Subic Holiday Villas is at a great location, the staff were very friendly and we are very satisfied with the 2 bedroom Deal that I was able to purchase. The room was spacious and the food menu was very affordable. The pool is big and was like a Hotspring which makes it so comforting for us! There are areas for improvement though like the telephone lines to call the reception and the WiFi inside the room. Hopefully these can be fixed/added soon. But overall, we will definitely come back. Peaceful and Lush Hotel”
The hotel is inside SBMA, if you would want to get away from the crowded zone, this hotel is definitely for you. We wanted a hotel that is quiet and beautiful, found this one at a very good price. It was way better than expected. It's only a kilometer or less from the bustling Subic. The lush mountain at the back makes it different from the rest of the hotels there. It makes cool esp early in the morning. The pool area is big. Our daughter loved their kiddie pool so much too. The staff were polite and helpful. They attended well to our concerns. We will surely be staying there again.

Comfortable stay in a serene location”
We had a pleasant stay at Subic Holiday Villas. We were initially booked in a room on the third floor but were accommodated in a first floor room in the front building when we requested for it. The room smelled very musty though when we first came in that we had to ask for several spritz of air freshener all over the room. The heater was not working efficiently so expect cold showers and baths. The kids' pool was only 3 feet deep so our kids were able to enjoy swimming. The food was a disappointment though. If you want better tasting food, I suggest you go out and dine elsewhere. There are plenty of restos in the Freeport Zone so you have plenty of choices. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They do attend to requests immediately.

Big clean rooms & Free Meals at reasonable price”
The hotel complex, an RCI affiliate, was located on its own in a rather secluded area so a private car is a must. Well, to properly enjoy Subic one must really have a car or be part of a tour group. Subic Bay area used to be a US military camp so it's quite big to navigate. The hotel walls could not contain the corridor noise - guests returning to or leaving their rooms - good thing it was the lean season so it was not much of a bother. I specifically requested for a bathtub that works (for an ice bath after running a full marathon) only to find out later that the bathtub in our room did not have a drain stopper and the one that was sent did not do a good job of plugging the leaks. Overall, it was still a good stay.

Peaceful Place In Subic”
We really like this place as it is away from the bustles of Subic and only 5 min away you are within the center. The hotel is huge and with a backdrop setting of the mountain. however, the staff are quite noisy. they tend to be doing some noisy tasks on weekends when guests are trying to relax, e.g. noisy grass cutting machine, pressure cleaner, doors from their staff room are always banging. if they could refrain from it, guests would really have a better relaxed stay there.

Great location but small rooms”
our stay at the hotel was great. the place was clean and well maintained. it was accesible to most of the places we wanted to go to in subic. we had few choices for breakfast but dinner was also included so that's great as well. the pool was really great. so aside from the small room we got, we all enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Nice hotel in a quiet location...”
We recommend this hotel for travellers who want to relax as it is situated in a nice quiet location in Subic... however, it is also great for shopaholics and foodatics as malls, duty-free shops and restaurants are just a drive away. Wifi in the ground floor lobby was great but it would have been perfect if wifi signal in the rooms was stronger so we don't have to go to the hallway for better connection.

Large pools, clean room, friendly staff.”
We checked in at midnight, and was greeted with courteous and efficient staff. The following morning, we spent most of the time in the hotel's large pools. For those who are looking for a place to stay in Subic, this hotel is highly recommended.

A good staycation hotel for families with children”
It was a pleasant stay for us at Subic Holiday Villas. Location was perfect for us as it was relaxed and far from the hustle of the freeport commercial center. The rooms were okay for a 3 star rated hotel and service was excellent, check in and check out was a breeze. Hats-off to the hotel staff as we were informed right upon check-in that breakfast was not included in the booking that we made with agoda, but we were surprised to find out the next day that the hotel staff double-checked our booking with agoda and informed us that there was a mix up and breakfast was indeed included in our booking. They could have gone and not told us the development as we were not expecting it anyways but they went out of their way to provide excellent customer service.

adequate but not the best”
This is our 3rd visit to the Subic Holiday Villas. They have made little if any improvements over this period of time. Internet is questionable, they say it is available in the common areas, but that is hit or miss. The free breakfast is good, but they often run out of items. They advertise hot water, but what you get is maybe warm. The staff, as has been the case during each of our stays are outstanding, friendly and helpful, which helps but doesn't offset the shortcomings of management.

Okay stay”
The hotel was nice and clean, very quiet. Takes about 4 minutes to get to the shopping area of Subic itself. No Wifi in the room, you need to stay in the lobby. Bed sheets were kinda itchy, and sometimes the water would have some kind of smell. But besides that the hotel was okay and our room was very big.

Hotel good for family”
went there with my family. there were 10 of us in total ( one kid and one toddler),we had 2 standard rooms and one 2 bedroom suite. hotel is not far from town centre, it is about 10 minutes drive, we went there with a car so no problem for us getting around. there was a simple complimentary dinner but obviously you would have to order extra dishes if you fancy a decent meal. the a la carte menu was ok, price was fair. same goes for breakfast. rooms were basic but comfortable. there was a small swimming pool for kids and a standard pool for adult. if you are looking for some r&r time with your family. this is not a bad choice as the price is fairly reasonable compare to other places in subic.

Great hotel in the Subic Bay Freezone Area”
This was our 3rd stay at the Subic Holiday Villas and like the prior stays we enjoyed it very much. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. One suggestion I would make is to inventory, with the staff, all room articles prior to leaving, we were recalled for one towel which ended up costing 15 US dollars,

Good value for money and strategic location”
It was good for the family although the only problem was that the rate in Agoda was for 3 adults but when we checked in they said that we only paid for 2 adults. They still gave us the room for 3 adults and our overall experience was satisfactory and we will check in again if we go back to subic.

Could be better, nice pool”
This is my second stay at the Subic Holiday Villas. The reason I've stayed here is becuase all other hotels are booked. That should tell you something. You get a free breakfast....simple plate of rice and hotdog or ham. Nothing special in terms of food offered. Pool is very nice. However, each of my visits has started by watching the pool person clean the pool for a very long time each morning. That is frustrating...clean the pool before everyone wakes up please. Rooms are small, few amenities offered. No internet in the room and the internet in the lobby areas isn't consistent.

Disappointing”
This was my 18th visit in the Philippines, 3rd time in Subic. I was traveling with my wife and her family (we were a total of 7 adults and 2 children) and we had 3 rooms in the second floor. No serious issue but: - our room was not clean (i.e. black hair in the bathtub and on toilet bowl seat) - the towels (3) were all with torn edges - the curtains in the room do not cover the whole window/french window (balcony) surface so that it's impossible to have darkness in the room (i like to have my room completely dark in the night) - the aircon is placed right at the side of the bed, at the same level; as a consequence the cold air hits directly the left side your body when lying on the bed - the room was not well maintained (broken floor and kitchenette) - the aircon remote was not working at all - the tv remote was only partially working - breakfast was miserable for choice and quality - management set rules for the use of the pool (8am-10pm (weekdays) and 8am-11pm (weekend)) but at 6am there were already children screaming in the pool: impossible to sleep after 6am - in the afternoon we asked reception to call 2 taxis at 7.20 pm so that we can have them at 7.30 to go out for dinner: they forgot to call the taxis Staff was nice. In Subic there are many hotels: I don't see any reason for staying again at Subic Holiday Villas.

room unavailability at 4pm despite reservation ”
the staff were still not prepared with the 3 rooms we reserved two weeks before our travel. we arrived at subic holiday villas at 4 pm but they asked us to wait for available rooms since they claimed that the vouchers for our reservations were not forwarded to them.

Simple Room”
the location is just inside the sbma - subic and is accessible from the convention site. though you need to have a car to go around as the only public transport is the taxi (which is costly as the minimum fare is expensive) and that you need to request for taxi at the hotel lobby prior to leaving your room as the hotel is located at a secluded area and the taxi do not frequent the area unless there is a passenger bound for the hotel.
