we made the right choice choosing stellar of the seas! it was so memorable that I am still missing the times we had onboard. from the time the transport picked us up from our Hanoi hotel till the time we checked out of our cabins, everything was smooth and pleasant. staff were very friendly and professional.. facilities were new and clean. we even saw the staff scrubbing the exterior of the balcony when we checked out! this is not a big ship so it was easy to make new friends..and definitely the best service can be given to guests. the staff do their best to accommodate to your requests and make you feel at home.. activities were organised but optional. fancy a day doing nothing and just relaxing? no problem just stay onboard and skip the outdoor activities. this is a relaxing cruise and we enjoyed every moment sailing at Lan Ha Bay. every morning a stunning view greets us at our balcony. every photo turned out beautiful. special thanks to the lovely staff and we will definitely be back!!! 👍👍👍👍👍

Wow! What an amazing experience. The Stellar of the Seas is by far and away the nicest ship in Ha Long Bay. At the outset of the cruise you’ll see the competition and believe me, you’ll be happy with your choice. While a bit more expensive than other options, you get what you pay for in the BEST way. Where to start... the rooms are gorgeous! We were super fortunate to be upgraded to the presidential suite and wow. I cannot describe how beautiful it was. That being said, we peeked into some of the other cabins and they were all beautiful. The ship itself (and the cabins) are brand new, spotless, and very well maintained. We did the 2 day/1 night stay and it was perfect. While we would’ve loved to stay another day, and it would’ve been even more relaxing, we didn’t feel like we missed out doing just the 2 days. The activities were great because they were interesting but not too time consuming so you still get to relax on the boat. The row boat to the caves was particularly nice and kayaking on our own was also fun! The food was great and there was plenty of it. As others have mentioned, drinks were more expensive than on land but still around the same price as in the US so it didn’t really bother us. Also as others have mentioned the WiFi was definitely spotty but honestly we enjoyed disconnecting from the world — if you spend the entire cruise on your phone, what’s the point! I also don’t think this was an issue that could be controlled (the area just has poor coverage in general) so I doubt other ships offer better. Last but not least the service was fantastic. Everyone was smiling all the time and provided everything we needed. Thanks to Tom and the whole crew for a fantastic experience!

The BEST of the BEST”
I'm not sure I have adequate words to describe just how amazing and extraordinary my experience at Stellar of the Seas was. As a solo traveler I worried about probably feeling isolated, but my fears quickly subsided because the crew members made me feel like I was surrounded by great friends. They went over and beyond to ensure everyone was having the time of their lives. I was afraid of going kayaking by myself and one of the crew members offered without hesitation to accompany me. How awesome is that!!. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was so well planned out. The activities were fun and unrushed, basically you could choose to relax and enjoy the views or jump into activities. Both great options. The cabins were exquisite!! Very clean, and cozy with views that were just surreal. I can't wait to get on this cruise again. And to see my friends aka crew again. Wish I could recall all of their names, but Tom and Windy were so awesome!!!

The experience with Stella was the truly the best of the best. I am a frequent traveler and very picky on my accommodation. But the service at the Stella was beyond my expectation. I have 13 year old daughter so we stayed in two connecting rooms. Rooms and bathrooms are so big that you don't even remember you are in a cruise. Spotless clean and luxuries. Meals were so good. specially the bbq dinner was very good. But most amazing thing was the level of the customer service. All the staffs were so professional. For any request or needs, they responded so fast and promptly with beautiful smile.We stayed in Vietnam for 10 days and the night at the Stella was the highlight of the trip. Only regret is that we didn't stay for the 2nd night. I strongly recommend to anyone who thinking of stay at Stella, definitely worth 2 nights. An exceptional Ha Long Bay experience”
From beginning to end our experience on Stellar of the Seas was exceptional. The crew were warm and welcoming, nothing was any trouble and they genuinely wanted to ensure the best experience possible. Activities on the cruise weren't rushed everything was at a great pace and crew tour guides were happy to match the pace of the group. Great stories and insight too on local sights and culture. The senior suite is well appointed, having a bath looking at the bay is a surreal experience as was sitting on a private glass balcony. I was grinning ear to ear be it in bath, bed or balcony the views are stunning from the suite. The Captain finds the most beautiful views of the bay and even though the bay is busy he managed to get us to the best locations each day for the best views. The amenities on board are wondeful too, whilst playing card games and relaxing in the bar the bar staff picked great music and were fun to watch dancing and playing behind the bar. Great energy and vibe! Food was amazing, every meal. I loved the BBQ on the first night, particularly the selection of seafood and bbq lamb. The egg coffee was great, I wish I ordered it earlier and way things are served are just beautiful too. Thank you Tom, you are a wonderful thoughtful and energetic cruise director. Oliva for her attentive and friendly service, as well as her casual and warm conversations. Henry our tour guide, we never felt rushed and you made the day fun and memorable. This is the premiere cruise of Ha Long Bay with out a doubt, exceptional!

Best Halong Bay/Lan Ha Bay cruise”
Chose this ship based on appearance alone, but I was blown away with the exceptional service the entire team provided. From the easy transfer to and from Hanoi, OLD quarter. The exquisitely charming staff, good at making sure I felt comfortable, in another language. The staff were great, always smiling, and happy to make sure my glass was never empty. They were all joyful, and polite, and very patient with my less than ideal Vietnamese speaking skills. The cruise all in all was fantastic, even with the lack of sunshine, still an amazing time. Would definitely recommend based on comfort, quality, and friendliness and attentiveness of the entire staff. 3 day 2 nights exactly enough. Also available was 2 day 1 night, but would probably be too short and would miss out on some of the cultural excursions.

The cruise was definitely beautiful with amazing amenities but it's the staff's service that made this cruise truly memorable. Harry made sure we had a comfortable stay and even helped us take an amazing drone video capturing the beauty of halong bay. Tracy and Andrew were always there to take care of any requests we had. I am a vegetarian and they made sure I had an amazing variety of food to choose from. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your cruise is memorable. 10/10 would recommend it, we hope to travel with them again in future!

The best cruise in Halong Bay”
From the time they pick you up to the moment they drop you off back in Hanoi the service was excellent. The staff have a very good system to make sure every guest is happy and enjoys their holiday. The boat is like a mega yacht, super luxury, new and modern. The rooms are beautiful, the balcony views, the bed comfort, the bathrooms are amazing. The food is also really good, my favorite was the dinner bbq. All the staff is constantly making sure you get what you need. All the activities are super fun!

There are many boats in Halong Bay, different levels of comfort and prices and Stellar of the Seas had an amazing cost/ value ratio. The boat itself is fantastic with great facilities, a gorgeous modern aesthetic, not too many rooms and the staff is beyond nice. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, that you feel welcomed and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the food options, the customer service and my room. Nothing can beat the sitting on the balcony, gliding through the bay. It was so peaceful; an all around great experience

You won't find a nicer boat in Halong Bay”
Stellar of the Seas is one of the newest boats on the bay. It's gorgeous, top to bottom - and my son and I didn't see a nicer boat during our entire 3 day/2 night cruise. But that's not all. Being a newer boat, the staff is eager to live up to the quality of their appearance. Everyone on the boat is super friendly and they want to help however they can. The food is excellent. As vegetarians, we were more difficult to accommodate. But they made us special meals anyway! Even with that, they promised to expand their menu in the future, to cater better to special requests, like ours. They truly want to be the best. As for the cruise itself - it was perfect. Wonderful that one day was dedicated to the far less crowded Lan Ha Bay. All the beauty of Halong Bay - without all the other boats getting in the way of your pictures! Probably the best boat in the area depending on what your looking for. A lot of boats are more classical or traditional. This boat has a nice sleek trendy look from the inside and outside. We chose the 3 days 2 nights and it was really worth it. The staff was great and Sunny really made the sun shine on our daytrips. There are some things I would do differently there is live piano but this is more classical oriented I would opt for a more of a jazzy or lounge piano style and some of the food options are also a bit more classical and French oriented which can be good if done well but for me personaly it was a bit bland which is of coarse normal as everybody needs to like it. But for me the look and feel of the boat ask for a nice fusion of Asian dishes which I think is also easier to accomplish with the local products and spices and herbs as we did like the Vietnamese dishes we got onboard. Overall one of the best vacations experiences we ever had.

I cannot express enough how wonderful my trip was on the Stellar of the Seas! Between the stunning boat, the fun excursions and the WONDERFUL crew (especially Abbie, Sarah, James, David, Harley and Olivia!), the cruise was perfect. The beautiful boat (which felt like a floating 5-star hotel) was home for my 3 day/2 night cruise, and as other reviews mentioned, our ship went through Halong Bay (with 500 boats) and Lan Ha Bay (only 30 boats), so it was both peaceful and we felt like we were on an exclusive adventure. The staff created a great environment for all of the guests to mix and mingle in a luxurious and relaxed environment, which led to lovely day excursions and nightly dinner and drinks. I really can't think of anything negative to stay, I only wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Excellent time on Stellar of the Seas”
We had truly first class service on this cruise of Lan HA Bay. The food was great but the service was top notch. We watched as they laid down towels for us to sit in the row boat that ever cruise uses for the dark & light cave tour. All the other boats just put their guests onto the row boat but ours made sure every guest sat on a towel and helped each guest on. During dining services the boat staff would hold the babies or help entertain the children so us parents could eat. Absolutely fabulous service.

2day 1nigjt cruise. Beautiful yacht with very attentive staff. Food was amazing, with mainly seafood being served however bbq dinner had steak and lamb also. We travelled in low season so we felt that the price was very good value. Cruise route was very good also as there we very few boats around us. Cruise was also peaceful and at times we felt like we had the entire boat to ourself. This cruise was definitely the highlight of our time in vietnam

The cruise has optimal combination of scenic, quieter journey since it's by bigger speed boat, nice unhurried activities, lovely personnels and program.
