Good location”

Location in terms of access to motorway (M6) as well as proximity to lake District.
OK all round

We used the hotel as a transit stop on our way from Scotland to the SE of England. As such, its proximity to the M6 motorway was a major bonus. I would imagine the hotel would also be a good base from which to visit various sites in the Lake District. The room was comfortable, staff were friendly and the service was good.
