SunSea Resort amazes us up until now. First,the resort's employees are approachable and nice. Second,the resort is clean and well-equipped. It has heater. 😉 Lastly, the entire place gives us serenity.

Worth your money! Quality-wise!”
The only downside of the resort is the location since it is located in Nueva Valencia so it's quite distant to the wharf. However if you don't have a private car, they have an available resort van to fetch their guests. Other than that, all else are very satisfactory. They welcome their guests with drinks and the staff are very friendly, polite and approachable at any time. The room was neat, clean and very spacious. Facilities were also complete. They even have leisure activities available for the guests aside from the pool. If you intend to spend a quiet and relaxing vacation, this is the place for you. The resort is worth coming back! Overall experience was excellent! They deserve a 5 star rating!!!

If you want to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, go visit Guimaras and book in SunSea Resort. Their fried chicken is the best!!! It's still crunchy the next day (left over namin) Lastly, they have an amazing and friendly staffs. Wish I could extend more

Misleading room descriptions but excellent staff service”
Room descriptions and photos were very much misleading so travelers be warned. The management, we're told, have not updated or broken down the rooms on online booking sites. Do reconfirm again number of beds especially if you're traveling in a group. We didn't mind the remote location and absence of surrounding amenities or available establishments. The staff though were very warm, helpful, and thoughtful in assisting us and even went the extra mile at night to ask if we had other needs.

The fire alarm makes an annoying sound every so seconds. The receptionist didn't return to fix our complaint. Pool could be cleaner. Room is spacious. They give a free buko juice after your island hopping. Food tasted good.

The only downside in this resort, access to the beach. You need to walk or ride the trike to get into a beach.

The staff are nice... The room is great... We enjoyed our food specially the mangoes.. A pool is a bit old but with a great view of the beach... If given a chance to go back in guimaras we will surely stay at sun sea again...

Felt taken advantage of ”
We paid for 1500php / 30 USD for a motorcycle we borrowed which we only used for a total of 30mins. In siargao island you can rent a motorcycle for 24hrs in only 350php / 7USR. Staff member named Danna, borrowed for us a motorcycle for rent from Ambros (a guy who also works for the place). The motorcycle is manual, old and hard to drive. We went for a short ride along the provincial road just to see whether there are places to see. THERE’S NONE around the neighborhood. They arranged for us a boat ride for island hopping which they said would take us to 3 different spots and any other ones we want to go to. We ended up going to only 2. And we shouldered the entrance fees to those places. The only thing we liked during our stay is the service on the nearby eatery. It’s called BIKING’S. Sunsea didn’t meet our expectations about Ilonggo hospitality. We just feel taken advantage of. Upon check out, we rode their van back to Jordan port along with other guests. The van as a whole is only 1500php / 30 USD for all the guests, all 8 of us. So how come that motorcycle we used for 30mins in total for gas consumption just to go to Bikings cost us the same price? I think that, along with the boat rides, are a side “business” of staff. IDK if that’s official business of sunsea but either way it’s really bad. I felt taken advantage of. Felt like the hospitality was superficial.

Hi, Sunsea for me they have friendly staff. But breakfast is ok hmm. But I can't eat the same no variety to choose because they're always out of stock. And ants keep coming in the room whenever they want 😉 and water heater doesn't stay the temperature grrr... No beach when we came it's heavy rain .even ice bucket of ice they charge 😂 I wish not to do so but surprising,I can't recommend to my friends doesn't reach to my standard .but thank you Sunsea 😊
