdated” inside colour wise, but that didn’t matter to us.

Great for an Early Flight”
It’s very basic but all you need if you’re on an early flight out from Stansted. 6-8 min drive from the airport. Room is basic and the TV didn’t work but bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable, it was a quiet area and good parking right outside. Would stay again.

I was having trouble booking a taxi for when I needed it in the morning to get to the airport and the owner drove me to the bus stop at 3:30am so ai could catch my flight. I’ve never stayed anywhere where the staff would be even half as helpful as these guys were!

I phoned when I arrived at the Aiport for the shuttle bus and was told I had to wait 50 minutes. After an hour in the cold' wind and rain I phoned again and they knew nothing about me!! but did finally come for £8.00. The room was warm, comfotable, clean and a nice view from the window, very satisfactory. They ordered a taxi for me for 5.00 am in the morning ( 15 mins to the airport £ 12.00 )
