This was the second best hotel I stayed in on this trip, but I wouldn't recommend staying here if there is a wedding booked. For some reason the hotel played Gangsta rap music all day on the Saturday? I think because of the language barrier they don't understand how offensive some of the lyrics can be in this type of music.

Please make sure that your beddings are clean. I noticed some stain on your bed sheet, pillow case and blanket plus the floor is dirty. But over all staff are good and nice.

Suzuki Stay”
Located right on Bario Barretta, this one has Japanese ownership. Very basic room bu right on the beach. Staff was good and on the whole, you do get a sense of security.

Too pricey”
Booked last Dec 30 2019 to Jan 1 2020. They gave me a room at the 2nd flr. They have the worst wifi. I failed to connect to wifi during my whole stay. And based on old reviews, I didnt bothered asking for another room. There was one staff who became remarkable to me. He asked my nephews when they went there with me in a rude way if they are booked in the hotel. The hotel design and amenities are so out-dated. The only pros I can point out are the aircon and food(bit pricey but very good quality).

Expectation vs Reality”
We expected an excellent room facilities in this hotel since we paid more than the 1st night hotel...however we were disappointed wd the room quality they provide. 1. A/C is not located strategically in the room...w/c means....ot doesn't provide enough coldness in the intire room instead we wr just offered an electricfan fan...which very inconvenient since we also have kids. 2. WIFI connection is weak.... 3. Tiolet bowl flush is not working properly. We requested to be transfered to another room but accdg to the hotel manager they don't have extra room for us. We wr offered Free breakfast to compensate for the inconveniencr but we felt like it was not enough. We stayed overnight anyway...bec there is no way they could refund what we have paid for even if we told them we want to transfer to a different hotel. We wr expecting a perfect Family vacation wd our stay in this hotel but our expectation was not met. 4. Food is a little pricey too. I hope the management /owner of thr hotel can do something about this issue....fot future booking. I will not recomment this for you. Sooo disappointed wd their facilities. It does not provide you a good value for the money. 😥

Clean and comfortable in areat beachside location”
This was weekend stay for diving in Subic bay. Hotel was clean and comfortable mid-range hotel right beside the beach and central in Barretto Beach area. Friendly staff - front desk, restaurant, security and other service staff. No internet in rooms, but free wifi in reception and restaurant area. Not a heavily developed area and some parts are run down, but some nice local restaurants and beach bars. This trip was on a budget, so I took the Victory Liner bus from Manila to Olongapo and the local blue Jeepney from the bus station to hotel - a very cheap and fun local way to travel if you like a little adventure.

if you want quiet, this hotel is for you”
This seems to be a japanese owned hotel and is patronised by many japanese tourists. Best part is that japanese tourists are very quiet and respectful, so i loved it here. The rooms are a bit dated and spartan, but it was a low cost hotel. The staff were great, the hotel grounds and rooms impeccably clean. Small but nice infinity pool. Sure, i could complain about the dirty harbour, the hawkers or the ants, but none of these are the hotels fault. Please remember, we are reviewing hotels. If you want a quiet and relaxing hotel, i do recommend Suzuki.

We enjoyed our stay at Suzuki Beach Hotel Inc. Really liked that our room is just a few steps from the beach. Well maintained rooms and I like the little lawn area where you can eat your meals under the tree.

Old ugly run down rooms with old CR facilities. Food is a bit overpriced for what it is. Wouldn't eat there again. But location is nice and there is a more private parking lot for your car. Rooms just aren't as nice as iCove Beach Hotel (for sure), yet they are charging the same price as iCove. Wouldn't stay here again. Stay at iCove for a better room at the same price. Overpriced and should be priced lower when the rooms have seen better days.

NICKEL AND DIME”
ROOMS ARE SMALL AND MANY THINGS NOT WORKING. THEY LABEL THERE ROOMS AS STANDARD, PREMIUM AND EXECUTIVE. THE EXECUTIVE ROOM THAT I HAD IS SMALL BY AMERICAN STANDARDS SMALLER THAN A STANDARD ROOM IN THE STATES. SEVERL THINGS NOT WORKING THAT THEY DID FIX WHEN I REQUESTED THEM TO BE FIXED. SMALL BATHROOM. THE STAFF IS VERY GOOD AND HELPFUL. THEY DO HOWEVER NICKEL AND DIME YOU TO TEARS AT THIS HOTEL. ICE IS 11 PASO'S THE PRICE IS SMALL BUT SO IS THE ICE BUCKET THEY GIVE YOU. JUST ENOUGH ICE FOR 2 DRINKS. POOL IS WONDERFUL AND REFRESHING. THE BEACH IS SUBSTANDARD. THE HOTEL DOES NOT GROOM THIER BEACH. GARBAGE CAN BE SEEN MOST EVERYWHERE ON THE BEACHES HERE AND YES EVEN IN THE WATERS OF THE BAY. IT APPEARS THAT MOST OF THE HOTELS HERE DO NOT CLEAN THIER OWN BEACHES. THERE ARE SIGNS THAT STREET RUNOFF AND SOME SEWER WATER RUNS INTO THE OCEAN HERE.

Hotel is in a really good location. It is at the end of a lane right on the beach. The hotel is old, but the staff keeps the rooms clean. Rose ans the front desk is friendly, efficient, and very pleasant to deal with. The restaurant does a great job on the Japanese dishes and the service is great !

Outstanding, quiet, best food in Barrio Baretto”
Best hotel out of the 5 different hotels I stayed at on my 2 week Luzon tour. Very quiet and peaceful grounds and rooms. Perfectly manicured grounds and very clean common areas. Beachfront in the very center of Barrio Barretto. Staff speaks English well as well as passable Japanese. Although marketed mainly to Japanese, about half the guests were non Asians. I felt at home and welcome. Best food I had on my trip. Authentic Japanese food at reasonable prices. Guest friendly. I will book again.

Suzuki beach hotel was okay since we got what we paid for. The place was clean. Room was a bit small but it was still okay since we didn't pay much. Service was also good. The food was just a bit expensive but everything else was fine.

Nice and comfortable ”
Location is strategic facing to the beach. You can sit while watching the beautiful beach. Room was clean but looks older. Aircon is really cold. It’s comfortable the stay and its quite and peaceful. The only -ve point is the order for any food will take a long time to prepared (30 minutes- 1 hour) not suitable if you a starving. Swimming pool was clean with beach view. The hotel also offer many kind of water activities.

It was good for the price. I extended my stay”
My stay started off bad. I got in Late ( about midnight) and reception appeared to be closed. The gate to the hotel was shut and I couldn't even get into the facilities. I had to wonder around at midnight in a place id never been before and find a room for one night somewhere. Next day when I come to check in..come to find out there is a gate inside the main gate that I could of used to enter onto the hotel property. Its not marked, and does not say this anywhere. I ended up missing out on my first night and had to pay for a room somewhere else as well. Just a little frustrating after traveling all day from Cebu to get there. overall the hotel was good. Its on the beach and has a floating bar near by at a hotel called Arizona. Lots of bars and nighlife around. Room was nice. Bed was not so comfortable but I have had worse. The blinds were not really blinds and as soon as the sun was out, it the room was light. A bit annoying if you stay out late and like to sleep in. Staff was really nice, and helped book my bus trip back to Angeles ( DONT TAKE A TAXI, book one of the shuttle buses for 1/4 the price.
