My favorite hotel in Subic”
My stay at the Sun Plaza was my best experience with a hotel in Subic, or even in or out of the United States. There is something management has done in setting up this hotel such that the staff is very personally committed to the success of the business and ensuring guests have a fantastic experience. They are genuine and honestly helpful in a way you just don't see in America, where staff members are often undercompensated and corporate customer service training produces a veneer of amicability but little real heart. The drivers were particularly helpful in making sure I was able to settle last-minute details for Valentine's Day. The breakfast options are diverse and tasty. Our side of the hotel overlooked a pleasant resort and we were enchanted by the sound of children and families playing, as well as the music. But the sounds were easily shut off when desired by closing the balcony door. The spa is well worth a visit - my masseuse there removed stiffness with a level of skill I rarely see. The bathroom was also very well appointed, sometimes difficult to find here, and in another rarity for this area, the wi-fi strength was very solid, allowing us to easily share pictures and memories with friends and family. Overall, this hotel and its staff really did everything possible to make this year's Valentine's Day the most special of our lives. We could not be happier, and we will definitely visit again.

A nice place to stay within Subic Bay”
Stayed here for my vacation in Subic for 2 weeks. Much affordable than most hotels within the area. Subic Bay is notoriously expensive so the price caught my attention. More spacious than other hotels. It's a condotel so there's a small kitchen on each rooms I think. Not as fancy as other hotels, but decent and clean. Free breakfast, gym, jacuzzi, and access to the pool next door. Walking distance to the Boardwalk and Royal Supermarket. There are restaurants and bars close by. Friendly and accommodating staff. Will recommend.

Good lication, nice room and comfortable beds and pillows. We had a great time spending our vacation in Sun Plaza Hoyel Subic. The only thing that needs to be improved is to have a good coffee and variety of breakfast menu. Thay had a very limited choice of breakfast but the staff at the cafe attends to us eventhough she is alone. Their limitations can be improved, though. But over-all, the hotel has a thumbs up rating.

Great Modern Hotel”
This hotel treats you great and it is super modern. Lots of space, high tech controls for fans and lights. Staff is very helpful. I would stay again. The Spa is amazing and food is really very good. They also have an upscale bar. I can not say enough good things, this hotel is a level above almost every hotel in Subic Bay.

Really like it BUT....”
I went to subic to see my ill grandpa. The hotel Is clean with friendly staff. The security guards were also attentive specially Saldy. I can say it can be compared to a nice hotel here in USA. Breakfast was just ok. My con was on my last night I passed by the front desk and said can you prepare my bill as I was leaving. I was in a bit of a rush bec the driver that will take me to the airport will be there soon. Long story short my room was cleaned with the do not disturb sign on(I normally move my stuff if I request cleaning) and they said 2 towels were missing . So they are holding up check out. A thing to know about me is i brought my own towels from USA. I do that when I travel. So why would I take their towel that I do not use. I even opened my suitcase in front of them just to make sure that I didn't space out and packed it. I said please have your manager called me . They are trying to charge me $10 a towel. This is a small amount but I refuse to pay for towels I didn't take

Good accomodation”
Our group of 8 pax availed of the executive room good for 6. We have to pay additional 500 for each additional person and another 500 for an extra bed. The room is very spacious and complete this that we would need in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel in subic. If i had another trip with group of friends i will probably go back to this place. I guess my only draw back is the breakfast was soso and that the shower area in the bathroom had no ledge or shelf to place the shamppo and soap. Other than that everything is okay.

Perfect for Businss”
This was my second stay at the Sun Plaza. I have stayed in rooms 306 and 307 and they were perfect. The beds are amazing and there are more closets and storage than you can ever use. The Android TV is convenient and you can surf the internet or check your email right on the TV. There is a wireless router in each room so your signal is full strength all the time. I have toured each of the room types in the hotel an all are fantastic. The spa is beautiful and the massage services are extremely relaxing. The staff is very friendly and will take care of any requests with a smile. There are drivers available to take you wherever you want to go and with advance notice they will pick you up in Manila. I will stay here again and no where else.

home from home”
I have stayed at Sun Plaza a few times now and not once had any reason to complain. I usually go for room with balcony and at night great view of the lighthouse. Unusual there is in-house gym ,excellent sauna, step, room and "genuine" massage so very relaxing. The new shopping mall, harbour point , is 5 minutes away with large selection of restaurants. Pros: The room has a kitchen, veranda, cabinet The pillows are soft and comfortable. They offer sauna and jacuzzi, gym access and pool situated on resort. You just need to get a pool coupon to access the marina bay villas pool. Buffet is great. Choices are a little limited but it's good enough The staff are very courteous and helpful. The toilet bowl uses a bidet seat/washlet similar in japan minus all the other features such heater etc. Ample parking space The hotel is 5-10 mins walk to Texas Joe, Giligans, Pier One. Cons: The towel may need to be replaced as it's a little worn out. In our room there's no beach view instead you'll have a view of Marina villas pool. Pool access is on another resort which is a 2 mins walk (there's a door athe back of the hotel) Note: There is a deposit of Php 2000 and environment fee of Php 100 per night.

Stayed with my 14 year old son. Very clean room, courteous, polite and very helpful staff. Whatever I asked for (extra bottles of water, extra tea bags, extra towels etc.) was provided instantly. Buffet breakfast needs improvement - both in terms of variety and quantity. Located walking distance from malls, money exchange, restaurants. No trikes allowed inside Freeport area so had to hire a cab on daily basis. Overall a very pleasant stay.
