Great location, beautiful staff”
The location is great, just around the corner from the Puerto Princesa baywalk and down the road from the SM Mall. All of the staff are very nice and attentive and there wasn’t anything that was too much hassle for them. A great bonus was the complimentary airport transfer to and from the hotel.. the other thing that we loved about his hotel was the fact they provided a packed breakfast (sandwich) when we left at 5am in the morning- this was not asked for and they purely did this for our comfort! Thank you Sunlight Guest Hotel for a pleasurable stay!

Exceptional”
The room was so big and there's a plenty of space to put our things during our stay. The bathroom is big too but the water pressure is not strong enough and instead of having a bath in 5 minutes you'll be done in 10 minutes because of the water pressure. The cupboards smells when you open it. The wifi signal is excellent. Breakfast at Ricardos is amazing but when we eat there for dinner they don't refill the foods. They were so busy with the parties that time that they forgot that they have some walk in costumers too. But all in all our stay was very good. For sure we'll come back again but will have dinner somewhere else. Staffs are excellent to and their gym is quiet good.

Despite of some negative reviews i've read, i still book this hotel because the location if accesible to all..During my stay, i can say that the hotel and staff exceed my expectation,The hotel provided all things that you need, sewing kit,hair dryers and hygiene kits.Rooms is spacious, with cabinets, and tv and ref.Recommended rooms are the one that has a balcony, with bay view.. Locations are accesible to all,just around the city..sm are nearby, drugstore and convenience stores.. Gym and resto are also inside the hotel..bfast meals are free ..just go to their resto and claim ur meal,buffet style🙂

Hotel is just across the Market of Puerto Princesa. Rooms are spacious and clean. Pillows are soft. Buffet breakfast have a limited choices but enough to fill you up to start tour day.

Nice Room, Nice Gym, Hard Bed, Crappy Wifi”
My biggest complaint is connecting to the wi-fi is really inconvenient and slow. I wish they would just use a normal secured network with a password. The room was nice and clean, and free access to the gym was nice too, better than most hotel gyms. The bed was a bit hard for a nice hotel. Overall I was happy, even though the wifi drove me a bit crazy :)

have been more than once in this hotel. good location (although maybe too close to public market), clean and comfortable room, kind staff. completely useless and expensive breakfast with practically no choice of food (only filipino breakfast) and super slow service (30 mins to prepare one egg and to fry sausage) but there are many options outside hotel so just dont count on hotel for it.

I’ve stayed at Sunlight 3 times now. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are really nice and clean. The view from the balcony rooms (Deluxe) are phenomenal. However, be careful of rooms “with windows” because your view may be of a hall way or storage area. I would still highly recommend Sunlight Guest Hotel and Zen Rooms at Sunlight.

Good older hotel”
Sunlight is solid choice for an older hotel that has all the basic amenities you would expect from a decent hotel with budget friendly prices. Portions of the hotel are currently under renovation, but only the gym seemed to be unaccessible. The hotel was quick and responsive to requests and our rooms was spacious. Breakfast buffet was alright. The only disappointment we had was that the rain shower head was unusable due to leaks. The handheld shower head worked fine though.

Nice Hotel near Puerto Princesa Bay”
Location is excellent is you are looking to check out the baywalk (some authentic filipino restaurants there). The rooms are spectacular considering it's a 3-star hotel. Free airport transfers are the icing on the cake (just let them know in advance). If there is anything to improve, it would probably be the catering, but it's decent enough for a 3-star hotel.

Room is functional and cozy but lack of window and the need to be with artificial light all day lessens the guest experience. Food is traditional, basic with an attempt to rise beyond and wink to western kitchen - no very successful one. View from the restaurant ovrlooking the bay makes it up for most of the above howe er...
