Stylish and Comfortable City Centre Apartment

Very clean, everything you need is provided. Great location, just a short walk to the centre. Lovely places to eat and drink close by. Hosts gave lots of handy information beforehand.

The apartment was really nice and had everything you need. Although it is in an old house it was shortly renovated and in good condition. We did not have contact to the owner in person. The key was easily to pick up in a locker. The kitchen is quite small but has everything to prepare a small dinner.

The only thing is that the bed is quite small. It is ok for 2 small persons to sleep in but just be aware that it is not a king size bed. Overall we had a nice stay there :)

the bed was too small for us as my husband is 6ft 5 tall. However I don’t know what could be done to resolve this and this is only a personal view which didn’t detract from the apartment itself. it had other benefits which made up for it, namely the location, facilities and transport all within very easy reach.

when I opened the front door was met with a not so clean very dull old fashioned metal twisted staircase not very well lit and a bit creepy would put me off returning

The apartment was very nice, located very close to public transport, in a quiet area and excellent value for the money, considering accommodation prices in the city. It had everything we needed for a short stay. We appreciated the fact that the heating was turned on when we arrived late in the evening. Edinburgh is quite cold even in summer, but the temperature in the apartment was perfect. Everything was very clean and the double bed, although small (standard double bed size in the UK), was very comfortable. Excellent communication with the staff/owner, we got all the information we needed and checking in was super easy. They really did go above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay there and we even got a small refund because the cooker was not working temporarily. In terms of communication and care for the customer, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had anywhere I stayed in the world!

Maybe just the fact that the curtains in the bedroom don't completely block out the light. We were there during some of the shortest nights of the year, meaning sunrise was super early (4 AM-ish), making it difficult to get proper sleep - but this is just me and I doubt any other place would have had it better.

The ambiance of the flat is really soothing for us, especially the weather complimented it. We love it during sunrise and the sunrays goes inside the flat through the windows. The place is clean and smells fresh and quite accessible to local transportation.

The building entrance/corridor/stairs looks creepy at first. More bright lighting will be really welcome since the lights along the stairs were a bit dim.

The apartment looks really cute and it's super clean. We did not need to meet anyone for picking up the key, but we got it from the lock box. Alastair messaged us upfront the lock code & other check-in details. During our stay, we basically had everything we needed. We also messaged one of the hosts every time we had a question and we got a really quick reply.

Hide the wiring in the living room

I loved this cute apartment. Close to downtown a short walk. The apartment looks onto a garden with a big tree filled with sweet birds. All the furnishings are beautifully suited. Washer was quiet and helpful. The bedroom was warm and cozy. Plenty of hanging space. Iron and ironing board. Smart Tv and wifi was fast. Bathroom was seperate from the wonderful rain shower and sink. Close to food shopping, pubs and cafes. Eclectic bookstores and music venues on the Walk. The host was professional and friendly. Communication was perfect. love love loved this cute place in a Scottish town.

Really clear instructions for getting keys. Parking close by. Location ideal for getting around Leith and into Edinburgh centre. Flat really nice, quiet and homely.

Absolutely nothing.

This apartment was in a great location as we could walk to the city centre and landmarks easily. It was lovely and clean with all the facilities we needed for self-catering. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay here again.

The property was excellent, nice and warm with everything we needed. Central to where we wanted to be, with lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants just at the end of the street. Would definitely recommend it to any age group as long as they can manage the stairs. Thanks again Ben for an excellent stay.

lovely and cosy and just what you need for a weekend away. the hosts were really friendly and gave us the correct and helpful instructions prior to our stay.

the only issue was the roadworks around the property that caused a bit of disruption and confusion when getting Ubers etc, the instructions given said we could get an Uber for around £5 from Edinburgh Waverley but in a lot of cases these were £15-20 because of the diversions. this can’t be helped though and it’s not a reflection on the property at all - just unfortunate!

a lovely little apartment within 20 minute walk into the centre. the apartment had everything you needed for a short or long term stay. special mention for the shower aswell.
