the Sun Moon is located 1 street from the main bar strip in Angeles behind ABC and the Brass Knob Hotel ... the rooms are a good size and there is a well maintained swimming pool ... the wifi works ok and is best closest to the reception area ... the staff are friendly and helpfull with local information ... the hotel is guest friendly with visitors having to provide ID ... there is a small kitchen for guests to use near the pool area ... the hole-the-wall air-con kept the room cool ... the hot water system worked well with a seperate shower hob to help keep the bathroom dry ... the bed linen and especially the towels are starting to show wear - overall a clean well mainted hotel, a little dated perhaps, but reasonably priced with friendly staff

the outside looks better than the inside”
Warning: Sun Moon Apartelle shares management with Sun Moon Hotel and you could be booked in the Hotel like we were. The room was shabby and wouldn't fit 4 nicely like it said in the ad. Good thing we were one short because our friend wasn't able to make it on the day we went. Apparently the place is a bar area so lots of people go to the hotels drunk and/or with companions. It would probably be not such a good location for a group of women to stay in. I've stayed in better places for the same price so I didn't quite feel that it was such a good value for my money. I wish the place was much better maintained. But the most important aspect, the bathroom, was adequately clean and had hot water.

Exceptional”
I wasn't expecting that it would be a big room and it would look that nice. There was also a mini kitchen and a sofa. The only downside was that there was no toothbrush included and there was one mosquito in the room. Nevertheless, it was worth paying for that room.

Good for the money”
It's a long way from a 5 star hotel. However, it is quiet, clean, ( they wet mop the tile walkways daily) and have good people there. Plumbing is old but the water if decently hot. . For the price,, it's good for 2-5 days.

Issue with AGODA!”
We had a not so good experienced with this hotel for transfering our accommodation to another hotel without informing us. They are unable to explain why and the only reason they said was having an issue with AGODA. We also had the hard time talking with their staff regarding our agreement prior checking in.

OK for a couple of nights”
This is an underrated stay..the rooms are a bit tired but still comfortable, the pool and courtyard is great, wifi is good and only a short walk to all the food and entertainment places. They reaaly need to ban smoking from the pool courtyard and they deserve a better standard of clientele with the new management. I had a bad double dipping experience with former management which I'm assured are now gone. I would stay here again.

This hotel is a joke!”
I booked a room for 3 people for 3 nights, cost 235 USD. The room is there but this is it. The bed sheets are thin as paper. The AC runs on fully cold and is not adjustable neither can be switched off. After complaining, we been told that it is to safe electric (LOL). However, it is freezing in the room! The TV is the smallest in history. The pool was closed for most of the time and only opened the last day after some serious complain. The caretaker is as well the maid but he seems to be God and is too lazy to change for example the bed sheets. However, new bed sheets were given (after complains) and need to be changed by the costumers. The shower was blocked and we used toothpicks to make it a kind of work. This hotel is basically for short time (as long no shower is needed) but not recommended for an overnight stay or even longer. For this price we could have rented 2 rooms in a good hotel with working AC, shower, pool, normal TV size, Restaurant and so on.

It need a complete renovation as everything is old”
Not comfortable as there was no basic facilities in the room. Lighting in the room was poor. Water shower was not satisfactory. Misled by the pool picture when selecting a hotel.

Family room with 4 occupant supplied with 2 towels, when 2 more towels requested we were told that the laundry had not come back yet, 5 days later? Bed sheets had burn holes in them, Room made up every other day if you are lucky. towels had large holes in them and were torn. Zomby cat going off every 20 minutes.
