This hotel situates among shops and restaurants. Almost all the attractions in Reykjavik are within walking distances. We had a rental car and parking was easy to find on streets. The hotel offers a water fountain that we kept using to fill our bottles with water before a road trip. This is a hotel I would definitely go back if I were t visit Reykjavik.

Very modern furnishings with a window that opens to let in the cool night air. Alda's location was good for shopping and restaurants. In fact, there's a good one on the ground floor. There's a Hop On Hop Off bus stop on the same street. It's an easy walk to the Hallgrimskirkja. And it's not too bad a walk, half uphill, half downhill to the BSI Bus Terminal where many types of buses stop. Both those places are also stops for the Hop On Hop Off bus.

Lovely little base in the heart of Reykjavik”
Staff were fantastic, and extremely helpful with food suggestions / trips / arranging transport and storing luggage. Room was very clean and comfortable, and they restock a good supply of coffee everyday. Location is perfect for either exploring the city or using as a base for day trips

Great Place”
It was easy to catch the buses to all my tours from this hotel, and I was walking distance from Icelands great nightlife. The room was spacious and comfy, the outdoor balcony was a great add on as well. Check out bit.ly/ebisiceland if you would like to see my adventure in this wonderful country.

Fantastic location for a hotel right in the middle of city centre. Bear in mind that this is a hotel in the middle of city centre so only taxis can drop you off here. the main bus stop is then 10 Hlemmer which is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. Lots of bars and restaurants next to the hotel which makes dining easy.

En la pagina web de Alda Hotel dicen "todas tienen una caja fuerte en la habitación, un mini bar y un escritorio" pues NO tiene mini bar, es decir, no hay ni una mini nevera ni bebidas. Las habitaciones carecen de armario para guardar la ropa, tienen dos percheros para colgar dos prendas. Relación calidad-precio NO recomendable.

櫃檯接待人員非常nice!很愉快的住宿經驗 有再訪冰島 一定會再選擇這間❤️ 因Flybus突然取消 櫃檯人員還協助幫忙打電話確認～ 住宿沐浴用品為歐舒丹:) 只是晚上會一直聽到類似抽水馬達的聲音 若怕吵的旅客 再評估看看囉
