Well we knew it wasn't going to be 5 star when we booked and it was as we expected for the price we paid. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and room was pleasantly comfortable. Location was great and it was only a short walk to Stratford with its shops and restaurants. The reason we stayed was to attend our daughters graduation which was an early start at Queen Mary's in Mile End. We have previously had problems with trains and didn't want to chance travelling in in the morning. Instead we had a relaxed evening, a good night's sleep (it was very quiet) and a nice breakfast before getting our taxi (booked by reception staff) to arrive at the event on time. We would definitely return to The Viking for similar reasons.

We definitely enjoyed our stay in this nice & trendy Hotel in Stratford London! Just a few steps away from Westfield shoping paradise and 5 min by train from the center of London. The only thing Moxy definitely need to change is the the wardrobe space in the rooms! Just a few hangers ( 5 to be exact) is obviously insufficient when travelers stay more then one night.

I was a little worried as this hotel was so cheap compared to everywhere else but it was a lovely stay. Staff were very friendly. The room was very small but we were only staying one night so fine and it was clean which is the main thing. Convenient for the O2, just a couple of stops on the tube from Stratford station. No issues with the walk back to the hotel after the show. Breakfast was lovely and included in the room price which is a bonus! Only criticism here is that they don't seem to advertise the hot food on offer. I will definitely stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay in a top-floor room with views of the Olympic Park, which despite now resembling a building site in places is still an impressive view from such an elevated position. Transport links for both public transport and by road are good (parking is currently discounted to only £5 per 24hr in the adjoining Stratford Centre car park). There is a wide selection of international shops and restaurants within the Stratford Centre and as a result we did not eat at the hotel, although as a Priority Club Gold member I was given a voucher for a free drink in the bar on the 3rd floor which has a terrace overlooking the Olympic Park should you not be as lucky as us and have this view from your room. The hotel itself is a typical modern Holiday Inn establishment, offering comfortable accommodation of a decent standard with the Stratford hotel being better than an average HI, or other 3*, hotel (largely due to Stratford being a relatively new hotel). The one thing which disappointed me on this particular trip was the failure to oblige my request for a complimentary upgrade to an Executive room; I am often offered this on 1-night says in other HI hotels within London when I frankly do not care either way and yet on this occasion I found the rather rude response that I could upgrade to one of several 'available' Executive rooms to be rather disappointing on what was a romantic night away with my wife. While I appreciate that this was a request to which I am not automatically entitled having not yet attained Platinum status, I found the poor customer service disappointing in light of the available rooms and the ordinarily accommodating attitude of other branches of HI. Overall I would recommend HI Stratford as my ratings make clear, and would stay here again for business/pleasure in central London (tube journey on the Central line to Bank is 10 mins, West End 15mins).

Nice and very affordable apparments. We had the one room appartment with balcony and own bathroom. Very spacious. Kitchen is well equipped. Good oven. Handsoap, toiletpaper and shampoo are supplied. Neighbourhood is fine. We never felt unsafe. 2 tube stops from Westfield Stratford Shopping Center. Londen City is about 30 minutes. Clean towels and cleaning every day. Owners are locals so they know the neighbourhood. Early check in was no problem. After checkout we had an empty car battery and they arranged help within 5 minutes. We had a very nice stay.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Styles London Leyton Hotel. Every time I needed some help with anything (I am a low tech person), the staff were on it right away and very pleasant about it. Although my room was right next to the elevator, I never heard any comings and goings, despite being a light sleeper. The cleanliness was also impressive, and the hotel very efficiently run and maintained. Many thanks for a great stay!

Just 5 minutes walk from Westfield Stratford Shopping Center and the Olympic Village, this was just perfect located. Just minutes to walk from bus/railwaystation too, and the centre of London is just a tube ride away. The apartment was lovely decorated, clean and a toatly home away from home. Good value for money as well, cheaper than staying in central London, and all the highstreet shops gathered in one place, instead of spread around.

I read some really awful reviews of this hotel before arriving so was apprehensive about my stay, but it wasn't needed. My room had a bed, wardrobe, sink, mirror, radiator, hairdryer, TV and chair. It was a simple room which reflects the modest price, but it wasnt filthy and didnt have mould which I was worried about, it was a nice simple room. The staff were really nice, I went in July and because there is no air conditioning in the room, it did get really heated at night. One bad thing is that the walls are quite thin and I was woken a few times by other guests slamming doors, which seemed to reverberate through the whole hotel. Also the bathrooms are shared, there was a roll of toilet paper in the room. It takes about 15 mins to walk into stratford city centre from this hotel which is fine for me and the checkout is a little early at 11:00am. It's a good place if you just need to rest your head somewhere for a night, not good for relaxing and I would say if you have a business meeting or presentation in the morning, this may not be the best place to relax and prepare before.

Location was prime, close to the Stratford center and Westfield mall and Stratford station. Bus stops were super close, less than a min walk. Lots of food (and halal) options were on walking distance. The room rates fluctuated between £35 and £170 a night which didn’t make sense to me though. The staff was helpful and very decent. I didn’t face any issues staying at the ibis.

Although hotel in Stratford was far from London city center (45 Pounds by taxi from Victoria Station), both bus and metro stations were 10 minutes walk, along with Sainsbury's Supermarket next to them. Pros: Great supporting staff, they were helpful, friendly with smiles. Room was clean, well decorated and updated, iron and ironing board, everything that a traveler could ask for, even a Smart Phone was available to bring along. Business Center allowed computer access, a nice and reasonably priced restaurant available for breakfast, lunch and dinner in premise, foods were excellent! Cons: far from London Center, only rain shower available without regular shower head, shower door sealing needed work that water leaked through to bathroom floor. Overall great bang for your bucks, great value if you don't mind the location. Would I recommend and go back again? Highly!!!

Needed a place to stay overnight, internet access was a must. The hotel did not offer breakfast, but that was OK with me. The Morrissons' supermarket was around the corner and was open until 10 pm on working days. The room had a coffee maker that was useful for boiling water for making instant noodles. Stratford station was about 8 min walk away, more or less straight line, if you go through Stratford mall. Bus to Stansted airport left also conveniently from Stratford station.
